We (the reprebates on the sidelines) all had a great night .. I was just sorry I wasnt able to last the whole evening and had to leave earlier than I would have really liked
I really wouldnt worry about the numbers .. I have to say it was not noticed .. the dancefloor was busy all night and everyone was enjoying themselves.

I dont know how you can say that us Pompey girls are mad!! Although we do like to let our hair down and have a good time!
And sure enough this meet didnt disappoint in any way shape or form! I had a cracking night with so many laughs .. lots of singing (if somewhat off key) .. and lots of chesticle huggy moments thrown in for good measure! (which I have to say I did rather enjoy and only put up a fight to make it look good hehehe)
This is one meet I really look forward to now ... its so fantastic to see the numbers growing each month and to see new friendships being formed.
Well done Gary .. your hosting techniques are top rate with making sure everyone is always interacting with someone else .. no one is EVER left on their own!
I have just one teeny question though ......
When is the next one??????

I really wouldnt worry about your age group .. the're are loads of people that attend in all different age ranges .. if you still have some concerns bring along a couple of your mates as well .. after all this meet is just a social night down the pub, and definitely NOT a singles meat market pick up joint.
Looking forward to another great night down the G&D

female piercings help and advice please
Posted:
9/27/2009 1:59:10 AM
Genital piercings are not always the horror stories you hear about.. If you're thinking of a labia piercing, my option would be go for the outta as the inner can stretch quite alot after a period of time .. remember all piercings will migrate over time and stretch regardless where they are.
As for pain levels .. the outta hurts slightly more than having the inner done .. but both heal just as quick .. you just have to keep the area as dry as possible and well aired (so no tight jeans!)
If your looking at a cl1toral one then chose wisely .. a hood piercing will be fine and you will not lose any sensativity at all as this only goes through the hood itself .. if you want the cl1t done then you can have a vertical or horizontal piercing done and this can sometimes lessen the sensativity in that area .. it doesnt always happen but it CAN do.
Hope some of this helps.

Single women prefer married men! (It's true)
Posted:
8/15/2009 7:07:01 AM
Oh thats a simple one to answer ..
You get all the fun without the dirty socks in the morning!!
On a more serious note though .. women will tend to go for attached men (some of the time) especially if they just want a no strings and no hassle relationship .. doesn't mean that its any less meaningful its just different needs being fulfilled from each other. Some single people value their own independance and have no wish to be in a 24/7 kind of relationship .. but at the end of the day each of us has the need for some personal interaction regardless of where (or how) it is accomodated.

... or am I thinking of something totally different there I wonder ... hmmmmm

Women will fight in 2012

I have to say I nearly cheered upon hearing the decision to allow female fighters at the olympics!
I have seen a few female bouts and I have to say these women are pretty damm clued up on the dynamics of the whole sport.
I saw Nicola Adams come forward to claim a silver medal at the world championships and she was pretty dam awesome.
but I admit I would much rather watch the men ... *as my mind goes running off on a tangent*

What an absolutely fantastic night!! Well done John and Adelle for hosting an awesome night and a big virtual kiss to the ever handsome DJ for knocking out some seriously good tunes.
My jaws ache sooooooo much from laughing we all had such a great time. (and yes I was sober due to being the driver for the night).
Talk about an increase in numbers .. the word is certainly spreading that this is definitely a fantastic meet! And I have to say that there were certainly some very yummy people there last night .. but me being my quiet and shy self *cough* just peeked at them from a distance.
I did walk away with an injury last night though .. a bar stool got tipped up and slammed onto my foot, which this morning is four times its size and a lovely purple colour .. ouch!!
Although I did have a couple of offers to kiss it better.
Roll on next month is what I say!!

The bizarre and fetish scene
Posted:
8/5/2009 11:05:15 AM
Its a case of each to their own.
What no one has actually picked up on here though and those that are into the alternative side of sexual activities play alongside others that actually want to .. in other words everything is consensual .. its two people both agreeing on what is and what isn't acceptable. Anyone who is into alternative sex will NEVER force their own preferences upon anyone else .. this I can 100% gaurantee.
I have been to fetish/BDSM clubs before and believe me you get groped a hell of a lot less than in a regular dance club, where drunked fools spill drinks all down your nice new top.
The respect towards others in the fetish clubs is above and beyond anything I have ever encountered in my life.
So would it put me off ?? quite simply no.
I find it highly disturbing that people brand these fetishists with a lable of being "weird and freaky". To them those that are of the "vanilla" nature are far more weird and freaky than they ever could be.
Now .. can I please have some strawberries with my vanilla

The only thing that is coming across as weird here is your obvious obsession with what ever it is that your neighbours are doing in their own home.
Surely if your curiosities are at such a high level, why dont you just ask your neighbours about what they are doing. From what you describe it sounds like they are a group of fetishists and or possibly BDSMers.
If its not effecting you directly then leave be .. if the noise is becoming too much of a distraction because so many are getting there end away and having fun and your sat there wishing you could have a piece of the action, then why dont you just go and ask them politely to be slightly more considerate to the immediate neighbourhood.
Whatever form of dress they wish to wear does not take away the fact that these are people that can be approached and spoke to normally without having to wear a label that narrow-minded people tag them with.

Well done on hosting your first meet Gary! You did a grand job.
We had a great time and only sorry that we had to leave before the end due to one of my friends feeling poorly.
WOW .. some of you guys can really sing! I didn't have my singing voice in tact sadly, but we're hoping (well planning actually) on attending the next meet so be warned if I get hold of the mic.
I will say to others out there .. if your prepared to travel a bit to these meets its definitely well worth it .. even though we were not local to this event we got talking to some great people and it was well worth the drive for such a great night!
We saw some great sights throughout the day, after spending most of it down in Brighton for the Pride Parade, and some rather interesting sights were also seen during the evening .. cheers for those Gary!!

