A lot of the negative comments posted here about men can also be applied toward women; ie emails forever, doesn't want to meet, never married means someting is wrong with them. Yet those comments can only be applied to a small portion of the men and women out there. They're just the ones that stick in your mind. I've met and dated a lot of women in my time. Women who are beautiful inside as well as outside. Yet none of them could capture my heart. Knowing a loveless marrage is doomed from the start, I keep looking. Somewhere out there is Thee woman for me and I won't settle for anyone else. If you think there is anything wrong with that, then you aren't her.

The call for the underwear is part of the panties for peace campaign launched by rights activists in Montreal. Activists say the campaign's meant to send a message to Myanmar's junta who reportedly fear contact with women's underwear will sap their power. "Panties for Peace". Canadian women are being asked to send their panties to the Myanmar embassy in Ottawa to protest the actions of the country's military junta. This is really going to help. This is classic leftism. Just do a bunch of stuff that doesn't mean anything. It's just absurd, stupid, ridiculous embarrassing stuff that's not going to make one hill of beans difference in the process of getting aid to the people in the old Burma. Lighten up. If this insults the Myanmar junta then I say go for it. And don't worry, I doubt if you'll be getting any panties anytime soon.

Marketable? Does that mean there's a store where you can go and pinch the product to see if it's ripe? Are there women actually sitting on a shelf waiting for a man to come along, put them in their cart and take them home with them? Are they seperated by age, color or size? I gotta find me that store!!!!!!!! What's the name of this marvelous place? Wives For the Socially impaired? I do forsee a problem if they have a Jr Miss department.

I would have to say there must have been some initial attraction, but as in real life, as they got to know you better, the attraction wasn't sustained. Why? Could be a number of reasons and not necessarily your fault. You have a nice profile, but people tend to see what they want to see. Mankind may have perfected communication into an art form, but like all art, everyone has their own interpretations. My advise is the same as most of the other posters, be patient.

Music is only a small part of one's personality. There's also your taste in humor, clothes, food, cars, movies and the list goes on. Also what you consider to be good taste, someone else might disagree. It doesn't make either of you wrong, only different. I don't think Charles Manson's taste in music would make any woman want to date him.

Why not? If you have never talked with him/her before, why shouldn't they have sent out a rose? They're looking too. Also, as some of the posts have stated, there are a lot of different reasons as to why they sent one, or two, or more. If you're getting into something more of a long term relationship, then I think it would be nice if they told you up front who and why they sent one to avoid any misunderstandings. Until the two of you are exclusive, I don't see a problem with it.

I'm not into the bar scene and my work schedule has made it almost impossible to meet nice single women. That is why I've never married and also why I am here. Does that mean I should wear an ash cloth and chant "Unclean". When I find the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with, I hope she won't be shallow and dismiss me because I've never been married and divorced 16 times. I don't look at marriage as a trap designed by the female sex, but as a total commitment to a very special person.

Being a single parent himself, he should have understood your hectic schedule and been more patient. Your daughter comes first in your life, so don't make excuses for being there for her. It sounds to me that he likes you very much and was frustrated when he couldn't see you as often as he wanted. He needs to grow up some more and not be so needy. When I was a little kid I used to sleep walk. I would go downstairs and watch TV. It didn't make any difference if it was on or not, I would watch it anyway. My mother or dad would tell me to back to bed and, being the good little boy that I was, I would stand up, go back upstairs and go back to bed. Til the next night. lol
