If you know for sure he wasn't having sex with her,it must be because he couldn't have sex with you or anyone other woman, man,or inanimate object.Who in the heck would travel a long distance to see an ex for 2 weeks and not have sex?
Give me a break!

GIRLS AND TATTOOS
Posted:

I remember when a tat had a meaning. Then I started seeing suburban white soccer moms in mini vans with them....tat's are so lame now.I'm thinking of getting mine removed.
It used to be you weren't normal if you had a tat....now you're not normal if you DON'T have a tat!
Women with tat's wreak of effort and attention.

Is Every Man On Here A Felon?
Posted:
10/20/2009 2:15:50 PM
I'm a convicted felon and did a few year years in prison.I'm 36 now and stole a couple cars when I was 18 for joy-riding.I have no problem telling anyone my past.I did it,got caught, took responsibility, did my time and didn't cry about it or blame anyone. At the time,I didn't feel like I had anything to lose and just didn't care.
Now,I'm probably the most pious person in the world.I'm a co-owner of a small company and love to work. Our company is one of the top-rated companies in the D.C. area.
As a convicted felon myself,I can say that the majority will re-offend and all around aren't the most trustworthy people, but not all of us Scarlet Letter wearers are bad to the core.I'm also sure plenty of squeaky clean men do the things that you mentioned.

A family member is dying today, and I'm mad at him.

Break the cycle.
You said you were abused yourself.Have you dealt with it? He may have been abused himself, not that I'm excusing his actions and in turn abused the next generation and then that next generation may abuse the next and so on.
I don't know much about your mother,so I'm just making assumptions here, but I assume she's older and is from the generation of women who stayed home and were subservient and seen and not heard. What happened in the home, stayed in the home and it was all about being loyal to the husband and looking peachy to the neighbors.I've seen documentaries where mothers would go to the grave with the secret rather than letting the world know that they weren't the perfect family.
I would let your family member have it or it's gonna eat you up inside for the rest of your life.

Can two people who are total opposites make a relationship work .
Posted:
10/12/2009 2:12:36 PM
Of course they can if they're two intelligent open minded people who understand that everyone doesn't think the same and respect each others views and opinions. I actually wouldn't want to be around an ignorant person that thinks that everyone in the world has to think just like they do.Seriously, would you want to be with someone who had the same thought process as you and you agreed on everything? That would get boring real quick.

Something different for Christmas ...
Posted:
10/2/2009 3:48:10 PM
Don't get me wrong,I'm not questioning anyone's good intentions and the world need more of it.Not directed towards you OP
But...Why does it take Christmas or Thanksgiving to be giving and charitable? Why wait until Christmas? It was just announced today that 283,000 jobs were lost in September.I think the jobless rate is around 10% now. How about doing something now. Go through your closet and donate those clothes you wore one time. How about all those old kitchen appliances you have in the back of your counters. How many old cellphones do you have in a drawer somewhere, the agency for domestic violence against women has a program that distributes old cellphones to battered women.Charity can be done any day, don't wait until Christmas. :)

Does the weight of the Earth ever change?
Posted:
9/20/2009 2:37:03 PM
Every molecule in every one of these was here to begin with and would be here afterward. There would be no change in weight since nothing was added to the planet and nothing was taken away. All that changed was how it was organized.
That's what I was saying to someone.A person or material object just doesn't appear,it takes materials from the Earth to create it.
Even though now there is 6 billion people and cars and buildings...it all sucked supplies from the ground to be created.

If it were possible to put Earth on a scale and you could measure now and one million years ago, would there be a difference?
I think the only difference would be the incoming meteorites, etc that add weight to our planet.

Is your city bicycle friendly?
Posted:
9/18/2009 12:18:17 PM
I live in Alexandria,VA,right across the Potomac from D.C. There are bike lanes and paths here. D.C. also has plenty of bike lanes running downtown, along with paths all over the city. As part of the new Wilson bridge project, they included a nice bike/walk path so you can ride back and forth from Virginia into Maryland.Tons of bike riders in the D.C. area because we have the worst traffic in the country.Metrobuses have bike racks on the front of buses so that you can ride to the bus stop, strap your bike to the front of the bus,and then hop on the bus.

I haven't seen an arcade game in probably 10 years.Arcade games have always been way ahead of home consoles.I was just wondering if the 360/PS3 have finally surpassed the arcade games in graphics,complexity,etc... Especially with the availability of HDTV's and surround sound systems.

NFL in Europe?
Posted:
9/8/2009 1:14:33 PM
Will it work? They can't even get a team to work in L.A.
Football is big here and soccer is big there.I go to D.C. United games here and there is probably about 10,000 at each of the games.Real Madrid played the United at FedEx about a month ago and I think it may have been a sell-out.When Beckham came to town,it was a sell-out.So what if the Dallas Cowboys or Brett Favre showed up in England? Would the soccer fans come out in droves?
Discuss.

Defining generations post 1990
Posted:
9/5/2009 2:03:54 PM
I was listening to music from the 50's & 60's on YouTube and it got me thinking, what a great time to be alive.
So I started to think about how each decade was defined.
1920's- Start of The Great Depression,The Dust Bowl...hardship
1930's- End of The Great Depression,Industry takes off,America takes off
1940's- WWII,Patriotism and sacrifice
1950's- Hot Rods,Drive-ins,Skirts,Diners
1960's- Hippies,drugs,more great music,Vietnam,drugs
1970's- Disco,oil crisis,bell bottoms,afros
1980's- Teen movies, break dancing, bmx, hair bands, fall of the Berlin Wall and Communism
1990's- Nirvana
2000's- 9/11,Iraq/Afghanistan
2010's- ????
Will any decade ever have an identity again?

Redskins selling tickets to brokers
Posted:
9/3/2009 10:38:25 AM
"For more than 70 years, the Washington Redskins have boasted that they have sold out every game. Seats are so scarce, the team says, that the waiting list for general admission season tickets has 160,000 names on it.
But the reality is that those who want tickets can often find them online through ticket resellers such as StubHub. And in recent years, the Redskins ticket office itself has sold tickets into this secondary market, making it easier for fans of opposing teams to invade FedEx.
Thousands of general admission tickets were sold to brokers, who resold them on the secondary market, often at higher-than-retail prices, according to interviews and internal Redskin documents. These were often tickets to the very seats that Redskins fans have waited years to get.
The Redskins acknowledged that the sales were made but said they were against team policy.
Redskins General Counsel David Donovan said the prohibited sales were discovered in the spring during an internal audit of last season's ticket contracts and involved about 15 ticket brokering companies. He said the ticket sales employees involved were disciplined. He declined to name the employees or specify the discipline because it was a personnel matter.
"Somebody in the ticket office was doing something they shouldn't have been doing, and when it was discovered, it was all dealt with," Redskins Senior Vice President Karl Swanson said. "If the story is, this is a scandal, uncovered by Redskins, verified by The Post, or whatever, yeah, we're telling you: People got tickets who shouldn't have gotten tickets, and they were dealt with."
Donovan said Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder was unaware of sales to brokers. When he found out, Donovan said, "he was livid" and tried to have the accounts canceled immediately.
"When Mr. Snyder found out about it," Donovan said, "he made it clear to me that that was priority number one."
Snyder declined an interview request from The Post.
The Washington Post was able to document the sales by one ticket broker, ASC Ticket of Gaithersburg, which bought at least 5,000 tickets for nearly $600,000 during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, team records show. The tickets included 1,690 for general admission seats in the 100 sections of FedEx Field's lower bowl, among the most coveted seats in the stadium. "
I remember a Monday night game against the Steelers last year and almost half of FedEx were Steeler fans.
