bouffon :Well it looks like this could get real big. If there was any one who owned some farm land that would be willing to let the party go there. A week end event this could turn out to be. Getting the date and place nailed down soon would be a great asset as the calender fills fast and there is only so many week ends of good summer. Myself like you will be state side on the 21-24 of June Going to rondevous. ( did I spell that right) That is a place all on its own. If you have ever been to lake placid that is a good ride. Betterthen has quite the list of interested people so every one needs to look for a place that can handle the crowd that will follow. I have no real preferance as long as there is a beer store near by

boufon I would be interested in this event . There was some one trying to do it last summer but organizeing is a big task. It looks like you have a lot of volunteers. I like the idea of a poker run. That way you don't have to get everyone at the same place at the same time have them leave in groups of 5-10 and a route written out to follow. And a finishing place where you can either stay and camp or go home. I went on a poker run done by the Scar HOG and it was well organized and had a great route with lots of nice back roads.

Nope the POF's events are not set up like a meat market. Its a MEET place. and a neat place. Here I go rhyming again. I used to live down the street from Tapps it was brand new when I lived there. Helped christen the patio. Missyd if you read a few other forums from other parties you will seee that they are all very good and above board. no one is going to hassle you. Now since I went there years ago andi work round the corner i might as well try to make this one. guys do attend it's just the ladies are faster typers

I watch it a lot and he would be a great doc to share drugs with. Just what you need a vicodin addicted doctor diagnosing patients. If you watch it closely he never get's it right. It is always some one else or something that gives him the brain fart to figure out the illness

Viserem How long you been riding? If you have ever been to Dover then you would know. The old barn or what ever on the left as you drive into town just before the Timmies was the Choice parking / party spot. When they were in talks with the Angels they also park there . Now it is their spot. Have ever seen the parade of colors? Thats when the walk uptown and show off who they are. One year there was angels on one side of the street and outlaws on the other. opp in the middle. Sure there is lots of other bikes to see but try to get to the show and shine. crowded to the max. Nope Im not makeing any of it up. And for vendors. Ha! Personally myself I have been there and bought the tshirt. Sure yuppie wannabe's and all the commercial stuff have taken over the whole scene. So yes it's a holiday no longer in my mind a biker spot. Rest of you should really open your eyes when your there. Have fun.

Well I think jumping out of bed and running to the toilet. is my biggest turn off. Can't you just lie there for a little while ? Talking about work or the kids. Big NO NO I get up and go watch tv. What you finished ? That quick? Won't kiss after going south of the border.

When you get on the escalator and people want to walk up it. It's there for me to be lazy. Food courts. Loud / crowded/ people leaveing their trays and garbage on the tables. Clotheing stores where the clerk hasn't a clue . Music stores where the Emo kid behind the counter whines about life. Your 17 for Christ sakes what do you know about life. Mall security / bullet proof vest's and a flashlight??????????

What's with all the t/p on the face advice? If he gets a knick use a septic pencil. You buy them right along the razors and it may sting a little but it is far better then walking around with t/p stuck to your chin I prefer the mach4 with the little vibrateing head. it works for me I found I got to much of a rash with a electric. From all of everything else I read I have to agree. Good luck and if all else fails grow a beard.

It was the KNOB HILL HOTEL before it became caddy's. We learned a lot about drinking and girls back then. We would drink and shot pool with the girls and a lot were real decent Sure there was a few losers but it was before it got real seedy and low life. The dancers would get a bunch of us together and Fri night after their set we would go out dancing . Never dated a dancer as that was one thing they always said not to do.

I just have a ear piercing and I would like to get my nipple done but I hate needles. Can't even get a blood test with out breaking out in a sweat. But I really don't like tongue pierceings/ the labret is nice and a small eyebrow on also . A women can look very sexy with these. Nipples and the secret place are also great and these the woman can use as a surprise for their lover. If you get anything it has to be prurely your choice alone and not be influinced. All people heal differently. My one son had a industrial in the top of his ear and it took months to heal My other son has his lower lip done and it healed really well even the piercer was impressed as to how well it healed. my wife got her belly done and it took close to a year to heal up. Me I still hate needles.

Honestly Fri 13th is not as much fun as it used to be. Been there done that bought the tshirt. Fri 13th was way better before all the stupid radio stations got involved. It was for bikers. Now it is a giant commercial rip off. Took close to 1 1/2 hrs to get into dover last time and thats at the 13kilometer mark. The crowds have grown to crazy proportions Prices for water and food went up. Every rotary club and hockey team out to make money off you. Been to lots of them and seen the changes. Yes there is lots of cool bikes and lots to see but the hassle getting in past police spot checks were they decide who they want to hassle and getting out with breathalyzerse. its not worth the head ache. So No I won't be going but no one will miss me.

