are women leery of guys over 30 who have never been married?
Posted: 1/13/2009 6:01:02 PM
No, I'm definitely not leery of guys over 30 who have not been married. I'm hoping that there's someone out there like me who has decided to wait for someone they can see spending the rest of their life with.

I like the idea of meeting that special someone, the sparks fly, the chemistry booms & there is little baggage.... A clean slate. Maybe I'm a little selfish in that way but the idea of the constant presence of an Ex Wife...Alimony...Child Support is just not very appealing to me ( sorry to the people in that situation, not meaning to offend, it's just not for me).

High IRON diet RECIPES~~I need Help :)
Posted: 11/14/2008 10:17:40 AM
I don't really have a recipe but more so a remedy. I had Iron deficient anemia for years & cured it with a simple remedy.. 1 tablespoon of blackstrap molasses & a tab of Ester C once a day. I've heard really bad things about iron supplements, But that simple remedy had my iron levels to normal in just 2 weeks. FYI if you warm the spoon it makes it easier to swallow.

Why take vitamins?
Posted: 7/18/2008 9:01:14 AM
Another good reason is that much of the soil growing the veggies has been depleted over the years a lot of our foods do not have the same vitamin content they used to.

Isn't it ironic... don't ya think
Posted: 7/13/2008 7:49:42 PM
How many times have you seen man post on here about woman "lieing" about there few extra pounds.

I have selected a few extra pounds. I am A few extra pounds, but gotten many emails saying they "don't think I am". But do you know how many men have contacted me that HONESTLY have a "few extra pounds" but select "average".

Obviously not just a feminine flaw.

If you cannot feel sexual chemistry, should you continue to date someone?
Posted: 7/13/2008 12:11:58 PM
Have to say I have the same opinion as most everyone else. Chemistry is huge. I would not & could not settle if it wasn't there. I think It would be easier to deal with a missing finger then missing chemistry.

What is great sex
Posted: 3/21/2008 11:26:17 AM
To me it's not so much the what as the after. Great sex leaves me moaning for about 10 minutes after, leaves my thighs shaking, out of breath & the feeling of floating. It's completely euphoric.

Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship?
Posted: 3/20/2008 10:47:38 PM
I have to say that if you both agree there's a connection & you'd like to see if it goes some where, you both need to leave dating sites, or else you're not giving it an honest shot.

I for one have left.....and come back....left again....& haha, here I am

single men in their 30s living alone with a dog
Posted: 3/10/2008 2:08:26 PM
Well I don't think all woman feel that way. I personally would rather talk to a guy who lives alone waiting to meet the right lady rather then one who keeps jumping in to relationships that fail.

But that's just me...& Frankly I think the woman who said that is probably some superficial wing nutt. Just sayin'

Why are women under 30 so materialistic?
Posted: 3/10/2008 12:56:24 PM
that's a pretty rash generalization... Not all woman are that way & there are certainly some men that are.... Did you ever think this is the type of people you're attracting yourself?

I'm under 30.. I make my own money. I cook & I buy a bottle of wine to go with dinner.. Maybe you just need to attract nicer woman.

I never knew other people did this, but it seems logical... I personally don't take anyone very seriously until we've made it to the 6 month mark.

bi-sexuality - r woman doing this to be more attractive to men?
Posted: 2/21/2008 9:30:59 AM
I think a lot of woman who say they're bi are doing it for attention... Which is why I don't mention it in my profile but rather wait until I get to know the person better before I mention it...

You only have to look to the dance floor to see the ones who are just looking for attention. I really don't think it's a positive way to go about getting the attention they crave, plus it makes it more challenging for woman who actually are bi to make it clear that some of us are bi because we enjoy it & not because of the attention.

"a safer sex trade"
Posted: 12/18/2007 11:22:48 PM
there's a documentary airing in two weeks about the sex trade.

Up scale vs: low scale...

I personally think the sex trade should be legalized for many reasons.
I'll start listing them off:

Safety for the woman/men who sell sex as a commodity, like any other commodity it should be regulated, ie: std's, violence, rape, robbery, abuse.

Safety for consumers, ie: std's, robbery, abuse.

Like my job, theirs should be taxed & regulated. I mean Harper is finally saying no tainted goods from China but we need to start in our own back yard... If we made as much noise about this situation as we did for a little bit of lead paint from China.. Where, honestly, do you think we'd be?

women vs: tainted paint... seriously

Why is it, that close to 90% of prostitution is off street/up scale but close to 90% of convictions are on street level.. ( my stats may not be 100% accurate but I believe they are close, please correct this forum if I'm off by a substantial difference.

Sex is and always will be the oldest selling commodity since the invention of matches. Why are we not protecting the woman/men who decide they can provide the service.
And why is it not regulated for safety..

