Fantasia has her share of Grammy nominations this year...I would have to say she's up there with Kelly Clarkson....just a very different style. I'm still waiting to see some rockers that can make it far this year...that's what made it so interesting last year.

My ex husband is remarried and I am extremely happy for him. She's a very nice woman and I am friends with the both of them. I feel that some day when the time is right I will have that deep true love that I am wanting in life....until then I will be happy with who and what I am.

A lot of women that I personally know seem to be very scared of being alone...they tend to jump from relationship to relationship without a thought or a break for themselves....me,I'm not afraid at all about being alone...I am much like coastergal in that I would much rather be alone than with someone that makes me unhappy.

Ladydi...you are such a lovely person ....my prayers have been with you since I read a post of yours a while back...I'm sure God has a special angel for you..and that angel is watching over you and with prayer is going to keep you here with us for a very long time. As I have said before...I wish there were more like you around...you are a rare gem...you have helped me look at life in a very different way through your words I have seen you post here in the forums...for anyone to be blessed with a friend like you in life would be very special..Merry Christmas beautiful lady.

Last Christmas my young twin nephews and their little sister placed their little hands in paint and made hand prints on these rubber cards that were magnets...love them! One of my older nephews which is also my God son wrote a story about me when he was in elementary school...now he's in highschool and the football team he is on had to write letters to the one female figure that had influenced their life, they then had to mail the letter to that person...he sent me the letter...both his letter and his short story are framed and hanging on my wall...very special things...that come from the heart!

daisy first of all I am very sorry about your father..now about what you just posted.....almost all of your last paragraph sounds just like a man that I knew from another country...he is now 43...he was always coming yet something came up....hence there was another waiting period...and yes he had to stay to help his family out...either you get over to where he is or try to move on...I'm sorry this worry is with you..it's not a good thing to worry about.....wonder did we come across the same man on the net...for your sake I certainly hope not.

cookies I understand where you are coming from completely....I have been there done that...its hard...very hard...but you must pull yourself together and work on your self esteem...you have to love yourself before someone can come into your life and love you like you should truly be loved. At times I know its hard..and it really is a live and learn thing...yes you are right, at times it feels like you are beating your head against the wall wondering when will you learn..but with each experience you honestly do learn a bit. I have seen that once I got my self esteem back in order that the silly things I used to do stopped and I am very proud of myself with that...you can and will get to that point also....yes...its very hard...but when you are feeling low and are about to do or say something you feel is perhaps just not right......stop...think hard before you react... you can do it...and in time you will see...you are a wonderful person..you are worth somebodys love..YOU will love yourself...and with that...someone else can and will fully love you.

A few years back I had a trip planned to New Zealand...I did a lot of research on it...it's beautiful...circumstances came about that made that dream trip just that..a dream..but honestly everything I researched about it was awsome. The beaches here in NC are beautiful also..guess I will stick with those for now.

That's very true nosoup....we should love ourselves in order for others to be able to fully love us. I have found that "needing" to be loved surely doesnt lead a person into a happy relationship...most of the time that type of relationship is lacking that deep love within your heart. Since my divorce years ago I have turned my thoughts to "me" and just what is it that makes me happy...what makes me tick...what is it that makes me smile.....I have learned to love who and what I am...thats what's important. My mother always told me as I was growing up....you have to love yourself before someone else can truly love you...so true.

I like Johnson....as for his not owning up..yes he did..he made a public apology for last week..he even went as far as calling some of the drivers involved in the wreck and telling them he was sorry...people may not want to admit it but he is a class act. Stewart even said Jimmie shouldnt let things like that bother him...it happens to all of them...but I guess hes got a conscience.

At times you can reach for what you think is the whole package..your perfect love and it totally turns out nothing like you expected...I have experienced this, from then on I have learned to just enjoy life and all it has to offer. If someone is meant for me it will happen in time...somehow we will find one another. My whole life my friends have told me..it will happen when you least expect it...I am going to take their word and live life to its fullest. If it never happens at least I can say I spent my years happy with who I was and what I was doing....Good luck to you...just focus on yourself and keeping yourself happy...lifes too short...enjoy it while you can.
