Sexual Harrassment
Posted:
7/7/2006 12:01:04 PM
Unwanted attention makes some people very uneasy and threatened if they feel it goes too far, and don't know how to tell the offending party to stop.
but it can also be a perception thing. If a hot, good looking, charming man pays you a compliment, it's flirting, if a troll does it, it's sexual harrassment... lol

Watching Men Pee
Posted:
7/6/2006 12:45:36 PM
there are a few lines in a Blue Rodeo song, where they are walking along the beach and "He wrote her name out in the sand... never even let go of her hand...." I don't know why my perverse mindset immediately thought of him wriiting it with penis inhand, with yellow urine ink .. pen in hand -- penis in hand -- damn thats a new connection! anyway I'm sure Jim Cuddy used a stick in the sand lol but I love a good pee, especially outdoors in the country.. maybe I was remembering when years ago, a big woofy mountain man wrote my name in a snow bank, (really big letters, too, in pee) and I was utterly impressd with the feat, so hell yeah, I guess it was a turn on watching him do it,,,

Challenging? What for?

Hey souririe, can I have that thought process in english , please?
Challenge: A test of one's abilities or resources in a demanding but stimulating undertaking
Gee, most of you treat this topic like it's a bad thing, perhaps misreading possible true intent. I know, because I have used those very words in previous profiles. I would love to find a man strong and stimulating and capable of challenging me, as opposed to being boring or complacent. You know, someone who brings out the very best in you, helps you rise to the occasion, nourishes your growth as a person, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually...
I mean being challenged as a good thing, like fasten your seatbelts baby its gonna be a wild ride! Why bother at all, if you ain't gonna take it to town?

I have the heart of a cowgirl trapped in the city, as far as "save a horse , ride a cowboy goes!" I'd love to find my own mister Ramrod Rowdy Yates, played by a young Clint Eastwood , as a dusty drover on RAWHIDE. Yessssiirrreeeeee, he was the whole thermometer.... as hot any hunky cowpoke could be, and the coolest one too...
Back in a day when men like him were hard working, tall in the saddle, help a friend, rough and ready, tough and steady , dependable kind of guys. and even though they have a tender side, it's far from the wimpy, wooosy, sad , pathetic, overly sensitive metrosexual , so in touch with their feminine side guys you find in the city !!! lololol After dealing with goofy suit nobs obsessed with their cell phones and S U Vs, a cowboy is a refreshing breath of fresh air.
gimme a laid back down to earth country boy over a city slicker any day! P l e a s e ....

This is definitely a deal breaker... in a long term relationship musical compatibility is just as important as sex, food, and who takes out the garbarge...

What kind of live music on a date?
Posted:
5/23/2006 10:36:06 AM
Well I am definitely passionate about the music I like, so finding a man with similar tastes is a factor. I like singer song writers, whether they are folk, country, rock, or blues, and all the variations in between. My girlfriend ended up jumping into bed and marrying a guy because he played a Lauyra Nyro album when he got her back to his place on their first date lol .... music can be the deal breaker too.. No matter how wonderfully witty, attractive, fun and cool you are, if your favourite band is coldplay, or you listen to nuthin but rap, hey, I'm outta there! Eleni Mandel, Greg Brown, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Fred Ealglesmith, Taj Mahall, Rickie Lee Jones, Kelly Joe Phelps, Tom Waits, John Prine, Neko Case... a little torch and twang always melts my butter... anything that puts you in the mood to dance. whether its fast or slow is good. Seeing a great band live can sure be a swell date. (and i've got the t shirts to prove it.. lol)

What are your deal breakers
Posted:
5/11/2006 7:08:41 PM
I have to agree that poor dental hygiene, resulting in seriously foul odorous breath, was a deal breaker last weekend, for a girlfriend of mine who met someone here, and dated him twice. He was nice, intelligent, humourous, cool, and they got along great. but until he see's a dentist, and takes care of his mouth, it's a deal breaker.
My last two deal breakers happen to both be other forum topics.... penis size and alcoholism... lol
Two years ago I met a guy online and we instantly clicked. The e mails flew thick and fast, presents via snail mail, long, witty, brilliant exchanges of all sorts! Phone conversations flourished as we made plans to hook up. He lives down in the states, so long story short, it ended up being a pretty expensive first date for me, but no prob, I'm a big sport. . He was just great, a big sweet hot mountain man of a guy, six foot two, with a truck and a couple dogs... We love the same music, nice chemistry, he was a terrific kisser... but the big disappointment came the first night ... after necking like teenagers for what seemed like more than an hour on the bed, I was warmed up and ready for more.. I figured he was being a shy gentleman by not rushing me, so I took the initiative so he would not be unsure of my desires. My hand moved from his big strong beefy chest lower lower as I gently groped his crotch looking for a tell tale bulge to massage, I got nervous No discernible hard on in fact, from what I could tell, no****at all??? I got a little nervous , at this point, having never made out with a real live Ken doll before.. well it's a sad story, cuz he really is a really great guy, but was short changed in his endowment, I mean baby carrot here, I am talking my pinkie finger is larger than his flacid member. Small and limp was a deal breaker for me call me shallow call me a size queen yes he was perfectly able to satisfy me with his lips tongue and hands (which thank god were NOT freakishly wee) but tiny AND impotent ... whaaaa
I figured he probably had psychological problems in that area, and if he didn't already, I woulda given his some... made for a slightly uncomfortable week... lol
and I had to break up with the love of my life because he couldn't go a day without drinking something It is sooo not fun living with an alcoholic another deal breaker

What do you do when there's no hope for you??
Posted:

Music I am passionate about the power of music
when I am at my lowest, I find music has always had the power to help soothe my blues.
I have no idea who you like to listen to , but in the past, Taj MAhall , especially his album, Music Keeps Me Together, has brought a smile to my broken heart, or Greg Brown, Fred Eaglesmith, Kelly Joe Phelps, Laura Nyro, Rickie Lee Jones. Bob Dylan or Van the Man Morrisson all have to power to change my mood for the better...

I'd love to see some numbers...
Posted:
2/21/2006 6:47:14 PM
........ I'd love to see some numbers too... How about the winning numbers for the next million dollar lottery ticket ??? no seriously, this friend of mine complains to me that he's not getting any because his girlfriend is going out every night , to play bingo! So I tell him, you want her to pay attention to you? Paint numbers on your balls!! so it all depends what numbers you wanna see...
I am a girl from the north country, as bob dylan says, currently residing in scenic southern Ontario, Canada.... but I am more than willing to relocate and I love road trips.... I just LOVE you yankee men, especially the ones with long low slow sexy southern drawls... damn ---- just melts my butter thinkin' about it. I have air miles I can use .....
Actually, I met an amazing man online (not on a dating site ... ) and after we e mailed, phone chatted and web cammed for almost year , I finally decided I couldn't live without him, and moved clear across the country, and border to be with him. It was utterly fantastic and lasted four years, but ended very badly, and I've been basically broken hearted, bitter and dateless for two or three years now. But I am enjoying reading the forums here, and feel much better swimming in the same pool as all you other crazy fish!!!