I worked 7:30pm -4am for the last 4 years steady. It took a long time to get used to it and the ride home was a killer. I could not get to sleep right when I got home so I stayed up until 9am and forced myself to sleep. Never got a full 8hrs sleep It went Sun to Fri and I hated going in on a Sun especially in the summer when everyone is still partying on a sunny Sun eve. I found I gained 25 lbs as I was trying to eat at different times. Now I m finally on steady 3:30am -12pm and I like that a whole lot better. I get home and ina hour it feels like I never went to work. I walk out side and am starting to lose the weight

Back in the 80's we went to the Grey Cup Parties going on in the King Edward Hotel in toronto. The two teams I don't remember but we went from bar to bar cheering for what ever team had the bigger support crowd. Well after a while out in the lobby we get into a shouting match team against team. So some one decide that we should play the grey cup now. There we were at least 15 guys lined up playing touch football in the King Edward Hotel. All was going good until some dropped the football and broke the beer bottle we were using. Along came security and boy did the place empty fast.

Dirt is dirt. It could be nothing and then again yes it could be adultery. What does it matter we all have made mistakes in life No one is perfect . If we were there would be no need for web sites like this. Her husband was already up set so anything would upset him more and all people react differently to news. You never really know a person until they are pissed off. Yes you can know some one 27 yrs and not know they are alkies. A alcoholic is one of the worlds best actors. I know as I had a freind who is and he fooled a lot of people for years. It only shows as they get worse. We also told him to clean up or get lost and he is lost. So she did the right thing in speaking her mind. Do you really want two alkies living with you./ One being her brother which would mean where ever there is a family do they both would be there. People who live in glass house should not throw stones. That is a saying that i have tried to live by. So if I do something bad and I have done lots bad, do I want it discovered years down the road? Because no matter how good you think you hide things they always come back to haunt you. Do some damage control with the family and freinds explain that she is being vindictive. Explain that what ever she says will be exagerated. Hope that they will understand and forgive your dirt from the past and come clean to your husband about anything else that she might dig up and you know she is digging.

Never a passenger always the rider. I have to agree with the majority.Riding is to be respected. You have to constantly watch for the other guy. I have had some bad passengers and some great ones. The wife used to get sleepy on the back of our Goldwing But on the newer Harley she isn't as comfortable. Loud pipes. Indian Larry was standing on his bike while going down the road. Sure he had done it lots of times and it was his signature trick But he went down didn't he ? Seats are for seating.

Was looking at your profile great looking bike are you going to get one of the same or try another type? Painter a OPP!!! let me guess he didn't see you beside him? Was he charged? A freind once told me there are two types of riders one's who have been down and one's who are going to go down. As riders we all have to keep our eyes open for the other person because they nevr see use until it's to late. Loud Pipes saves lives. I never thought that true until I put louder pipes on my bike and yes they do actually make people look to see where you are. On the sport bikes hinkle make a nice roar

Prepare to be amazed at how fast it is becoming a ghost town. With the Gm announcements about clousures . It needs to be reborn. I guess that is what the politicians are attempting. We stopped going to Lakeview park on Canada day as the group dynamics were changeing to the worst ever. Oshawa Ajax Whitby are all post war towns that just sprung up for returning vets and familys so the towns are old and grungy. they need infastructure so they can stay new and attract new industry. So Iguess the politicians thought they should get away from the gm sounding logo. Logo still sucks.

Well Thanks people . Yes Ive done pot before It was weaker then it is nowadays. most times pot is laced with some things else to get them to move on up. Ive done Pot, hash, acid, mushrooms, lsd, coke. So I do talk to them with some bad trip experiance. Ive seen good friends fry thier brains and some that still owe thousands in debt to drugs. No Im not a anti user. But people want to do what they want. As a adult that is their choice. Im just trying to show them the bad side. He just finished grd 12 and is now going to look at college. So hope fully he will put energy into that. I like the idea of volunteer help. I will look into that. I told him we should drive down town T.O. and get a good look at what you can become. But the famous words that Im sure we have all said is it won't happen to me. We have tried to keep them occupied and the younger son plays hockey but no summer sport. The older one hates sports. no team activitey at all for him. As for fighters ,ever tried to take down a 200lb man high on pcp? can't be done. Ask a cop who has tried. I knew a guy so high on pcp that he broke his leg and still walked around all night. It cuts out all pain sensors.

