Looking for a Lover, not a Father
Posted: 3/11/2006 11:34:20 AM
I too respect fathers who say they have children....but I think that it would be best if single fathers look for single mothers...because they would have that common ground. Knowing full well that each others kids will be first in their lives.

I myself don't have kids, I do want them someday, but I would prefer to be seeing a single childless man, and if all goes well, make him a man with children.

"All Wiccans are Pagan but not all Pagans are Wiccan".

I have to agree to disagree with that comment.

Do we have a soul? or is it in our head?
Posted: 3/8/2006 9:53:20 PM
Well if we look at it this way, we have the big bang theory, and we have the evolution theory, and the creation theory. Now I am not saying one is better than the other....however. Science has provided us with some very interesting details about the theory of evolution, but then again, there could have been the chemical reaction that caused the big bang, in which our whole universe came to be. The only thing that I can't understand is the whole creation theory. It is seriously impossible for one man and one woman to populate the whole world, if that is the case then we would all be brother and sister, and Eve would not only be our mother, but aunt, cousin, sister, and so on and so forth. And of course the bible does say that Incest is wrong
[Baptised Christian, so I don't mind speaking on the subject]

But now the question here lies, where on earth did that one particle of dust come from, to cause possibly the big bang, in which the pile of ooze formed into our evolution theory?

So if we get to the original question at hand.....do we have a soul, well I would like to think we do, because once our bodies decompose, I would like to believe that our essence does go to a higher form of existence.

At least that is my belief.

Does perfect love really exist?

but I do think everyone has a soulmate but I dont think u always end up with them in the end

But wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the soulmate? Are not two souls meant to be with each other???

Have you ever experienced love at first site??
Posted: 3/8/2006 1:32:24 PM
I don't believe in love at first site....only lust. I doubt it is possible for someone to love someone at first site, unless it is your mom who popped you out, but then again she had 9 months to brew you, so it wasn't exactly love at first site is it??

So I would have to say love at first site...nope, only lust.

I have three tatts, and I love them all. Two of them are on my back, and I have one on my front. My suggesstion to you is this. First figure out where you want to put it, for example, do you work in an environment where tatts are frowned upon? If so then you will need to put it somewhere where it can be hidden. But if your work environment doesn't care, then you have your choice of places. My personal favorite for guys, is right across their back. For example eagle wing spand from elbow across their back to the other elbow, or maybe you want to get an arm band.

Second thing is.....do you want something that has religious meaning to you, or do you want something that is totally unique? You might want to have it designed for you. But for ones first tatt, you might want to go small, and possibly grow bigger and grow from your first tatt.

That way you can see what it will look like.

That is at least my suggestion.

Perfect love?
Posted: 3/8/2006 1:03:44 PM
Good gosh....I go to bed on a beautiful thought about love, and I come back to check the thread, and religion comes up.

I must have missed the boat or something.

Or am I to assume that religion plays a part in Perfect love? Hm......and interesting thought. I personally disagree.

I know atleast that it is in Corinthians. It is timeless and it is classic. For those that believe and those that do not....if nothing else that is beautiful poetry.

Thanks

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

I used to love that saying. Which verse is that from? From which part of the bible???

Poetry

I have to say poetry is a release for me. I have been published twice, and I shall share one of them with you.

A Moment in Time

A Moment in Time is a moment of clarity
A feeling when you finally understand,
What it was you were searching for.
Seeing ghosts of the past walk by you.

A moment is all it takes.
It is a connection between two people
It is a glance from your first love.
It is a feeling of your first kiss, so soft and sweet.

A moment can be forever, and yet so fast.
It is the miracle of instant love,
When the nurse places you in your mothers’ arms.
A touch of your mothers’ hand, upon your child like face.

A moment can pass you by,
Life, is but a moment

what happened to the code

I would have to agree....however, why give money they are just going to use it to buy booze or drugs. Why not buy them a coffee or food, at least your conscious is clear, and you aren't contributing to their destruction.

Does perfect love really exist?

I honestly can't believe how many people responded to my little question. I was very interested to read the various posts. I had made up this saying that I have started to believe in. It is sad that I am actually believing in what I am saying, but may ya'll might ponder the quote.

[bold]"Love is a chemical balance gone wrong!"[/bold]

If you think about it, what is love. I mean it really is a state of euphoria, dealing with hormones, and pheramones.

However, what Cedarone, has said seems to make sense on the first page. I understand what he is saying. But I just can't see that there could be a perfect Love.

Hi folks. I recently had coffee with a friend of mine. Well he says that there is really perfect love, and he wont settle for anything less. What is everyones views? Do you think that there is actually a soulmate out there for each of us, or are we all doomed? Just curious on everyones thoughts. Is it Yeah , or Nay ?
