I had a blast , even met someone at the bar later , i am kinda stuck in calgary tho , got taken home :( Thats what i get for passing out in a strangers car .. 3 hours later...

My current GF has a somewhat stunned EX and up until recently it was fairly unpleasant for her and for visitation drop offs. The power trips and other attempts to control or subdue were very evident. Violence never solves anything either as an offense or a defense, the "big ol" boys idea however effective it may or may not be just starts a cycle of violence that will only hamper efforts to deal with this the legal way. Having said that if the situation came up where my gf was being attacked i would step in and stop eveything cold. Old-school, 340lbs 6'8... A big ol boy

Baggage to me is when you go into a new relationship expecting the same problems and henceforth act as if it was the previous relationship. Letting go of someone also involves letting go of the pattern of behavior used when interacting with them, that is baggage. I have a boy who turns 8 in june my ex and i get along great and i even get along with her fiancee. I can grab my son and spend time with him whatever whenever wherever i want! In my humble opinion anybody too selfish to realize i need time with my kid aswell as her is not worth my time. If i see any hesitation when i mention my son i generally write the person off on the spot. Neglect time wise is just abuse of a little persons feelings. Once upon a time marriage vows meant something , most importantly "For better or for worse , for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health" . Parting note , at least she was honest and let you know she was not worth it from the start so that you didn't waste any more time on her. When we do what is best for the child we sometimes forget that what is best for the parent is also important for it shows the child that happiness is a good thing. And positive energy and thoughts go a long way to comfort the child. Does your kid act all happy if you are miserable or do they pick up on it and know something is wrong?
