Can you re-take the Personality test? Posted: 4/12/2009 5:39:23 AM | I understand the reasoning behind not letting people retake the test just because they want less hurtful answers, most people dont like hearing the truth about themselves. However I noticed in this thread I am not the only one whos assessment came out very wrong. I am extremely and unusually self aware and know very much what I need and dont, like and do not like, even my shortcomings. The assessment I recieved was so far off on quite a few topics, I do not want to be matched on its basis. If it were more on par to who I am in reality, then I would be happy to leave it on my profile. My assessment came back all positive however in too many integral ways it was inaccurate.
I did not rush through my test, I gave each question careful thought. Yet it still came back wrong about things I am dead set about. Unfortunately the most important things.
If there is no way to retake the test, is there a way to refine the test for accuracy or maybe a secondary test after the assesment to get a second opinion? Another option might even be to have a comment section for us to reply to the specific assesment sections as to *our opinion* of how close or off it was? That way when people view it on our profile they can also read our personal disclaimers/comments for a better read on us. ie: mine said Im not as likely to be open to new experiences or growth opportunities, pardon me but lol I am the First person to jump on a new experience and growth oppurtunity, its something about me many people have expressed being envious of! | | | |
