Posted: 5/13/2009 9:22:40 AM My first post...hope I did it correctly! I still believe that there are some good men left! They are not standing on a street corner saying "I'm here" or waiting on you to pick you up. Many of them are right there in front of you. You've got to be able to define to yourself "What's a good man for YOU?" and not in the general sense of the job, house, car, etc., but how's your relationship with him, how do the two of you communicate, do you share similar interests (not all of them, but some to keep it interesting)? All of this should not fall on the man because he is only PART of the unit, the couple, "us" or whatever you choose to call the relationship. Also, ladies, we do have to take a long hard look at ourselves. Are we READY for him when he comes along (he's probably been there BUT we didn't notice it). This is not to say that some guys are faking, because you're going to experience that as well.
