You know, I have a hard time believing that anyone would accept advice about relationships from a priest who has vowed to abstain from women. It's like asking for advice on how to raise children from someone who has been convicted of a sex crime.

I don't seriously believe that men are serious about marrying a virgin. While I'm a virgin, it's not a priority for me to get married to a virgin. It's just delusional to think that this is a strong motivational factor. Personally, I'd just be happy if the woman I was intent on marrying would just be happy that I would want to spend the rest of my life with her.

JH, why are you with this loser? The reason why I say that your BF is a loser is because he must be really unsecure with himself if he has a problem with your flirting. Flirting is a natural act that is conducted by members of both sexes. While I've only dated once in my 43 years on this planet, I find it deplorable that you are with someone who is totally against you flirting in public especially when he has no problem flirting with other women. The fact that he looked at your friends' nipples just proves this fact. Flirting doesn't have to be verbal, the fact that he noticed the nipples on your friend is testamount to that. I think you should tell your BF how you feel and that if he isn't confortable with how you act among your friends or how you flirt that he needs to find someone else who prefers to be subservient to his desires.
