How long do you wait to delete that number.

Ok, I was just going through my cell phone's phonebook today and thought of what I think is an interesting question. How long does everyone wait until they delete the number of someone who's 'disappeared' ? There are 2 girls whom I've been talking to and both have decided to stop returning phone calls and text messages. The last contact with one was about 3 weeks ago. The last contact with the other was 3 days ago but considering she has since deleted me as her friend on a certain popular social networking site I figure I have my answer that she isn't interested. So i'm going to say my answer is about 3 weeks till that person's number goes bye bye. What about everyone else? I'm interested in hearing everyone's answers.

Thanks you go first, done and done.
And thanks Karen, but what's wrong with it now? You don't like younger men?

Hey people,
I just made a couple changes to my profile and here I am asking for another review. Anyone care to share some input?
Is it good? Do you wanna claw out your eyes? My eyes? Are there any changes I should make? I'm hoping for some good feedback. Thanks y'all.

iPhone / iPod Touch OS 3.0 update is today

I updated to 3.0 and I have to say there are some nice and much needed additions. One I really like that wasn't mentioned is a proper call log. In your recent calls it lists every call you made and the duration of each. I'm still contemplating going back to my jailbroken version 2.2.1 so I can have my custom test tones and email alerts, until a jailbreak for 3.0 is available. But for doork. If you go to settings and scroll down to ipod, you can turn off shake to shuffle.

Girls making the first move???
Posted:

I'm all for it. I admit i'm old fashioned in a lot of ways, flower on the first date, being a gentleman, but I don't see anything wrong with the girl making the first move, moves. As something_witty mentioned. Guys can be dense and have trouble picking up signals. It's like trying to listen to AM radio, you have to hunt a while to pick up a signal in all that static and don't blink or you might miss it. I like girls that are confident enough to make the first move.

That sounds like fun. Maybe I'll see some of you down there. But if you're lucky you'll be gone if I decide to sing, aka, butcher songs. :)

Do You Men Read Our Whole Profiles?
Posted:
5/24/2009 11:06:05 AM
In response to the original question, I always read the whole profile, although I do admit to sometimes skimming through the list of interests if there's like more than 20. Here's an interesting question. In general how strict are you with what you're asking for. Such as, if you state you're looking for someone 5'9 or taller, would you give someone who's 5'8 or even 5'7 a chance. And if you say the age range your looking for is 29-36, would you respond to a 28 yr old? And if so where do you "draw the line". On another site I had that I was looking for a 25-33 yr old. But received messages from some as young as 22 and as old as 35 and I decided to respond because I liked they're profiles. I think the youngest I would go out with is a 22 yr old who's very mature. I'm not quite sure at what age my upper limit is, maybe 40. Anyone else care to chime in?

I personally have been holding my pole for a long time. Be nice to have someone else hold it with me.
LMAO! I'm gonna be laughing about that one all day. Very nice.

Eharmony - Knowing What You Are Buying ?
Posted:
5/24/2009 9:28:17 AM
I must be one of the luckier ones. Granted I'm still single so I haven't been THAT lucky, but I've been on eHarmony for almost 2 years and I've gotten to the phone call stage with a bunch of people from there. Even met a few people. Perhaps my filter is set more loosely, but I get an average of 5-10 matches A DAY. Half of which are within 30-40 miles of me, which is an acceptable distance. One of the easy things I like about the site is the first stage of communication the closed ended questions are the easiest thing ever to initiate communication. You don't have to "think" of what to write to someone, just click send questions, and wait for them to answer the multiple choice questions which are just as easy to answer, and still allow you a blank space to write out your own answer. And there is always the fast track communication where you can skip the guided steps and go straight to open communication. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not promoting the site. Once my year subscription is up in June I will not be renewing, but there are some things I do like about how the site operates. I had no idea about POF until a month ago when I went out with someone(through eHarmony ironically) told me about this site and that it was free. So when that relationship didn't work out I joined this site. I definitely like this site, but have to get used to writing first messages again and getting them to stand out from the 100's of messages a day girls must be getting.

Hey there,
Ok so I'll keep it short and sweet. I just joined this site not too long ago and I am looking for any advice on how I can improve my profile.
I've got a bunch of views and sent a quite a few messages, but keep getting the "read deleted" deal. And haven't gotten any first messages to me yet. Thanks.
