what I am miffed about though is that there is still no "up" button in Explorer, I cant find an easy way to get it back either.

took a while to download, to many users trying to get it I suppose.
took less than an hour to download 2.3GB here
I must say I like it : ) The performance on netbooks is fast I must admit :) It seems faster than XP, must be better memory management

They never made an RC2 for Windows 7. RC1 was the last pre-released version before Windows 7 went RTM.
typo, how embarrasing!
Finished downloading now, I'm going to put it on my Samsung NC10 and see how it goes, as I'd expect it'd be tuned for running on netbooks now

I wonder how different it is from RC2, time to get my grubby mitts on it and find out! Anyone else tried the RTM out?

Image backups?

I've always found Acronis to work fantasically :) For both Linux and Windows systems. For my data backups I use Karens Replicator to backup to a removable hard disk

Yet another reason why you should not use AVG

I am forced to put AVG into the same basket as AntiVir, once great but now ruined by marketing ploys.
Been using Avira AntiVir for ages now and its wonderful :) You can just use a path rule to stop avnotify.exe from running (the pop up nag)

I noticed someone on here earlier today who I've had my eye on for a while (i hope she doesnt read this!) as she works in a local pub and she has served me a fair few times over the last year or two, but i doubt she knows my name, but I know hers.
She says on her profile she likes the traditional idea of guys being romantic, so I guess I need to make the first move.
Trouble is, Im scared of what to write in the first message, I dont want to put her name in it becuase she might find that creepy that I knew. She seems a lovely girl and the last thing I want is to see "Read - deleted" or even "unread - deleted" in my sent box.
Would it be best just to come out with the truth in the first message, just say a quick hi, or comment on something in her profile and hope she replies??
thanks

I used it a while ago, but I thought it was still in its infancy and had too many issues. I had very little sucess getting basic software to run. Maybe I was expecting too much? I had more luck in Linux Mint using Wine.
Its a nice idea though....

I've never done this before and never seem have the best luck with women, I want to make sure what I've written is half decent and would appreciate some input / feedback /criticism (whichever) on my profile from people who are, shall we say, more experienced than me...
thanks
