Sharing feelings with ex would this be bad

Telling her how you feel is not the problem. Communication is always a good idea.
What is the issue is that she has a place to be that you so generously provided. If she doesn't have a house payment then she has the gas money to make the commute. Where I live it is not uncommon for a 1 1/2 to 2 hour commute. If her car isn't up for it then since she doesn't have a mortgage payment she can get a reliable used car.
You are both make excuses to stay in the same house. Set some boundaries.

Terminology Question: Dating vs. Hang Out vs Friends

I guess I'm the odd one.
To me:
dating is the traditional going out, he pays, he brings flowers etc.
hang out is someone to pal around with so that your not going out alone (probably nothing more).
friends is let's start slow no strings attached (possible dating down the line).
But again I seem to be out numbered.

Can Anyone Relate to Dating a Woman who is Bi-Polar?

Thank you LakeCountyGal.
Most of what I am reading is about people who either refused meds or didn't take them as prescribed. It takes both meds and therapy to be healthy with a mental illness. A deep knowledge of self and limitations to control any illness. Even a diabetic has to take meds and control their diet.
To condem the whole for what a part has done is immature.
The bulk of this is simular to me saying that I dated a guy with brown hair who would get drunk and abuse me so now I won't date brown haired guys. It's illogical.
It takes honest and open communication about all things for a relationship to work.
