Finally as I had suspected I found out he cheated on me not just once but six times! My lady I say it's time to move on.

I think maybe the guy needs to be beated up a few times so he doesn't forget what he did, after all you would have to be pretty stupid to leave an animal in a car for any reason be it cold or hot.

Satanism
Posted: 6/30/2008 4:57:16 PM
To me Satanists are really just Humanists, if you've done some reading you'd understand. Often they are confused with Daemonolators - who are actually people who believe demons are humankinds benefactors and not evil at all.
Satan translated just means Opposer or Challenger. And refers to a class of angels led by Lucifer.

Anyway, I'm out. Gonna throw some salt around just in case.

How much authority does a security guard have?
Posted: 6/30/2008 5:54:23 AM
I used to work as a security guard, bouncer and body guard. In all three cases yes I was well trained but never actually properly liscensed. I was very naive about it at the time and worked all three positions under one company that said don't worry etc.

You would be surprised but there are really very few actually liscensed security guards out there, these liscenses are handled by the OPP.

It wasn't until a few fellow guards got in high trouble that we learned that the company was engaged in illegal activity, they even had us armed with ASPS and Pepper Spray for the night clubs and various jobs we worked at.

You are not allowed to search someone unless they give you permission to do so. You are not allowed to beat them up, only defend yourself and try to restrain them but never harm them. There have been cases where people have died from being improperly restrained by inexperienced people, even handcuffing a highly agitated person can kill them!

That security guard's behaviour was over the top no matter how much he/she thought the kid deserved it. Most guards are only allowed to call the police by thier companies and to not actually intervene unless they have a specific liscense and training in police procedure etc.

So beware what kind of crap a security company might feed you about a liscence before getting that job in security, they guys I knew were held directly liable and the company and company owner vanished. It was serious, a person was shot and killed in this case but by a patron and not a guard.

In the case of a night club we are not actually allowed to touch you, only escort you out. Ask the bouncer if he/she has a security guard liscence if they do, chances are they don't in which case you can charge them for assault if they touch you!

smoking ban in ontario
Posted: 6/29/2008 4:42:55 PM
What I'd really like to know is where are the people that are supposed to be enforcing these bans, handing out tickets?

It's pretty perturbing when you have to walk through a throng of smokers to get into the drug store for your prescription inhalers.

In fact when are they gonna come up with smell laws? Stinky people with way too much perfume on should be faced with even stiffer penalties than the smokers!

Son going in for testing.. any advice Ontario oriented?
Posted: 8/15/2007 2:07:01 PM
They thought I had ADHD and the teachers wanted to put me on Ritalin. I also had serious behavioural problems in relation to other children bullying me.

Then they discovered I had food allergies when I was 8 years old! Got rid of most of the foods I am allergic to and my concentration and behaviour improved DRASTICALLY! Been trying to deal with the environmental allergies allergies as well but food is easier to do. LOL!

Also it wasn't discovered until I was 15 that I have Cerebral Palsy and a myraid of learning disabilities such as Discalclia and medical disabilities which is why I was such a frustrated child. Today no one can really tell unless I tell them. My ability to walk, talk etc has been attributed to my playing drums from an early age. People can seem perfectly normal on the outside until some little sign says hey get a catscan on that kid. I occassionally have really mild seizures, I thought this was normal until a school nurse caught it. I'm also abnormally strong so that helped hide problems as well. LOL!

I once suggested to a friend to get her son tested for allergies. She did so immediately and within a month her son was an absolute angel! She still thanks me to this day for the change in her son and all I did was tell her about me having food allergies and what it did to me.

Get him tested for food allergies, it only takes a few minutes.... You may discover that he is allergic to citric acid which is found in most foods. All you do is cut down on foods high in it such as oranges and lemons and you'll see.

And yes I too was frustrated by having to sit through other kids slowly and painfully making thier way through books that only took me moments to read. I was reading by kindergarten thanks to my keen interest in stories, poems and music.

After that go out and buy him a drumkit, having a drumkit helps me tonnes! :D

Would you leave a friend stranded?
Posted: 8/14/2007 6:59:05 PM

I sincerely hope you never find yourself in a similar situation and have to eat your words. They're not very tasty at all.

I have found myself in those very same situations MANY times and not one damn one of those people I helped at all hours of the night costing me a job, place to live etc etc Not a one of them EVER returned the favour. This is why I am bitter and have come to realise that I can not count on my friends or anyone else AT ALL.

And believe it or not there are people who have serious medical problems, like myself; who do require a minimum amount of sleep EVERY day otherwise we can not function at work and become ill enough to require medical attention.

I helped a friend one night, she kept me out all night over a boyfriend that just dumped her. I went to work after having no sleep. I became ill and the boss was understanding. Then she did it two more times the same week. I lost my job over her. Then I asked her if I could stay with her until I got another job and she flat out said no.

How about the time a friend got nastey because him, perfectly sober wanted me to hop into my car completely drunk to drive him to a friend's house!

I could list all the things people have done to me in the way of not returning favours when I desperately need them returned. Such as needing to go to the hospital because of an asthma attack after coming in contact with perfume. Needing something to eat etc etc etc.

You eventually realise that the only person that you can really depend on in this world is yourself.

Stupid me I keep helping people and can't seem to stop, it's in my nature. And every time it comes back to bite me in the a$$ one way or another. It really hurts when the same people you help won't lift a finger when you need help. Yet you are always expected to help them.

