I am almost positive that they will have a DJ or band for dancing from about 9PM to 3 AM.
I had already planned to go. Don't know many places that have dancing on Saturdays. maybe I am just reclusive.

Why Do Guys Quit Dancing after 40?
Posted:

This is a bogus thread! The Premise is completely wrong. I am 62 and go out dancing at least twice a week. There are guys a lot older than I dancing at the bars as well. Some of them are excellent dancers. Started lessons in new dances to get better and learn new things. Bought dance shoes. I am just getting started!

That's funny, Silversideup. I ordered dance shoes over the internet and they should arrive will before the party.
TC, watched dance moves in "Saturday Night Fever" on youtube. Picked up a couple of moves to try with you......er, dance moves. John Travolta was skinny and very limber. No more, that's for sure!

Question for MEN

Dear Barbwire 45,
You are already facing your issues by posting here. Good for you; that's a positive step. Next, talk with him about your issues and concerns. Tell him about your walking and exercise. You may think that he is physically perfect, but he isn't. It may be hard, but you have to realize that he has to accept you for yourself. If he won't accept you as you are, you have to find someone who will. No one will be happy making themselves over to appeal to someone else.

Oral anal play?

vickxstar, you beat me to the punch. This is the one area for a dental dam. Lubricate the side placed against the anal area to enhance the "receiver's" pleasure. This should also encourage the "giver" to be more actively attentive. Voila, it's still safe to kiss afterwards.

sexually aggressive men... like em or not?

All of these comments make me feel like an anomaly. I try to establish a light rapport with a woman from our first meeting. I also try to hide my sensuality so I don't make her uncomfortable. Some women can "read" me anyway and comment on it. Makes me feel like something is written on my forehead with magic marker.
I expect sex to evolve as part of a normal relationship. Trying to force it, just won't work. Maybe I am naive.

THURS., 7/23/09 - NEW VENUE! - ATLANTIS CC, ATLANTIS

Paul,
The Hawaiian shirt sounds great. I've seen other guys in shorts, but not many. Jeans or slacks might be better.
Keep in mind that many of the women wear nice****ail dresses. Haven't seen a woman in shorts yet. And very few in jeans.
Be prepared to dance with all sorts of people!!!
See you there.

I am psyched! It's a long drive from Jupiter, but this will be the largest tank of fish I will have seen in my two months on pof. Need to rest up before the trip.
This ought to be a lot of fun.

Do You Men Read Our Whole Profiles?
Posted:

This is an important topic.
My impression is that most other guys look at the picture and react. Their emails may become garbage-in, garbage-out.
The whole profile is very valuable. When I look at a woman's profile, I want to gain a sense of whether we might be a match or not. I'll try to read between the lines. I try to gauge the quality of her mind from the way that she writes; the intellectual/mental component is very important to me. It's vital to know whether it is worth one's time to pursue someone who may not click with you.
