Thank you all for your wonderful comments, Nubutterfly and I enjoy putting something together where everyone has a safe environment to party in, making new friends , even if you don't find the partner of your dreams,lol. I know this venue has been good to me ,especially the party side of it, I made some wonderful friends male and female and hope to continue to do so. Lets have fun at the next party , when ?? where??

We had a wonderful time partying the night away at the Maritime Center, Oct 31, 2009. The costumes were outstanding and pictures will be uploaded shortly. THANK YOU Billy Dixon for your generosity once again by donating cash prizes for 4 Best Costumes. We had continous music from 8:00 PM til 1:00 AM starting off with the EPICS and finishing to to the lovely sounds of BILLY DIXON and his soul train express. We sure look forward to next years Halloween Party with more newbies as well, hope you all had a good time .

We had such a wonderful turn out last night and it was very good to see so many new faces. Keep it up and we hope you will join more of the events...great way to make new friends. Thanks to Earl and Christine for helping out as both nubutterfly and I had to leave for a couple of hours. The day for fun has come !!. The roads should be ok if the rain keeps up and the snow melts. Just remember to get there early and avoid disappointment of not finding a seat. The food is always very good there as well. Drive safely and lets have lots of fun tonight

We are very sorry that the pictures of the winning costumes have not been posted yet due to a glitch. THANK YOU BILLY FOR PROVIDING THE GENEROUS CASH PRIZES AT THIS FABULOUS EVENT. Thanks to Bigandtalldancer for his post, and yes a big amount of time and effort goes into the making of a successfull evening. I know nubutterfly, Carl Lingus69 and I (despite recovering from 2 broken ribs) pitched in at the last minute and a busy 1 1/2 hrs it was. KUDOS to Billy Dixon for another successfull event

What a great time we all had dancing to 2 bands, meeting up with old friends and admiring the gorgeous costumes. Our own PINK received first prize of $ 100.00 for her Sheriff outfit and a fine one she made. 2nd prize $ 75 went to the Magician 3rd prize of $ 50.00 to the Caveman, we all admired his legs and 4th prize $ 25.00 went to the pink Saloon lady.The POF table with 10 dwarfs was a lovely sight as well. Thank you all for coming out to this event, thanks to my co-hosts newbutterfly and bigandtalldancer, it is always a pleasure working with you and a special thank you to sweetandsassy for supplying us with the best fresh bags of potato chips.A special thank you to our never tiring photographer..Carl lingus69

For those of you who have signed up here but did not order your ticket from Billy Dixon, my suggestion is to do so very very soon, before Saturday. This will be a great party with about 300 people in attendance, (that number could change drastically )woohoo We will hand out bracelets once everyone is seated at the POF designated tables, so watch for your host's. pursuit: you may want to goggle the area and see what is close to there. However , I would not be in a hurry to get a hotel on Hastings Street, try something around the Kingsway area perhaps, just look for a chain name of hotels you recognize, See you at the dance

ML1,....bite your tongue please....of course all good things come from South SURREY And yes I would be cautious with a mobile home between 30-50 thousand, especially where the pad rent is around $ 400.00. However, if you are dependent on public transit you may not want to go further out.

Halokitty, the party last year was a blast. There were a lot of outstanding costumes which showed that a lot of thought went into them. I can hardly wait to see all the costumes this year , especially at this venue which is larger then the one we attended last year.

Billy Dixon's last dance cruise for this year was a perfect way to end the summer with. Everybody had a great time , the rain didn't matter since we had 2 covered decks and as always the music was superb. BigandTallDancer and I want to thank every one of you who came out to spend a great afternoon in calm waters. Can't wait till next year

Of course I am picky...who wants to listen about the ex who apparently was sooooo bad? And yes , appearance is a great factor on my picky list as well, who wants to be met by someone wearing a tracksuit and slippers , dirty fingernails,teeth falling out at any minute..."oh yes do have that crunchy chocolate bar the tooth will come out painlessly",lol, just think of the $ 97.00 you save on an extraction, and then there are the whiners,oh how depressing. Life is what you make of it and I AM PICKY, darn right
