Moving on or wait?
Posted: 3/24/2013 1:59:25 AM
Okay geez , sounds a little like myself , anywho I Broke- up with my ex just over 6 months ago after being together 21/2 yrs ,I waited for him to come back to me .. I was understanding of his ISSUES and gave him space , we still had a lot of phone contact .. But realised even though I loved him it appeared he didn't feel the same .. So I officially put myself back on the market so to speak a month ago .. You've just got to try and move on .. Funnly enough I'm enjoying my new found freedom , and still hopeful there will be someone out there that won't waste my time ;) ps the ex has started calling again .. Think he realises I've moved on from him .. Now he can wait .. A long time ...

If you like her tell her , if she has a problem with the amount of text/ communication , I'm sure she'd let you know ... I personally love a wake up morning text .. Just brightens my day ;) good luck :)

Chatting with a man that says he has been stalked a few times.
Posted: 3/24/2013 1:17:31 AM
I'm much in agreeance with the posters .. I think if someone is being stalked that much he'd deactivate his profile and begin with a new one , but in saying that I think it's all hooha .. I'd keep guarded

Middle Age Romance
Posted: 3/24/2013 12:58:12 AM
Age is simply a number , romance / love etc etc , can happen at any age ... Just when you're more "ah hm"more mature it is on a deeper level .. Not so much about the physical .. Don't get me wrong , there still has to be a physical attraction that's just human nature .. It just is not the be all and end all .. Just saying ;)

Is it better to be alone Or settle for someone that is not Your type.
Posted: 1/3/2008 9:43:40 PM
I am fussy not frustrated ,so i would rather be alone ,than alone in love so to speak ,will never" just settle" out of fear that i might end up alone ..I have a close friend who felt time was running out for her ,so begun a relationship ,married had children ,all to someone who was not compatable with her and is miserable in a loveless marriage .
But there is a saying that love does not happen in a minute ,it takes time to build true love through patience ,understanding .But the thing is are you prepared to wait for it to happen whilst in settling mode ?

Interesting , maybe i am a combination of ,diamonds, hearts and clubs .As for spades a little of that ,well for me that means that once a relationship has ended completely and no going back, then i bury it .Now what about strip poker hmmm.

Your happiest when??????
Posted: 8/9/2007 8:52:01 PM
I am happiest when ,my daughter tells me i am a great mum and she loves me, when all my hardwork is rewarded with a nice paypacket ,when i spend it all on myself (i can only dream that one ,but it would make me very happy though). And when you had made love(sex) whatever ,and actually loved the person you made love too .

simple question - do you believe in a god?
Posted: 7/14/2007 6:41:47 PM
Pedantic discussions on the proveability of any 'GOD' is pointless . On the flipside of the coin , if someone is curious in finding out" why "a person has faith, that is a entirely different issue, having faith is different than a set form of religious beleifs . As for me i am a non-believer,i am more interested in how we came to be (yes i know how i got here it's called "procreation" people
) and what maybe other life forms are beyond the clouds (no not My Favorite Martian, but then again)

The chickens AND the eggs
Posted: 2/24/2007 2:03:53 AM
It is not only chickens that suffer a life in a cage. There was a programe i watched awhile back about caged & crated pigs and how they had suffered in close confinement ,mainly breeding sows ,the sows were unable to excercise or had enough space to even turn around throughout their pregnancy . When it was time for the sow to give birth , the sow was moved to an equally restricting farrow crate ,thankfully this practice of tethering is now banned is NSW .

WHAT!!! I'M NOT EVERYONES TYPE (ego has crash landed, somewhere in Antarctica)
Just kidding people
It's not an issue with me ,i'm not going to be shattered if someone messages back with "sorry not interested" it's their own personal preference on what appeals to them ,as i have the same ,i respect that ,as i would hope someone would respect me for mine.

Romance is it dead?
Posted: 2/12/2007 2:42:26 AM
A very dear friend of mine sent this to me..
Romance/love= Euphoria
Romance orchestrates a calculated feeling of expectation ....the waltz where the spinning of love begins..... love is built over time not in a minute the dance of love should be slow ,sensual , and taking time to get to know the other person to the fullest ,hence why romance is so important at the beginning ,during and until the last breath takes it away.
when is it my turn ,i want to learn howto do the waltz lol...

joyce1000,
I am in complete agreement with showbags about the questionaire.Meeting/chatting with someone likened to a job interview or an audition for a potential relationship is just so cold.
Taking a chance is just the first step, your attitude about yourself and how you expect others to treat you ,comes through in your way of communication with others.

linny,
As genuinegoddess said "Trust yourself ".We all at some stage in our lives been hurt by someone ,and yes learning to trust again is hard at times ,but always remember there are plenty of fish in the sea “amongst” the sharks, enjoy the fact you have a choice on "who "you wish to correspond with and share yourself with , go with your instinct"s but most of all enjoy yourself whilst on here ,but don't forget ,there is the real world as well .
You just never know who is out there waiting "just for you" if you stay bogged in a self -imposed quagmire of past hurts.Keep chatting to the guy and go from there .

