Speaking about BLIND spots...they passed a law in Michigan allowing the blind to hunt deer. Apparently, even the deer voted for it.

Single (never married at all) men over 45
Posted: 4/22/2007 4:34:22 AM
I was an older man ( 41 ) when I married for the first and only time. I was always asked...' why haven't you been married ' and my answer was always quite simple: " I haven't met someone that I want to see everyday." Sometimes it is that simple.

Help me I'm almost 50.....
Posted: 4/21/2007 6:43:56 PM
When I was a kid I was asked..." What do you want to be when you grow up?". I'm sure I didn't say..." Wrinkled ". Of course, I'm another on this site that looks years younger than my age. Yeah, right.

From the horses mouth?

Well, I'm desperate to meet a female accountant who likes moonlight walks on the beach and holding hands. If we could meet before the end of April, that would be great.

Why is it so hard to find a relationship when one is middle aged?
Posted: 4/21/2007 11:27:26 AM
I don't really know how difficult it is to find a relationship at my age. For the past couple of years I have found myself in a very comfortable position. These chairs aren't called ' Laz-E-Boys ' by accident.

Have you been tempted to lie about your age?
Posted: 4/21/2007 5:28:35 AM
This is probably true for all of us. So many of my good friends died before the age of 40. I just turned 60. I don't lie about my age...I brag about it.

Burnt Out on Online Dating

The internet is like arranging your own blind date. Stay home or take your chances. In my lifetime , I've had so many blind dates that I should get a parking sticker but most were actually fun.

' Tit for Tat '. This expression has always confused me and I'm 60 years old. If you dont know what a ' Tat ' is, then how do you know if it's a good trade?

Egocentric...quick to take offence
Posted: 4/13/2007 6:39:52 AM
After reading countless posts by you, it is my opinion that you have been rarely misinterpreted... unless of course the real culprit is your lack of good grammar and punctuation. You asked " How do we deal with this type of person?" The real question is..."How should the ladies deal with you."

Usually I try to keep my home reasonably clean but sometimes things ' slide '. Yesterday I was looking at all the ' dust bunnies ' laying around and I couldn't bring myself to disturb them. Isn't Easter a national holiday for bunnies?

I agree with Claypot. MIX IT UP. My ex and I used to play ' strip scrabble'. If you spelled a word that didn't exist, you had to take everything off. How was I to know that ' tuggonit ' wasn't a word?

active vs homebody...can it work?
Posted: 3/31/2007 7:08:33 PM
A lifestyle compromise would be the best solution. Perhaps you could redecorate part of the gym and rent a room there or simply put some weights and a treadmill in your basement. Maybe you could take drum lessons to prove you care. I don't think it's a love match.

what did you miss?
Posted: 3/24/2007 11:32:00 AM
I was circumsized at birth so I missed out on walking for the first year. Didn't miss out on mumps, poison ivy, measles or chicken pox. At age 8, I showed her mine but Janes' was missing ... it was many years later that I stopped feeling sorry for her. I didn't get to knock on doors in the name of Jesus but I never missed a chance to watch Jim and Tammy Faye. I did miss several payments but they seemed to be doing ok. I missed out on having my own kids but not the anxiety when she was late. Actually, I don't miss that. That's it...I've missed enough for one day.

Changing What You Are Looking For...
Posted: 3/11/2007 5:28:40 AM
I've given this question a lot of thought. I have not changed what I'm looking for. I will surrender my heart, soul and any possible inheritance to the woman of my dreams. I WILL NOT give up the remote.
