Thin Overweight Average
Posted: 7/4/2009 10:16:15 PM
Weight isn't really the issue for me.. Its body fat or cellulite that bothers me.. I can't stand it, I would not **** it with a mouse, I would not **** it in a house.. etc..

in my opinion 5'2 and 140 pounds is overweight (not to put you down) .. Ive dated girls who were that weight at 5 foot 8 and they still had a bit of "love handle" going on.. I guess I just like them thin or muscular, but not too muscular.. Jamie Easton at the most.

Whats an instant turn on for you
Posted: 6/28/2009 8:33:49 PM
When she tells me what she wants me to do, because it is probably going to be what works best for her. And it gets me going to see her getting off.. and it gets me off.. :D

Turn off when she acts confused, like she doesnt know what to do.. or just stops and asks a question completely irrelivant to sex.. Thats where I shoot my load and take my leave.

Do you touch your partner's head as he/she performs oral?
Posted: 6/26/2009 9:28:02 PM
When giving: I would like it if the girl would provide some direction that way. I would like to know that I was doing it right. Pull me to where you want my tongue.

When receiving: Depends on the girl. Some don't want to be touched. Me, being the Dominant type, likes grabbing 2 handfuls of hair and directing, holding down, holding in place while I ***k her mouth. Etc. >sigh<

This... I dont see anything wrong with that, whatever she allows you to do. The last girl I was with was on her period but she wanted to get me off, so she wanted me to face fuk her and blow a load on her face.. nothing wrong with it at all.

as long as both partners are comfortable, do whatever you want.

your thoughts on casual sex
Posted: 6/26/2009 9:08:57 PM
I think that casual sex is fine as long as all of the people (could be more than just 2) understand and accept that it is not going to be an ongoing relationship, and if they are safe about it (protection), then it is fine..

Your Fave Protein Powder/Mix/Shake?
Posted: 6/24/2009 7:52:55 PM
Optimum Nutrition - ON 100% Whey Protein

I like that it has an easy mixability in water or milk, no need for a blender..

There are no cons to it, other than sucralose in the flavoured blends..

It has helped me reach my daily protein requirement of 250G per day (at 1-1.5G per pound of body weight.. which is 190)

How long should you excersise
Posted: 6/24/2009 7:50:38 PM
For anybody else that cares...

High reps with low weight is just pointless.. Just lift something heavy if you want to build your muscles and strengthen them as well.

Another thing.. muscle doesnt turn into fat, and fat doesnt turn into muscle.. They are completely different components of the body.

My suggested ab workout.. Hanging leg raises, cable crunches with heavy weight (6-12 reps), floor crunches with feet rested on a bench.. with weight added for extra difficulty if needed.

I know the best way.. :O

Diet.
Weight training
Low Intensity Cardio (to burn fat and spare muscle tissue)

Im not getting into the technical part of this, but its the right answer. I promise.

anyone here used steroids?

TheOnlyMan

That is by far the worst advice I have ever seen, and I come from a few bodybuilding forums..

1) I hope you dont reach your goal, because you didn't do it naturally.
2) I hope that IF YOU DO, you will die of heart failure.

advice for optimizing my tread mill work out
Posted: 6/22/2009 8:34:26 PM
The best option...

Diet properly. this is 80% of your results with weight loss.
Weight training - strengthens and builds muscles.
Cardio - takes care of the rest, and improves your heart health.

Healthy at a low BMI?
Posted: 6/22/2009 8:32:32 PM
An easy way to get calories in.. Nuts, all types of nuts.. fat is very energy dense..you can also take shot glasses of olive oil and other oils.. such as udo's 3-6-9 .. that is 30ml of oil which equates to about 180 calories.. tell me that is not the easiest 180 calories you will ever get.

trying to lose weight, any help appreciated :D
Posted: 6/22/2009 7:52:36 PM
85 pounds is perfectly realistic in 8 months.. a fair bit more than you can manage without losing muscle mass, but its possible to do.. at least its not like 20 pounds in 10 days.. thats just STUPID.

Anyways, to OP.. use a BMR calculator, subtract 500 calories from the number you get and you have a diet.. Make your diet with clean foods only, allowing about 200 calories at the most for a dessert, if you must.. ONLY IF YOU MUST.

If you cannot join a gym for financial reasons then I understand completely, but if it is just because you fail to manage your time wisely.. then you'd better start. I dont really think the P90X workout is that great, however, many people have used it for weight loss with great success. See if you can get a hold of that through a download torrent if possible.. You can also engage in activities such as swimming, biking, hiking.. all that stuff.. martial arts has gotta be my favourite type of cardio workout.

Best option if available..