The Silent Treatment
Posted:
7/26/2009 5:07:58 AM
I am actually another one of those women that is completely unable to give the silent treatment .. for one (as previously mentioned numerous times) its childish and totally pathetic (I left school a long time ago now) .. if there is an issue I would much rather address it immediately in an adult fashion.
I find it hard to actually bawl someone out, instead I tend to make fun of a growly, scowly and yelling guy by saying something to break the anger (along the lines of "oooooh you make me horny when your mad .. fancy a shag?") hehehehe .. it works more often than not as what on earth could anyone say to that .. so the anger vanishes and a calmer exterior takes it place which makes being able to talk without raw emotion alot more rewarding.

What do you do with one line answers?

You mean when you DO get actually get a reply!
Otherwise the one line answers tend to get kicked to one side .. as I think someone else on here mentioned .. its like pulling teeth trying to extract a conversation out of some people.

TJ .. thats a tad harsh in them there words sir!
OP .. I would first find out why children of nursery school age were allowed to play outdoors on play equipment unsupervised, as I'm pretty certain that children of infant and primary school age need to have adult supervision while playing outdoors at all times.
IMO I would ask for a meeting with the nursery staff and get reassurances that "accidents" like this wont happen again to your child or any other.
At the end of the day though kids do tend to bounce back very quick from play ground traumas and as there was no serious harm done (thank goodness) I would make sure that the nursery school was aware of your concerns and that the accident itself has been properly logged in an incident book.

Rejuvi Cream
Posted:

I would be cautious as well using something advertised as being "new" and "the next generation of of skin rejuvination".
Surely though if you have already had 6 lazer sessions the tattoo in question should already be starting to fade?
The thing with lazer treatment it works on focussing upon the dark pigments of the skin, so the darker the area to be treated the more painful it is going to be.
Could you not ask about applying a local anesthetic cream before treatment to numb the area?
I know lazer treatment is expensive (been there done that) but its carried out with a strict protocol and by professionaly trained people. Just be careful about entering into new treatments before doing your research .. you could maybe even ask your GP or practise nurse if they have heard of it?

Paranoia and the power of the internet.
Posted:
7/4/2009 7:08:53 AM
I must admit to having one seriously bad date a few years ago ..
I got chatting to this guy (from another site) and first meet was really nice and relaxed so he invited me for second date the following week (ok so far) .. we met in a fairly local pub to me and again all seemed well. After he asked if I would like a meal at his place the following week .. yes why not. So the following week off I went to his place. As promised he cooked a gorgeous meal.
It was only afterwards that his mood changed .. I was sitting on the sofa quite happy drinking coffee when he pinned me down, making all kind of demands (which I wont go into on here) needless to say I hit the panic button in my head and got out of there as fast as I could!
What surprised me the most was that this guy changed so quickly from being "Mr Nice Guy" to a crazed individual who was making very threatening and highly sexual demands in a matter of minutes.
Obviously it hasnt stopped me dating guys from the internet .. but I am a lot more wary now.

Help me get it
Posted:
6/14/2009 6:40:50 AM
IMHO it sounds like (at the time he proposed ect) that he felt he was giving you what you wanted .. or maybe needed.
Men have this chivalrous attitude where they DO like to rush in and do the big "I'll rescue and protect you" bit .. what is sounds like to me is that at the time he proposed he did genuinely mean it, but the fear of the high level of commitment he has announced has sunk in and hes hit the panic button and run away.
Hes nothing unusual I have to say .. the only thing I could say to you is that try not to think on what he may be doing right now or your own paranoias will fill in the empty spaces for you and will end up causing all manner of highly negative thoughts for you. Instead try to be kind to yourself and possibly accept that his reasons for running off may never be known to you. He may still contact you with an explanation, but dont sit and wait for one.
All the very best to you though .. its a cruel life we sometimes enter to. Keep your strength and be kind to yourself.

Is sexy mainly a looks thing?
Posted:

In every single individual there is always something sexy to look at. The more you see that "one thing" the more you start disabling the other bits that dont attract you.
Men that can think fast on their feet and can hold an intellegent conversation without having to resort to smut is something that I find extremely sexy. Of course theres nothing wrong with cheeky inuendos .. stimulate my mind and the rest of me will follow!

I cant speak for women as a whole .. but I certainly dont ask that. I am far more curtious .. I tend to say "how would like me to take you to heaven between sheets of satin?" hehe (oh for those of you challenged in the humour department .. I am kidding there)
Although .. I can honestly say that YES men do come out as blatant as that and ask. My "blocked" list is gaining in numbers!

Ive just been listening to my 8 year old daughter singing her head off while shes sat in the middle of the lawn picking daisies.
When I asked her what she was doing her reply was "mummy .. I am singing because today is a lovely day"
That childhood innocence certainly made me smile .. inside and out!

a few extra pounds, is this a bit vague?
Posted:
5/18/2009 11:18:18 AM
Being one of those women that have checked the "few extra pounds" box I feel I can reply to this one.
Why did I chose that option? Simply because there was no other relevant option there .. I wouldnt class myself as a BBW, although some may indeed see me that way .. I guess if the option of "short and dumpy" was there then that would have been my option. I would definately say I am carrying more than a few extra pounds .. hell yes indeed and I make it no secret to those that are in contact with me .. Im a size 18 in general, but sometimes bigger tops are needed (just out of interest but would you also like bust size included?? its a 40G for the record) .. but should I really have to declare that on my profile for those of a shallow being and the insight of a dead amoeba? I dont think so!
Im just going to presume that to keep everything PC and to avoid offending or making anyone self conscious then thats why that option is there.
