First let me say This is MY Opinion and if you do not like read my profile first becouse what I have to say in responce is already there; OP_Let me try to state my thought on the matter this way Sir, MOST Women are more to the social graces side of things, they will use more tact and softer words to make their statements and usually go with the group. MOST men are more approval seeking and but have a stronger opinionated side and are less easily moved by other statements. However I really rather detebate a man than have to confront a women any day, at least men are more consistant with thier words and actions.

So in essences you are encouraging him to be dishonest and a liar. I also ask what is considered a long time ago being this is apparently a relative term. The OP is nineteen years of age. So I can assume this is a Youngman we are referring to who is giving up his virginity not having a one night stand. So what is a long time ago here? Two or three years, I was a virgin a long time ago but that was twenty-nine years ago. Furthermore I ask what happened to basis of the friends’ first idea about having a sexual encounter! I do not always answer my friends bluntly, however if I have to lie to my friends I do not consider them friends in the beginning. Maybe I am wrong here but it is my stand that we who are the elders ought to give more thought to our answer and consider what the message we send about values, ethics, boundaries and morals when we provide advice and answers to such a questions to the younger generation. He needs to tell her the truth about the situation and let them decide how they want to approach this matter. I am of the opinion the OP_ was asking for thoughts and ideas about what can be done when the when the protection and precautionary measures that were or could be employed ether failed or were not used. This was when there was a chance and other methods that could have been employed and were not. The first precautionary measure which should have been used was a birth control pill, which apparently was not used if she has become pregnant. And yes I am assuming this, and I am aware there are a possibility of failure, and the risk of STDs. The second tried and true method that has been used for centuries, the condom broke, an unfortunate and rare occasion that seldom happens. The third recourse of precautionary measures was not with his means to force this decision but his wishes were made clear and thus so stated. The morning after pill which was her decision which she choose not to use was the third option. Then there are a few other possibilities and choices that could be considered after this point which seemed to not have been brought up by the OP but I regress. Therefore he is now stuck with the consequences of their action, an even that has transformed into an accidental pregnancy. A Pregnancy he did not want but a situation he is being forced into, that is if it is a real pregnancy, and IF it is his offspring. So the question is not what should he have done, but what can he do now. If I was answering him, which I did not due to this OP being posted four years ago, I would urge him to contact a Lawyer in this matter of possible entrapment (my opinion). Furthermore I state that thought due to a previous experience may years ago I had an ex-girl friend try to pull the same scenario on me to get me back into a relationship with her. I could go on about this matter especially those who stand and judge the situation with so Little Information but I do not see any point in wasting any more of my time to try to convince closed minded judgmental uninformed person to try to be a little more open minded. Although I will put down again for the record, as I have it stated differently in my profile; age is a number and nothing more too some people. My Ex wife was + 20 my age and I have had several LTR (Longer than 1 Year) that were much older than I and another that was much younger. Again, the age difference was never the factor for the relationships not working out.