It seems Canada and the America's are a wee bit Draconian under the Harper/Bush Leadership. " Lets turn back the clock on gay marriage, ignore the abuse of sex trade workers, give serial killers the option of parole in 25 years, punish the dope smokers instead of busting the meth labs, not find affordable housing for Canadians but PLEASE LET US DIVIDE & CONQUER THE NORTH POLE."

A wee bit off topic but trying to serve a point... I'm curious as to what people have to say before & after this Doc' on the sex trade in Canada

Robert Pickton Verdict= GUILTY
Posted: 12/11/2007 9:37:28 PM
Cody...

So let me get this straight..... You lost your "best friend" to drugs. & You worked with "at risk" youth for many years....

In your time working with "at risk" youth, did you determine that everyone was there by freewill just because they didn't feel like working or getting an education so they could make enough to live?
Did you not once come across cases where the child actually had major emotional issues(ie: insecurity, depression, self destruction, suicidal tendencies /mental disabilities/ post traumatic stress because of childhood related abuse.
Did you not once see how deep-seated those issues can be, or how someone mentally unequipped to deal with previous trauma can be dragged down for years without proper care & counseling. I would expect a person of your experience to have more compassion, education & understanding that some people don't choose what's right for themselves because no one has ever shown them how or they don't feel they're worth it.

I'm not saying all the woman who died fall under this umbrella, however many people on the street do.

Thank-you, Eric, Well said. Can we please have a little respect here. Were it not for the lack of treatment programs & beds offered/not by our Government maybe these woman would not have been on the street. At the very least they would have had an option.

In regards to a previous post. I don't think he will sit in prison & feel bad for what he's done. In fact he bragged to an informant while being held in custody about killing 49 woman. Something makes me think he's not ever going to be remorseful.

I think his body should be donated to science ( alive or dead ) so they can do research on possible genes that make these killers who they are.

Why do you keep trying to put words in mouth. I have not said one word about prostitutes so please do not assume you know what I think and say before I've said it...

I believe Robert Pickton & anyone who acted with him should be put to death. And that is my final answer.

I have to agree with you yna6. They Killed Kenny can argue "cruel & unusual punishment" to the death ( no pun intended) I however think this man & others like him are a waste of air.
& life in prison is much to nice a fate for serial offenders.

I think we'll see more people charged in the upcoming trial/s.

well the jury found him capable even though his defense tried their best to convince them other wise.

Just because you're under-educated does not mean you're not smart enough to murder. That's a primal thing. Just means you're likely to be caught..

Again, I do not think he acted alone but definitely believe he had a hand in it

Let's hear peoples opinion on this SOB... This trial has been a long time running, I'm curious to see what people have to say.

Also.

Do you think Canada should reform it's position on Capital Punishment? At least for serial killers convicted of multiple murders, proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I personally detest the thought that my tax money is going to keep this SOB alive & healthy, maybe even give him an education in prison.

Let's hear your thoughts on all of this

Strangest question you've been asked at work?
Posted: 12/9/2007 9:23:47 AM
Well.. I used to work at a hardware store in the paint dept... And I had this guy come in & asked..." Do you sell straps?" & I was like.. " well what kind of strap, like a tie down for your truck?" & he said " No, a jock strap, I'm on my way to rugby & I lost mine" I think I gave him a fairly blank stare ( trying not to laugh) & told him " This isn't sport mart, it's on the other side of town"...

Women...would you pay for sex with a man?
Posted: 11/1/2007 10:24:47 AM
hahaha pay? you said PAY for sex with a man... *chuckles* that's cute & funny.. Hell no. I'm a woman. I could get it every day of the week by a different guy If i so choose.. of course I don't choose that.. it's not safe.. but I certainly would never have to pay for it... & I'm just an average looking woman.

Even the most unattractive women can get a man.. Like someone else said.. supply & demand..

I think if a woman did want to pay for sex it would be more of a control issue. That she wants you to know she's using you & paying for you like a piece of meat. That you're not getting what you want but that she is the one taking what she wants from you & gets to tell you to leave after.. simple.

In response to that comment... Would you really care? If the connection was there & she was a tigress in the sack & could keep you satisfied.. would it really matter?

If you're both tested & clean then it really doesn't matter what the number is.

Posted: 10/21/2007 3:36:28 PM
I personally feel the majority of people are wrapped up in this "cosmo world" we live in.. I'm a rare one.. I really don't give a sh*t if people don't like my hair style or my shoes or anything else for that matter because I know that the few people I do connect with see me for who I am & that's why they love me.

Unfortunetly for some the "cosmo world" creates insecurities which depleats their confidence... If only they could come to the realization that some day..we are all gonna get old.. we are all gonna get wrinkles & WE AL WILL EVENTUALY DIE.. & as morbid as that may sound.. It gives me the freedom to not really care about superficial crap... & just go on being happy with who I am.

As for running my fingers thru a dead guys hair.. Ewwwwwww