Romance is it dead?
Posted: 2/8/2007 4:12:39 AM
Romance is not a once or twice a year thing. It's not reserved for special occasions, or your in the mood for some nooky, It's about sharing, communicating and giving of yourself it is all the little and big things you do to say, "I love you" and to let someone know how special he or she is ,that is romance.Valentines day does not have to be about over priced gifts ,just run me a bubble bath and pamper me would be enough ohhh and maybe a box of chocolates ,i can work those off later

Saying Goodbye
Posted: 1/8/2007 1:58:51 AM
We walked into each others worlds,
Not because we had to,
Not because we choose to,
But because we were compelled to.
There was not a single moment of thought,
Only mindless movement towards a single goal,
That of loving, touching, needing, fulfilling,
The ultimate happiness joined together.
Once the first touch was experienced,
The first kiss explored,
Our eyes locked forever in our minds,
How life broke into that haze,
Brushing us apart,
Both mentally, physically, emotionally,
Will always be regrettable.
Moving forward,
I will take you with me.
My heart, and soul still holding you near,
Even while letting you go.

Witches
Posted: 1/8/2007 1:09:36 AM
I 'm curious, when asked what my religion is, i usually tell people i'm an agnostic , which is kind of like being a somewhat of a fence sitter, being that there is no proof for "me "that there is or isn't a particular god/gods.. its a bit more complicated then that but thats the basic gist.. personally i prefer going by my own beliefs/ideas rather then an organised religions, and ive always thought that everything is connected to each other.. which i have heard is very closely tied in with the wicca beliefs..

Are Children Growing Up Too Fast?
Posted: 1/3/2007 8:54:03 PM
You have a point "sparticuss"
As for the curfews ,my girl is only 14yrs and is enjoying being a teen ,but not to the point of being on the streets at all hrs of the night ,drinking ,smoking pot and sleeping around (actually she thinks thats just stupid ),like alot of others out in the big wide world ,she is still my responsibility Until the legal voting age .Over protective "no" i just take my roll of being a parent seriously .
Nineteen and no job and still at home ,probably means they have had it far too easy .i think they are called "KIPPERS"

How do women feel about themselves?
Posted: 1/3/2007 8:27:45 PM
Okay for your question on "How do women feel about themselves?" it all depends on the time of the month it is (it's a hormonal thing guys
)
Next >>i like my breasts the way they are.
As for the cosmetics i hardly ever wear makeup ,so when i have to throw out, old /past the used by date rarely used cosmetics and then on the odd occasion i need makeup ,i do buy from the cut price section ,perfume , skin and hair care is another matter i do tend to spend a little more on those.

When i am messaged or someone new comes into the aussie forums i always check out the profiles ,just to get an idea "who" and "what" they are about .But i agree with a few of the posters here ,the "one" liners are indeed a turn off .

What is your favorite traditional/cultural food?
Posted: 12/27/2006 1:36:21 PM
My mother being polish ,we had polish traditional food at times,
Potato and Cheese Pierogi
Golabki (Stuffed Cabbage)Golabki is the Polish word for pigeon, but don't be put off, you don't need to use pigeon
you can use minced meat or pork instead.
kielbasa(smoked sausage ) and Sauerkraut.
Having an aussie father ,we had most of the time aussie food ,
three veg and meat(potatoes,carrots,beans)
roast leg of lamb with baked vegetables
meat pies and sausage rolls(must be an aussie thing
)
sausages (got to love those)
on one occasion we had kangaroo( was strong in taste ,and tough)
Rabbit(don't go for that much)
chicken ,boiled, roasted stirfried ,soups etc etc .

your guy tells your child a sexy joke
Posted: 12/26/2006 8:48:19 AM
Any adult be it a "male" or "female" telling an inappropriate joke to or around my child, would not be tolerated and they would find themselves recieving a severe telling off or smack in the mouth .Even though my girl is almost 15yrs old and has more than likely heard far worse from her school mates ,i still think hearing the same joke from an adult is not the done thing, and i would be seriously wondering about the adults mindset .

Butcher vs. the Grocery Store?
Posted: 12/24/2006 4:50:40 PM
Definitely the butcher ,it might cost a little more ,but the quality is far superior than from a crocery store ,but if you want convenience and do all your grocery shopping at once then the store is a better option ,just a case of quality over convenience .
