And still deal with the resentments and behaviors of the child(ren)? None of the points you seem to be trying to make are valid b/c every single thing you said are the same or worse for the single mother as they are for the part-time father with the exception that the part-time parent has some recuperation time to work or play more, and the single, primary parent does not! It doesn't sound like that deadbeat would know how to be a parent, even if he had no other choice!!! Anyone can donate money, that does not make him a parent. My ex is the same way, except without the financial support. But I believe what goes around comes around. I mean, virtually every single profile I've seen says "nice guy", "honest guy" or "good guy" but does anyone even use real manners? Does anyone reply, "no thank you" when they are not interested, or send a message or a phone call when they say they will or just use proper etiquette on this site at all? (Most of the people can't even spell.) To me, that would be quite "nice" to experience. I guess I've just been out of the loop too long or maybe I'm just too old. (Is 42 really that old, I don't feel that old. LOL!!)
