Trusting Your Intuition on the First Encounter

You are right on.. No reason to prolong and encourage something that isn't there.. It is a common curtisy date to meet and see if you both feel chemistry. If not then it is the right time to end the interest.. That is why we have the first simple date to see if what we experienced online is the real thing. It is a trial run and both have the same opportunity to cancel.. It is an open agreement that both enter into when meeting. Like the 3 days to decide to cancel contract. You still have to look out for yourself. You care for the person and understand but don't be deceived by those that transfer guilt on you and try to win the situation on those grounds. Love grows and attractions and chemistry come without any prompting. It is there or it is not.. Just my take on life..

WTF am I supposed to do now?

"We had made plans for me to get my, as well as my children's, passports so we could join him as soon as my divorce was finalized."
My Question would be, Did you give him social security numbers and info for these passports or did you do all the planning without giving him that info. If you gave him your children and your information I would be checking to see if credit cards, birth certificates and etc were being requested. He may have just needed to steal some new idenities to sell. Just a thought.

Guy I met online keeps asking for money

Yes, I also met a guy that emailed me, with a wonderful story. He moved here from Greece with his 19 yr. old daughter and has his own private company with a friend. He gets a sudden contract for networking in Nigeria and goes on this sudden trip with his daughter. I ask about the suddeness of this and of course all passports are in order etc. Once there he communicates a few days and then is so frustrated that they won't cash his check. His partner is convienently not answering his phone and his travelers checks can't be cashed. When I question the use of credit card he denies owning one. Of course he names the traveler checks and says the embassee can't help him either.. Well will he is playing out his scam I am doing a search of the company his checks are from.. Low and behold he hasn't done his homework..LOL. There is an office in Nigeria where he is at..Of course that is countered with a reply of "they won't cash them".. LOL.. Imagine that.. Needless to say he asks if he could trust me and send me his check to cash.. And of course I would do such a thing..LOL.. He then proceeds to ask if I could take out a loan to give him the money till his check comes in and I cash it.. LOL.. I said sure thing.. How much???.. and he didn't want to make me get too much...How kind of him... LOL. The check is in the mail.. johnoname..lol
That is what he went by..and is still working his scams.. on Yahoo.. I did report him..
Very attractive photos, whoever he borrowed them from..LOL..

How about this one that I received today
i\'m a white man 35 in hattiesburg well built and well hung with 9 inches in need of a real woman to pleasure my big stick r u woman enough to handle it?
To which I replied,
Sure come on over, Don't mind that I'm 68, will unfold the girls and air them out for your visit, and find my cane so we can bat that stick around for awhile. I really think I can handle 9 inches with this cane of mine. It is well worn. Hey sonny, I've been around the block a time or two so make sure you come prepared. On the way over stop by and pick up some manners.

A wonderful Maso Canalli Pinot Grigio. Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio. (White and dry, not sweet). Many warm memories are made with a great wine. Not to mention wonderful delectible dishes too.
