Did you ever write/receive a hand written & delivered note asking out on a date?
Posted: 12/17/2012 11:42:21 AM
I got one when I was about 19/20. A guy I snogged and who walked me home one night..Didn't invite him in at all, anyway I got this note 'To the girl with the plaits ( my hair plaited then). It read something like wanting to see me again and so on..

I really want to give a Teacher at my sons school a xmas card, think he must have something to do with Music. They have a school of rock band that did xmas songs.. He is soooo my type, talented and would be understanding of kids with different needs ( my son has ADHD and Autism (higher functioning) ).. I need to find out his name I think..:look

Slightly autistic guys? Can women get one with them well enough to date?
Posted: 12/9/2012 8:59:12 AM
My son is on the Autistic spectrum and has ADHD, i can imagine him making someone a cool bf or hubby when he is older. He has a great sense of humour at only 11, so in 10 or so years time who's to say. He isn't on the severe end of Autism either.

So if the person is balanced with someone they like then why not date anyone , not being interested in what the idiots have to say about society etc..

Mitt is so utterly dense. Also Gangnam style Obama is much better than Romeny's!

Circumcision. Is this a barbaric practice.>?
Posted: 7/16/2012 10:53:50 AM
My brother was circumcised when he was a baby.

It is meant to reduce cervical cancer in women as part of a sexual relationship.

Also if done on a whim when someone is older, then I would question the reasons and mental stability.

Ladies look but don't reply...
Posted: 6/30/2012 3:30:55 AM
It all depends on the message quality.

I had one nice looking bloke offer me his number after 3 messages( all in one day and that being the first day we typed) using an excuse of this site wears my phone battery out.

Another just asked what am i up to and where am i from.

Maybe it's due to not being that interested in online dating these days or the fact i prefer someone to read my profile. Comment on that and we can go from there.

Ladies Who Go To The Gym.
Posted: 5/20/2012 2:46:24 AM
I have started back at the gym as i like the cardio machines. Muscle bound groaning men are really not my type, they make me feel ill to be fair. It is like ManoWar or a Mr Square..no thanks

Prefer to feel tired from doing something , rather than sweet FA.

I love bright colours on mens heads. I once kinda dated a guy with lagoon blue hair, it went so well with his icy blue eyes.. God he was so sexy!

Risky or Risque'
Posted: 5/11/2012 5:37:11 AM
See the OP is an advid BGT or BGMorons programme. I usually avoid that tripe, but when Beatrix von Bourbon performed i watched it on itvplayer. OK i skipped the other crap acts, inc all the moronic kid ones.

Burlesque is an art form, its only sleazy strip bars that give stripping a bad name etc. I would love to learn Burlesque, if i had the confidence the performers have over their bodies.

Haha

I could drop my son or his jacket( as i always end up carrying it for him everywhere).

So lets say i 'drop' something and he assists me. What do i say then.. or do i smile like an idiot.

Ah well, i have said hi to him and so on. So maybe i could mention the lovely weather...Gah why is this so awkward!

Some smarmy charmer was messaging me with the xxxxxxxxx at the end and i mentioned the anointed xxx. He never replied...haha

The Right Signals
Posted: 4/25/2012 6:12:16 AM
To save me making a new thread i will hit on the signal idea here.

Ok the scenario is i walk to school with my son, almost everyday( when i am on time) i walk past a rather lovely looking guy who goes to work near where we past him.

It has progressed from not much too sidelong glances, to full on looking and now smiling. So knowing i have a child that gets that out the way.

So with this mutual attraction, how do i take the opportunity of asking his name. At least name, or number and/or facebook thingy. He seems younger than me, he must gather i am older.

I really don't want to loose the opportunity to speak, as i did so with another man many years ago and it annoyed me ever since. Knowing my son goes to High School this Sept and gets a minibus there and back. So i won't have a reason to walk there at school time ish.

I am with msg 2 on this one, as far from being perfect i don't seek the idol. Though just someone who i could just be with to stop me from being single..

Maybe its called being fussy, but why settle for someone whom would not be right for me in the long term.

Like i mentioned in previous threads, even if someone has an issue like dyslexia
.It does not mean they have to use text speak or end it with tons of xxxx..

Find it hard to even want to start replying to some twat who calls me babe and litters my inbox with annoying xxxxx and 'How r u .'

I feel sorry for their teenage children if they have any...

Parents and Old Age

My Granddad is a few years away from a telegram, and has now got senile dementia. My Nan had a stroke and got it, though she was in her late 80's.
My Dad died when he was 49, from a heart attack.