Anytime I go anywhere I'm smart enough to have money on me for a cab because I have even been ditched at bars out of town because a friend met a guy and took them home without thinking I need to go home too.

LONGHORNS in Oshawa!
Posted: 8/13/2007 9:59:47 PM
10 Years ago I drove a girl to the hospital one hour after going to Longhorns for a botched belly button peircing that also immediately became infected with Cellulitis.

8 Years ago another friend and her neice went there even after I warned them about stories I have heard and had them talk to the girl with the botched bellybutton. She now almost looks like she has no bellybutton. They went anyway and got large tattoos on thier calves because supposedly thier cousin worked there or reccomended the place or something. Thier legs got some kind of weird weeping infection, no pus; it was this yellowy all watery leaking from the tattoos. All the colour came out except for some blue ink here and there which now kind of looks like vericose veins on thier calves unless you look really close. I don't know why blue was the only colour that seemed to stay in. The tats were actually quite lovely until the infections that came on that same day. I was with them when the infections happened so it wasn't like they weren't careful.

I get my peircings done at Stainless Studios in downtown Toronto on Queen street. My tattoos are done by a trusted friend who does practice proper sterilisation techniques. My Micro Pigmentation was done at Moonshin Tattoo on 95 Dundas St.

Things that women consider to be annoying
Posted: 8/13/2007 9:33:24 PM
I would like a Nice Guy but not a guy claiming he is a nice guy.

I learned a very harsh lesson not too long ago in regard to guys claiming they are nice guys and whining about women not wanting nice guys etc etc.

ALL jerks start off as "Nice Guys" which is why you see alot of women with jerks. We get reeled in by them pretending to be nice and then once they have us fall in love with them.... WHAMMO

I was treated very badly by a guy who was whining about the whole Nice Guys Finish Last line using it for sympathy, going on and on about how women only want jerks and he'll be lonely forever. He went on about how horrible his life is and how women don't want guys who are fat etc. I actually like chubby guys but that's besides the fact. Little did I know he was also using this line on six other women while he was going out with me.

So now.... as soon as I see a guy whining about Nice Guys Finish Last... I run!

A Nice guys shows me he is a Nice guy, not tells me he's a Nice Guy
A Nice guy opens doors for me
A Nice guy shares his feelings with me
A Nice guy is not afraid of showing affection
A Nice guy will remember my birthday and Valentines day etc.
A Nice guy will do something special with or for me at least once a month or maybe give me surprises.
A Nice guy will invite me to play his video games with him instead of making me watch him play video games.
A Nice Guy will have sex with me at least 4 times a week
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Also, you ever notice that the guys that whine about nice guys finishing last are aiming for women they can't have? You know what kind I'm talking about....Shallow Hals looking for Barbie because plain Jane is just not good enough or is too chubby? I've been told by guys like this that the fact that I am 5'9 and a solid 200 pounds and stronger than the average man that they find this very intimidating which is why they are not interested in me. These supposed "Nice Guys" want frail little bony sickly women that sit on thier a$$ all day and do nothing instead of a healthy speciman like myself! They won't settle for less! I've actually had guys I like moan about all these skinny broads that they like and why are all the good women with jerks etc.

I have been rejected so many times that I no longer approach men anymore, it hurts to much when you ask a guy out on a date and he tells you he's interested in your gorgeous skinny little friend who is already going out with someone else.

I learned my lesson. The nice guys will show me that thier nice guys, not tell me that they are nice guys. The guys that tell you they are nice and whine about women only wanting jerks are actually abusive and turn out to be those jerks!

Nice GIRLS finish last!

I would say that the reason they are not posting what they do in thier profile because they don't want some shallow gold digger coming after them or rejecting them before getting to know them.

As for prostitutes it's only the females that make that kind of money, had a few friends back in the day that did that stuff. The guys only make an average of $20-$50 per John/Jane.

Um... Taxi?

Push the buttons on the phone or cellphone and call a taxi? Phones still work the same these days for calling a cab right?

Was there a reason why a Taxi could not be called at any time?

Believe me I've always had to call taxis despite driving other people all over the place at ungodly hours of the night only to have them hang up on me when I need them.

Also ambulances can bill you for thier service if you're really that desperate, you don't have to pay upfront and it would have been a real slap in her face to see you hauled out in an ambulance or to even hear about it just because she was too much of a biatch to give you a ride. Hospitals are never very far to drive to so I don't see her excuse, but you could have also gotten yourself to a hospital.

Are you going to name it? Some people do, I know - weird. A friend of mine named his Kermit for some odd reason and giggles about it and won't tell me why.

My mom named her gall stone Bob when she got that taken out. The thing is huge! About the size of a golf ball. She kept it too! Had it coated in enamel and keeps it in the kitchen.

Anywho... that'll be a weight off your shoulders.

Your thoughts on owners who leave pets in cars during heat waves!
Posted: 8/5/2007 9:49:42 AM
I used to work in law enforcement, just bodyguarding etc. honestly couldn't hack it after about 2 years so I quit.

You are not supposed to leave the person you just arrested unattended! That was really irresponsible. Yes the guy got what he deserved, but still. Now the investigator is liable for damages if the jerk decides to sue all because he handcuffed the guy.

What I would have done is take the guys keys and wallet , you're not supposed to take the wallet but I think I would have been understood, so he can't leave and then hand the guy to someone to hang on to, no handcuffs while I go get the police.

How hard would it have been for him to take the dog out of the car while he was shopping and tied it up to a pole or to somewhere outside his car until he got back?