Yeah my mistake, sorry bro.. But there are PH that have similar if not worse effects than steroids.. and to the above poster.. I guess he knows a little more about steroids than I do, anyways, they are not a healthy choice in any case. Id like to add that this topic does relate directly to health and wellness.

lower back pain
Posted: 6/22/2009 3:07:02 PM
If you go to touch your toes with your toes pointed towards your body, does a pain shoot from ur lower back down 1 side all the way to your toes? If so.. Congradulations, you have a pinched sciatic nerve... I have this too, its rough somedays.. Just ice it and the irritation usually subsides, dont use heat as this can cause it to be enflamed.

Vegetarianism....is it a good weight loss tool?
Posted: 6/22/2009 12:04:49 PM
Terrible advice, ignore it. There are no benefits from vegetarianism that are not outweighed by the defects of it. She could be in the best shape of her life by just exercising.. Ever thought of that? Im sure you have. Shes full of it. Keep eating meat, just fix your portions and step into a gym.

Also.. Hot dogs are garbage for you, same with sausage.. cheese burgers.. All that kind of stuff.. Just read nutrition labels.

Back Work?
Posted: 6/22/2009 12:01:48 PM
Lateral raises are a shoulder exercise..

You can use a lat pulldown machine, or do negatives with pull ups if you are strong enough.. But stay the FK away from that stupid assisted pull-up/dip machine..

The barbell row is also one of the greatest mass/strength building exercises for back there is.

There is also the deadlift.. Pretty much forces you to utilize every muscle in your body.

In honor of the dead lift.

Deadlifts dont really fit on leg day either.. Think about doing 4 sets of squats, then trying to deadlift..

On back, if you do them first it will tax your erector muscles to the point where your rowing exercises will be limited.

When You Are Stalled..Its Not Easy
Posted: 6/22/2009 11:56:08 AM
Agreed. Take measurements of your body parts.. lower waist size means you have lost body fat, increase in other parts generally means that you have gained muscle..

HOWEVER, it does come to a point where you cannot gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, and you have to adjust your diet to suit one or the other.. Increase calories to gain muscle, decrease calories to lose fat..

Another thing is that you may be training too often.. 6 days a week is alot. While your muscles may be able to handle it, your central nervous system probably cannot.

Opinions On Colon Cleanse and Acai Berry, Fat Burn Products
Posted: 6/22/2009 11:52:50 AM
No, they do not work. There is no such thing.

The only thing that works is a diet, and compliment that diet with a weight lifting routine and you are good to go. Diet means 500 calories less than your BMR, and weight lifting means training everything with a weight that you cannot complete for more than 12 reps.. Google search a 3 day beginner workout and you are well on your way. As well as a BMR calculator.

How often do you visit the gym?
Posted: 6/22/2009 11:51:07 AM
There is such a thing as overtraining.. If your goal is to lose fat and tone up a little. A beginner routine would DEFINATLY be the best path for you, especially since you have not been exercising for many years. The high rep low weight is a scam. Use a weight that you can complete no more than 12 reps of. Google search a 3 day beginner plan, get your diet in order (500 calories less than your BMR, not starvation) and perform low intensity cardio training (fast walk to sloowww jog) for 45 minutes upon waking up, and 45 minutes after exercising.. The reason for this is that you glycogen stores are low at this point and it will be easier for your body to utilize fat as energy instead of muscle.

Posted: 6/22/2009 11:45:37 AM
Pathetic bro.. Steroids should only be used (and i still think they should NEVER be used) when you have reached your genetic potencial for muscle building.. a few of the side effects of steroids are acne, gyne(growth of fatty tissue in the chest, in other words.. breasts) , mood swings, depression, anxiety, anger.. All of that for a few pounds of muscle that you could have attained naturally by going to the gym with a proper routine, eating well and sleeping well.. Tell me if you think its worth it, or even send me a message cause I will be happy to provide you with some info if it will deter you from this path.

Cheers.

No-Xplode???
Posted: 6/22/2009 11:41:56 AM
Its not worth the money.. NO products are one of the least effective to cost ratio products out there. They are just loaded with caffeine. Besides, how long have you been training? You probably dont have much business even thinking about anything other than a multivitamin and whey protein.. If you are lacking results, look at your routine, diet, then after that is said and done.. Look at supplements.

Best ways to increase your bench press?
Posted: 6/22/2009 11:36:52 AM
The best way to increase your bench press is to learn how to bench properly.. This includes a slight pause on the chest, and then a full lock out.. If you are trying to increase your 1RM, you should be training in the rep range of 3-5 .. Check out Bill Starr's 5x5 , or Mark Rippetoe's 3x5 ..

You have to be eating enough to move the scale upwards each week though. Cheers.
