So, I just watched the movie "Yes Man" the other night...and it got me to thinking.

Are there things in life that you wish you would have or could have said YES to??

I think with winter and cold weather finally leaving, a lot of us are feeling a little bit more adventurous, and some examples just might get us thinking about leaving our computers and heading out to experience more things, and maybe meet more people.

I often wonder why I do certain things...sometimes tough to admit, never mind figure out. I could never start focusing too much attention on why OTHERS do some of the things they do...

K...I'm kind of a newbie! There is no **** rack on the Fatboy I have been riding on the back of. I am too chicken to head all the way to Red Deer without one (and it looks SOOO good without one...lol!)

Do you guys ride around the Edmonton area any time?

Okay...if the highway between Leduc and Red Deer (aka for this weekend: THE place to party) is not bad by 5pm, I am on it!!! So, if anyone else will be in town tonite and looking for something to do, some of us are heading to Billy Bob's and Bellini's tonite!

Can't WAIT to see old friends, and meet new ones!

reasons for ending friendships

I just went through this exact situation, the last year or so. I considered this guy one of my best friends in the world; we did not hang out much, but talked on the phone for hours at a time, and discussed everything happening in our lives with each other. This person chose to end our friendship abruptly about a year ago, and to this day, I have not yet received (though I have asked repeatedly) an answer as to why. I have chosen not to renew my friendship with this person, even though they meant the world to me. I can not be a friend (especially a close one) with someone who can willingly walk away from our friendship seeminly easily and quickly.

It does NOT make sense, and I believe the reasons should be disclosed.

Wild West has a live band tonite called Hey Romeo. I have never heard of them, but this bar is ually a lot of fun!! Hope to see some POFfers out there tonite!

Friday is Econoline Crush, State of Shock, and Rattpoison. Ticket costs are $15 in advance, more at the door.

SATURDAY is just the band CRUSH. They are local, and really, really good. I believe the cost is just whatever the cover charge is.

Fox is getting clarification on this.....

I just found out that Crush is playing at Jet Nightclub (used to be King's Knight Pub) on 34th Ave in Edmonton on the South end this Saturday night!!!

If you have ever seen this band play, you know how amazing they are.

Well, since I moved back to the area, I have not been out with my Edmonton Area POF friends, so I figured I would start this thread and see who wants to come out!!!

Hey, this totally sucks, but looks like I will likely have to bail on this. I got quite a few text messages from friends in Edmonton saying they don't want me on the highway today (sheesh, it's like they KNOW how I drive or something...lol!)

Hey, AntiElvis. Sorry to keep this SO off-topic, but I just kind of want to clear things up for myself.

Trust me...I understand as well as anyone else how difficult it can be to meet a quality person, on this site, or anywhere. However, the point I was trying to make was the post regarding "six-pack abs". It was suggested that if he had them, he felt he would do better with women on this site. I just found that negative, and don't think it's true (or at least I hope not).

I really didn't want to turn this into a big (and yes, totally redundant) issue. Sorry. Maybe I just should have emailed the writer personally.

Hmmm...okay, backcountry...I think this has to be said (although this is NOT what this thread is about)...I am sure that just because a guy HAS six-pack abs does not mean he will get a date before anyone else. If you are not getting a response you want, maybe look at what your initial emails say.

OK...less than a week away!!! Wow, TC...I can't believe you took on another of these events! Can't WAIT! You always put on a GREAT event!

So...for anyone feeling kinda shy or nervous about attending the big event at Wild Bill's by themselves (it can be pretty intimidating for most), or for anyone who just wants to show up and have a good time and a couple of drinks and meet some people before the event, the pre-meet is at my house again!!

For obvious reasons, I will not post the address or my phone number in the forums, but if you are interested in coming, send me a message. I will send you the address and directions, and my cell number for in case you get lost.

This is a GREAT way to meet a dozen or so people and get to know them before heading out to the large event. EVERYONE is welcome!! Bring friends if you would like.

Like last time, I will be supplying mix and snacks. Just bring whatever you want to drink. I have had some emails from brand-new POFfers, so it looks like this should be a GREAT time!!!
