Daily Mail - Women complaining that men over 40 dont want to give them a child
Posted: 7/4/2009 2:57:12 PM | Interesting article in the Daily Mail about a 42 year old woman who put her career first until now is complaining that men over 40 dont want to have children.
The woman says quote "Due to men I cant have a child. Its not right".
A number of men replied saying that they had children when they were younger and their ex partners / wives had put them off having more children for life!
One man in particular said he was a devoted husband and father but after catching his wife in bed with someone the marriage fell apart. He said he lost 70% stake in the house, 50% of his pension, he pays 20% of his income in maintenance and his ex plays games re letting him see the children.
Another guy said that due to the laws and society being totally weighted towards women, its hardly surprising men who have been married etc before would remotely consider going through it again.
In the same paper a Judge ruling on pre-nuptual agreements said marriage is no longer for life and it is a fact of modern life that relationships fail regularly.
Given women usually have residency of children and as such are awarded the lions share of finances, is it any wonder why the women who wrote into the paper says what she has? | | | |
