Mother's Day Country Night Celebration at the Lakeland Airport on May 10th Posted: 5/9/2013 12:34:42 PM
People often sign up for dances just to get their face on the page and be noticed....I have seen people signed up for Jacksonville and Miami on the same night! I'm a hostess too, and the people who sign up aren't always the ones who show up, but the numbers are usually close for mine. The best thing to do is invite some nice people you'd like to meet so that you would be assured a good time. This weekend is going to be a busy one with Mother's Day, Mayfair and 2 parties going on.

There is a dance in downtown Lakeland which I am hosting March 16th.....Please look us up....We are the "SASSY CLASSY ST PAT'S" dance / party.......I see you can do some "real dances"...there will be people there who can 2-step and waltz....Maybe a nice gent will even teach you a new dance or 2 ! This is a nice place, so most of the people are well dressed.....Many will probably wear "After five" or semi- formal dresses since it's Valentines Theme....But I don't think you'd look very pretty in a dress. Men usually wear dress pants or dockers-style, but there is no dress code, so there could be some jeans. It's a good opportunity for those who like to "dress to impress"

Yes, Robb you have definitely found the right place! .....All our favorite POFers will be there, along with the other good friends we have made....I must warn you though, there is a Beer Fest in the park nearby, so it might be a good idea to come extra early for good parking. Thanks ladies, that name is correct, but there is no sign hanging over the sidewalk as with the other businesses.....It is easier to find by looking for the number over the door....That is why it is listed that way. They have weekly dances and we are invited to take part at a reduced price, so be sure to mention "Sassy Classy" or POF.

Bachelorsheaven, I'm not sure "Blast" would describe our gatherings...There is no smoke and usually no alcohol...We rely upon our wit, personality, intelligence and dancing expertise to have fun...And believe me, there are plenty of those qualities present, so we DO have FUN!....There are numerous bars within a block of the place, so for any who must drink - it would not be a wasted trip. Ret, you are TOO much!...I'm not sure about CENTERFOLDS....But there IS a former NFL CHEERLEADER who ATTENDS these dances regularly! :)

It worked for others here in October.....I haven't didn't host a party between July - Dec 29th.....The Events Moderator thought it was fixed and wrote me to send her the thread if it wasn't.....Maybe others should do the same ?

Perhaps I Should add that there is not a bar at this location.....Sometimes there is wine, courtesy of the venue, but not usually.....We are also "Diabetic friendly" and will have some sugar-free punch & snacks for those who need them.

Ladies, try not to feel bad about the sign up. It's just a very busy weekend.....People are probably trying to figure out what to do....Perhaps they will decide to come to at least some of your party, if not all. You know how it goes, so many come who do not sign up...Maybe some of the single people from the lounge will get curious & join you. You'll have fun regardless, I'm sure.
