A little profile help?
Posted: 9/10/2009 1:15:09 PM
I dont like your first picture. The second is much better. Infact in a weird way it almost looks like two different people.

The whole " you can message me first comment" ... just seems a bit lazy.

Now this is probably just me but its a turnoff when i see guys put video games under interests. Not that I have a problem with video games at all. Perhaps im making a snap judgement but it just makes me think your one of those people that spends hours and hours playing.

I think you need new pictures. In the third one you look drunk and in the first one you look like an ax-murder.

How bad is to yawn while talking to your girlfriend on the phone?
Posted: 7/26/2009 5:25:11 PM
I once had a guy fall asleep while we were on the phone. Except all I heard was this horrible dieing noise and then the phone went dead. I trully thought he had died.
Anyhow, he eventually called me back and apologized but in all honestly I wasnt mad at all... I laughed about it. Yawning is nothing.

Would you date someone still living with their Ex?

No i would not date someone living with their Ex. Major turn-off.
They can wait to date until the living situation changes.

Keep her interested
Posted: 7/24/2009 10:50:15 PM
Personally I talk to someone on msn after a 4 or 5 pof messages sometimes less. I find its easier to communicate that way and there is less chance one side might loose interest because its a flowing conversation. Alot of times I can tell people are different over msn and I eventually give out my number after a few conversations. I prefer they ask me out after a phone call or a few phone calls.

What to do with her stuff
Posted: 7/11/2009 6:19:34 PM
Just drop her stuff off. You dont want her showing up out the blue or something.
Its your call whether you want to call her beforehand or just leave it at her house. just make sure if you leave it and dont say anything, that its going to be in a place where it isnt going to get rained on, stolen or something bad happen to it.

She's religious, I'm not. How do you balance this??
Posted: 7/11/2009 6:15:05 PM
I would just ask her what topics are touchy ones or issues that are really important to her. I went to catholic school and did all the sacraments... now I personally wouldnt really call myself a religious person... I dont go to church. But so many catholic people that I know are completely open to discussion on topics that you might think they wouldnt be. For some people, religion consumes there lives and for others its to a lesser degree.

Is it all about the profile or the initial message?
Posted: 7/9/2009 7:16:40 PM
Its about your profile and a message that has something to do with her profile.
I delete messages where guys just talk about themselves.... it makes me think they are sending standard messages.... which alot of people here do because I have recieved the same message from people several times.

However... sometimes if i get alot of messages, its just easier to let them die in my inbox. Honestly.. its simple.. if they dont reply.. they arent interested.

Question for the ladies
Posted: 7/6/2009 11:00:18 AM
I have long think somewhat unique looking hair that seems to make people look at me. In all honesty thou, I dont really enjoy it. People rarely come up and approach me but I think that is because of my body language. I hate that everywhere I go I feel like people are starring at me and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Honestly, I would actually prefer they come up and say something instead of just looking at me.

Well, your pictures are alright. The no stalkers comments seems a bit odd. I would cut that. You might want to write a few more things about your interests. What you do for fun or life in general etc.

Why do men assume all women are like thier ex?
Posted: 7/3/2009 12:01:05 AM
The last man I dated spoke about his ex alot. At first, I wasnt bothered because I knew that they were together for a while and that was a big part of his life. He more just mentioned her in stories that pertained to past experiences in his life. However, one day he brought it up at a completly wrong moment and I knew it was starting to become a problem. It ended shortly after, for reasons that had nothing to do with his ex but anyhow.... looking back sometimes I think he brought her up to see how I would react to certian situations.

Why do women date mutiple guys at once?
Posted: 7/1/2009 12:03:08 AM
I never date more than one person at a time. I cant do it. Im fairly picky with who like so if I like someone they usually have my attention. Besides, I have a life beyond that and I dont have the time or the ambition to date more than one person.

Can Someone Tell Me If My Profile Is All Wrong??
Posted: 6/30/2009 11:34:33 PM
I agree you should take out the " you dont want to play games part"

Your profile should be positive, not talk about past negatives. You can share
that in person if you want.

Also, I think you should change your photos. I dont think they really show what you look like. With the exception of the second picture, that one is lovely.. that should be your first. The rest have been cut in weird ways that dont really show you.

hi, I need some advice maybe some help...
Posted: 6/30/2009 11:28:12 PM
I think the picture of you in the suit is your best photo.

Personally im a bit put off by men in your age range that have long term as there status. Even if thats what you want, I would still set it to dating. You can figure out where people stand on the issue after you have met them. Typically if you ask the right questions you can find out who is going to be a serial dater.

Also, I recommend adding the Things before I die list. Its worked out good for me.
It gives people an opening on what they can talk about. It also shows my interests, ambitions without just writing them like everybody else.

... if I showed up to a date and the guy had a fanny pack. .... words would not describe... how completely wrong that is.
Or a murse for that matter. Briefcase, sidebag or even backpack would be more appropriate.

The First Message
Posted: 6/29/2009 8:43:39 PM
The first message is key. I personally like the longer, more thought out ones.
I dont respond to hey how are you messages. Thats boring and unexciting.
Dont have a standard message, maybe it specific to each person. Go off something you see in there profile.
