Let it go, it's done.

The good news, depending where you are, there's literally hundreds of thousands of other women near you.

I guess after 50 men, she's probably no slouch in the sack.

It's your fault you didn't use a condom and caught an STI. Thank Christ you don't have a kid on the way as well.

Gangbang
Posted: 7/18/2012 8:46:53 AM

where did he find a 18yo virgin in Ontario

Why wasn't Jesus born in Ontario?

They couldn't fine three wise men and a virgin.

:D

I associate gangbang with rape. I find the casual tone of op' s question offensive to the high number of women and girls everywhere who've horrifically suffered this type of sexual assault.
Orgy is one thing. Rape? No!

Just because that's how you associate it, doesn't mean thats how it is. Some people could be VERY consenting to the notion.

Just some food for thought.

I heard it was a terribly written series, written for the lowest common denominator, and if he "crooked his neck" one more time his head was probably going to fall off. Repetitive repetitive repetitive.

Haven't read it myself, but the above review was from someone who reads, a lot.

Lets play is he a jerk or not a jerk!!!!
Posted: 7/8/2012 10:19:16 PM

A guy cant win for losing? good Lord.... The guy is upfront and honest and your wingnut friends tell you to dump him ? by the way I would get new friends if I were you , they don't sound like the quickest bunnies in the forest.

You went on one date with the guy ONE DATE, as other said that doesn't make a relationship, and I don't think he is a jerk, A jerk would of led you on and said d!ck diddly squat .

Look...... the bottom line is , he probably didn't feel it with you and this was his way of letting you down easy, take it for what its worth, and meet other guys

This.

I guess the relevant question is, are you dating other people as well?

She had a great time I thought it was the worst date in my life..how do I tell her?
Posted: 7/8/2012 9:01:01 PM
I have friends that I go out to dinner with now and then. We will take turns picking up the bill. There is no expectation of sex, because we are friends. Because we are friends, it's basically Dutch when it comes to the bill. Sometimes paydays don't work out so one or the other might end up picking up the tab a couple times in a row. It's no big deal, and we don't keep track, but it's generally alternating in nature.

Maybe you two just need to define what you have. If its friends, it's cool, just go 50/50 or take turns. If she ends up eating $20 when it's her turn and $80 when it's your turn, that's not the kind of friends I need....

They are usually the LAST people who could ever pull it off.

Why are most new rock bands terrible?
Posted: 6/25/2012 6:03:12 PM
Foo Fighters is my favorite band, for the record. 90% of music I listen to comes from bands I've done sound for. They are usually unsigned, but there's some great music out there. I get the Wright Brothers comparison. And I'll give you that. So I'll concede that the 60's and 70's have their place in the foundation of Rock music. Even back then there were one hit wonders and a lot of bad music. If you were to look at the charts of the day, I'm sure theres plenty of forgettable music.

These days, anyone can make music, it's just that everyone doesn't have the opportunity of hearing it all.

If I had to pick 3 from the 60's & 70's combined:

Bowie
The Who
T-Rex

Leave over oral

I would totally break up with someone I wasn't sexually compatible with.

I LOVE giving and receiving oral. If the person I was with didn't like one or the other, It would be over. No point being unhappy, or unsatisfied. There are so many people out there, go be happy elsewhere.

Middle aged man, new Camaro
Posted: 6/22/2012 8:52:08 AM
When I got my journeyman ticket in my trade in 2003, it was my turn to get a new vehicle, so I treated myself to a car I always thought was kinda sweet. A brand new Celica. I had been saving for awhile, with the idea of getting a late 70's early 80's Porsche 911. But the I realized as a daily driver, a (at the time) 25 year old car just wasn't practical. The new one had full warranty, was brand new had all the modern conveniences etc. it was my first brand new car that I ever had in my whole life.

The wife loved it, it was good on gas, we had our minivan for the fam, kids & their friends. This car was for us when we went out somewhere. More of a toy than anything. At the time, a couple people said "Oooh midlife" I replied "dude, I'm 33. It's not midlife, it's just life." had a couple accidents, slid into a curb during a freak snowstorm (had summer tires on) $4,000 damage, and a couple years later a deer hit me, to the tune of $7,000 damage.

I still have the car, still love it, it's now just a nice summer day cruiser. I have my Dakota quadcab 4x4 for a daily driver, to pull my gear trailer etc etc. with the accidents, I MIGHT get $3,000 for it. It's just totally not worth selling. It has 75,000 miles on it, and you can eat off the engine, it's that clean. It's no Ferrari, but it's a fun summer toy. I might as well enjoy it!!

As the poster above said, we've spent years on family, making sure everyone was looked after, what's wrong with a little me time!!!

Enjoy it brother!!

