POOR "US" I feel for you ...I raised my two sons all by myself, All this made me a better more patient and understanding human being, I 've tried at some relationships in the past , seems the kids were always the main distraction. Unless you find someone now and will fall in love with you both and treat you right , well otherwise, don't expose her innosence to "crap" concentrate on the love you and her share, give it all its worth it....I guess faith has its way patience is the virtue, good luck!

NY rocks, and NY men rule!!!!yea I feel the need to "jump right in" and share my view. Internet is great! for us (Generation x ) Been there done the bars and the clubs scene, Bars are for people to get drunk and lose the sense of reality, listen to loud music and act crazy, and so I have never met anyone to be in a state of mind to think of forming a relationship when you drunk EVERYONE is your soulmate or true love. And if it happens for two drunks to hook up "more power to them..... Clubs are for the "younglings" to dance , all this energy .... get grunk on 1% alcohol pretend to be drunk , just to score and do the "wild thing"...ah to be young again... I hope I didn't start something here, although I have a feeling I did just wanted to say , I rather be here havin fun, safe and sober, still meeting people.....

wow I feel for you! and your son well you just must love him twice a much. wow Even a dog wouldn't abandon the offspring, shame sorry! we were abandoned , I never really talk about the father because like "yours "made promises and never kept them, well I distracted my sons and show them that I love them very very much and took away from myslef but it was woth it . then 10 years laten when my son was 12 and his father went through a liver transplant, contacts me and ask to see the boys . Sure that was arranged and after a weekend with father ......well when I picked them up they turned arround and said to him "No wonder mom didn't want to do anything with you" he felt like a biggest loser, I seen his face drop. He is the one that lost out on a beautiful life of my chldren , they are all grown adn taller than me, thanking me! I thought them to love and appreciate life whichever turn it takes , its still your way to happiness. good luck and lots of love and huggs to your boy. take care if Barb
