In England, DLA stands for Disability Living Allowance, maybe that might be putting the ladies off.

Complicated dance routines, although an hours worth of headbanging would be quite a feat, I'll give you that.
Re the above post re Lady Gaga, I agree with pretty much all of it but the songs are quite boring aren't they?

Metallica. I refuse to be a "Dancing Queen"
But you wouldn't mind being a "Leper Messiah"?
Re Revolver: Love You To has to be one of the worst songs ever and as revolutionary as Tomorrow Never Knows was with all its tape loops etc it is still a tuneless dirge! "And Your Bird Can Sing" rocks though.

Hi,
There doesn't seem to be a lot of attention given to the greatest art-form created by man on here, so while I am waiting for my inbox to fill up I thought I might right that particular wrong.
Seriously who provides a better soundtrack to your life ABBA or Metallica?
Were the Beatles better before or after Revolver?
Who provides a more accurate portrait of the human condition Britney Spears or My Chemical Romance?
It's kinda hard to define Pop Music and sure a lot of it is rubbish but why listen to screeching guitars while somebody shouts some drivel over the top when you could listen to The Pet Shop Boys, Katy Perry, The Partridge Family, Wham, Girls Aloud, Take That (when there were five of them), Solange, Rose Royce, Sister Sledge, The Monkees....the list goes on and on.
Mr Cat let me introduce you to the pigeons

"Especially when your young! " should be "Especially when you're young" in case you're after a grammar fanatic.

Judging by most people's music taste on here it would be a positive advantage to be deaf!

You look a bit scared in that third picture but apart from that I'd ask you out if I lived in Sheffield.

As I was just telling somebody else, how are you going to have any time for this guy you're looking for with all those other interests, there just aren't enough hours in the day!

The Legend: Jimi Hendrix
Posted:

Actually I once watched a documentary that made me feel a little sorry for Jimi and the way he was hijacked by the hippies as some kind of poster child. It seemed like he was a very good guitarist who liked to show off (cunnilingus on his guitar etc) and was more of an old fashioned showman than some counterculture icon. I mean do his albums get progressively worse or progressively better? Another Monkees connection he has is that he attended a gig by Mike Nesmith's country band a couple of days before he died.

I think he learnt a thing too when he supported the Monkees.