Living with Psoriasis
Posted: 6/19/2012 8:50:09 PM
I remember crying as a kid when I was diagnosed. Somewhere around 11 or 12. It would get better or worse. I would be dying in 35C weather wearing jeans and long sleeves, but I didn't want it to be seen. I remember being scared to show a long time girlfriend (we had just started dating) because I was so ashamed. I told her I wasn't normal. She said "what's normal anyway" and was perfectly fine with it. My ex-wife was ok with it as well. In fact, everyone I've ever dated had no problems at all with it.

It was just me that had the issues.

I take methotrexate for mine, and get lots of sun. When I take the methotrexate regularly (as perscribed) it pretty much goes away. I'm not a real sunworshipper, and I hate my tan, but that's a whole other can of worms lol. It's a bit hard on your liver, so when I go off it, it gives my liver a chance to recoup. The nice thing is this.

As you all know, it's accelerated skin cell production, so an offshoot ironically, is that I have no wrinkles at all, at 42.

None.

So it's not all bad.

These days I know the sun helps, I really should start up on the meth again, but it makes me feel a bit nauseous. I keep my skin moisturized, and my girlfriend has given me the nickname "Tinman" because I'm always "oiling up" lol I find it a cute nickname and don't mind it at all. I even went swimming in public 2 years ago, which I never in my wildest dreams ever thought would happen.

So do what you have to do, what is "normal" anyway.

Sincerely:

Tinman.

If that is true than way are you wanting them to put their assets at risk.......If you and others are truly not wanting them why is it such a problem for the assets be just the person they actually belong to.

See that is where y'all lose credibility you say you are not worried about money but balk at a man protecting his.

Sorry but I'm not buying it. As a lady said above I have children that I am leaving my assets to. I would never risk half of what I want to leave them which is everything I have.

I have worked hard to get what I have any woman I date has had the same chance to do the same why should I give half a lifetime of work to her?

If it is truly about a relationship then my money should not matter. It doesn't matter to me I could easily love someone that has more or less assets than I have........As long as they don't expect me to "make it equal" by me giving up half of my life's work.

Amen brother, and don't even get me started on my life insurance.

Lots of beautiful sexy women. It's not a dress size or a BMI figure. There's SO much more to being sexy than looks.

And

Lots of women are sexy AND quite successful as well. I'm afraid I just wouldn't have enough in common with someone from such a lower income bracket. I don't take extravagant exotic holidays, though I have been to Europe twice and Aussie once. But there are other ways to spend and save my money. At 42, I'm hoping to retire at 55, a scant 13 years from now. So I'm looking at he end game, and while it might include an equal, it doesn't include a dependent.

With the nature of my job, even in retirement I can jump into my field for a month or two to make some extra play money, which will come in handy, plus concentrating on my side company which is more of a well paying hobby as well.

It may seem hypocritical to some but if I can do better than someone who makes $12.00 an hour, why shouldn't I?

If I make over $100k/year, why is it a bad thing for me to look for a partner who makes a similar income? There was one woman in my life, she's been a dear friend for years, and I will always love her to bits, but I've never been romantically interested in her, because the logical part of me realizes that she just doesn't bring enough to the table. I do well on my own, and it would be fantastic to find someone in the same income bracket as myself. We could both contribute equally to different things, holidays etc. if we got married, we would go 50/50 on a house, bills etc etc.

Bittersweet excitement.....buying a house w/o someone to share the fun
Posted: 6/11/2012 8:16:58 PM
My whole married life was a compromise, which was fine. There was 2 of us I the relationship (4 if you count the stepkids) so decisions were made with everyone in mind. It's just how it was, everyone never always got their way, but that's what it's like in a family dynamic.

When we split and I bought myself a house, since I was no longer going to be in "our" house. I was able to pick exactly the house I wanted, with everything I wanted and needed.

It was actually quite refreshing!

I love my house, it's perfect for me!

All I have to say when choosing a spouse is to choose wisely.

I came out of my divorce quite fairly. We made within $10,000 of each other, both had pensions, etc etc. she chose to keep our house and bought out my share of the equity. I feel it was a fair divorce and have absolutely no bad feelings towards my ex.

I have friends who have been going through their divorces for almost a decade in a couple cases, with no end in sight. It's cost them tens of thousands of dollars so far. They didn't choose as wisely and are bitter and haggard.

Bottom line, I have my $hit together, and hope anyone I meet has their $hit together as well. A pretty face is one thing, a pretty face and a sound financial plan is even better. I'm simply not interested in taking on a huge debt load, or being a sugar daddy. Two solid incomes are better than one, we are in it together, there's enough people to go around. I'm sure you wouldn't want to date someone without a job, or 2 nickels to rub together....

It's not the be all end all, but it's definitely high on the list.
