Men don't like TALL women

You want tall people? Go to Germany! I had to go for work a few times - everyone is a giant! men, women - I"m used to being one of the taller people in any given group (in the US) especially if I'm wearing heels but there I was only average and spent a lot of time looking up at people - wasn't used to it! LOL

You hadn't even met yet????? Are you kidding??
Imagine if you actually had a date - you wouldn't be able to leave the house and if you did you'd have to wear a radio collar.
Count your blessings you avoided a big problem.

Are you kidding? I love mustard. What else do you put on a dog with kraut, or a pretzel? I have never met a mustard I didn't like - French's yellow, Plochman's grainy style, horseradish mustard, hot chinese mustard - all great.
Mayo is great too! Hellman's is the best

Thanks for the tips

Evansp - I'm sorry but if a girl has two brain cells to rub together, she knows all your "tips" already, and also a bunch you havent' listed.
In all honesty - the fact you took the time to write an elaborate post dissing other guys on the site makes you look insecure and frankly very unattractive. . You don't raise yourself up by putting others down. Be yourself, and dont' worry about the other guys out there.

Men don't like TALL women

Interesting thread. I'm 5'10" (with heels on, 6'1"+) and in all honesty have dated men both shorter and taller. I think taller feels a little more "natural" especially if you're dancing, but it is not a dealbreaker. Of course, when height difference becomes physically awkward or just inappropriate/uncomfortable that would be valid.

ugly men

Beth that is a really cool story. Nice.
Attractiveness is entirely subjective. If you think you're ugly, so will everyone else. Learn to appreciate and like/love yourself. If there are things you can update - hair, styling, clothes, go to the gym/get in better shape - do that. Sometimes a makeover can do wonders. Be the best "you" you can be - start slow but try - you will be OK.

Stupid is as Pot Stupid does

It all depends on your personal values. If it bothers you, it bothers you - and that is valid and reason not to be with someone.
Personally I would not be with someone who smoked pot. Or cigarettes. Just a personal choice.

does every straight/bi woman think brad pitt is hot?
Posted:

Brad Pitt - YUCK. Scrawny, smarmy in need of a bath. Never got what people see in him.
Ditto Tom Cruise - gives me the creeps.
Now Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe are different stories. Both really attractive and amazing actors. Depp in a chamelon-like way and Crowe in a man's man sort of way.

Ye old Profile Review Request.

No offense, but your main pic is SCARY. It makes you look like a crazy maniac, and no one has any idea of what you look like. You need a normal headshot, with a SMILE please. Also your full length pic shows nothing - and worse it looks at first glance as if you're, um, urinating on the ground (at least from the posture). You want to be pleasant and approachable, not creepy. I'm sorry if this is really strong but please try changing your pics, you will have more success.

What do you mean by DRAMA
Posted:
8/14/2009 12:41:02 PM
Will some kind gentleman please explain what you all mean by saying "no drama" . I see this in so many profiles it's become a laughable cliche and in all honesty I tend to bypass any profile that includes negativity "no this, no that". If you focus on negativity that is what will find you, and I like a profile that is upbeat and positive. Everyone has had not-do-desirable experiences - we don't have to dwell on them. My other favorite (being facetious) thing is 'no games" - NOBODY wants that - man or woman - do they really think someone will say to themselves "Oh, gee - I love to play games with peoples' heads, I better not reply to THAT profile" - it's really funny!

Why are women not interested in sailing?
Posted:
8/14/2009 12:31:39 PM
Ketch, I know for a fact there are many women who like to sail, just hang in there - you will meet one who shares your passion. Some people just dont like the water, get seasick - not their thing - but there are lots that do. Stick to your guns, you'll find someone who likes what you like. There are in my opinion 3 types of boaters - sailors, pleasure boaters, and fishermen. All have very different cultures, lifestyles and attitudes regarding their actvities - look for one to fit your niche. I personally am a fisherman (fisherwoman sounds silly) and take it very seriously. One thing - make sure - if she doesn't know already - she learns to run, I mean sail :-) the boat and take over if something happened to you. I see women whose men do everything and they' be at a loss in an emergency.

How can one remain friends with their Ex?
Posted:
8/14/2009 11:59:14 AM
I would not consider a relationship with someone who has old exes in their life under the guise of active friends. The past belongs in the past and frankly it's not respectful of one's partner. Divorced with children and both are civil for the sake/peace of the child - wonderful.