OK well here is my problem. I have 2 teen boys 16 &18 . I have already suspected that my 18 was using but finally he came clean and said he was. But it's just pot he says. I have tried to expalin that there is no good reason to use any drug. He claims that things in this town are so boring that there is nothing else to do. He lent a buddy $50 and now has had fist fights to get it back. All drug related. I am trying hard to let him grow up and learn on his own. But having been down that dark lonely road myself I am probably trying harder to prevent then from going that route. I am no angel and I tell them of my mistakes. hoping that they would really listen. My 16 yr old son watches everything his brother does and they are so close that they will not talk about each other to us. Is any one else out there going through something similar? Any suggestions.?

Went to a nudist resort here in ONT and enjoyed it very relaxing no stareing no comparing. But I would suggest lots of spf40 the little guy hates getting sun burnt. I would go again anytime as it's just skin people. You were born naked

Well details is what we need. Where when to where. Dates etc etc etc . I just did a little 400km ride on Wed. Down to Picton around and up to Eldorado then back home. Its no Iron butt but it was long enough for one day. Now the real iron butt is how Long?

Scorpio Your never out of place when your riding. I know of lots of female riders on this site but they have not found this post yet. I bet riding in Virginia and Vermont was a blast. They have real nice winding highways. We drive down to VA Beach every May to our Condo , and I keep saying I want to ride here one time. OK so there is some interest into going to Dover here. Im up for it. So is any one up to the task of organizing it? Cause you know us Harley sheep we just follow the crowd BAAAA.

Sassy Last time I was in Dover was 2yrs ago. Fri 13th. The hwy into Dover was so packed we sat beside the hwy sign that reads Dover 13km. for 1hr. never moved. It was raining so bad that my starter button shorted out and my starter engaged while the bike was runnig . Need less to say it fried the electrics. Got into Dover cooled off the electrics push started the bike and went home. Never stepped into town. This was on my old Goldwing. Lesson learned here was get into Dover in the way early am to avoid line up's . But I think a cruise into Dover other then the 13th would be a good idea. I hear that the town is really nice and that there is a lot to see. Maybe you can help brian out with a plan to visit there.

Where in Burlington did you all go? I think there must be some one out your way that would help. I once did a run with a bunch of people and there is a lot of organizing to do. you need to make sure of the route you want to take , roads all good , # of traffic lights that would break up the group if some stop, speed limits for new riders, places to stop wether there would be enough room to park say 20 bikes , food ,gas and washrooms, etcetc etc. If you choose to go to a scenic public place is there a fee to get in, We went to Elora gorge years ago and when we got there we did not know you had to pay, so some peole went in and some went to a bar. That broke up the ride real quick. A lot of the organization rides that people go on now are very well planned and perhaps you could approach one of the organizer to give you some tips. My self I look for aplace that people would want to go to but just never thought about it to much.?? I know that sounds weird but think When was the last time you said I should go to Collingwood to look at the caves? But if a ride went there you would think I should have thought of that.. Now I know there is a lot of riders out there so keep workin on it . And I will definately go where ever you plan.

My problem is working the night shift for the past 4 yrs. I gained 25 lbs very fast It took awhile for me to get adjusted to when to eat and sleep. When I got home everyone is having breakfast but Im having supper. Went to a gym and started to lose a few lbs. Doc told me I was putting on more but when I weighed in I was same weight as last year.215lbs. But like all good things there is a bad side. Gym went bankrupt with my $300. membership and now Im trying to do it in my basement. But it is difficult to lift weights and not make noise and wake the family. I tried doing it after I wake in the afternoon but no energy. I was more productive in the early am. I was diagnoised with a hypo thyroid. so it is a slower metabolism. and the Doc told me I was destined to gain wieght. I hate having my picture taken and that was the starting factor to get me motivated when I saw my pic and even I said boy you look fat. I tried Hydroxycut and lost money. Kia25 does the slim in 6 really work? I have seen that infomercial all night long.

Well You live in the Stoney creek area Right? So all you would need to do is go to the tourism office near you and get some maps of the wine region in Niagra. you could set up a small route around the vineyards. With a few stops at some of the vineyards that offer tours and tasting. It doesn't have to be to long or difficult. I find that most people who ride usually find their own fun when they stop. We - a group of my freinds all go to Dorset tower near Huntsville Then into Algonquin for lunch and dinner in Bancroft We finish with coffe in Peterborugh then home. If you wanted to set up some thing with a bbq and party after Tabella is good at organizing. Kai25 where were all you girls when I was single.?

I have a 2003 fxdwg harley dyna wide glide. Went out with the Scarborough chapter of Harley owners group this past Sun and had great ride. These people know their roads and where to stop. Im always looking to go out for a ride read my profile. I had a 1981 Honda Goldwing before that and we rode it for 22years. Just plain wore it out. You should try to set a date and time and get it onto the big board where they post the parties. you would be suprised how many people on here ride. OH HI Tabella. Still waiting for you to go on a ride with me.

Didn't Ernest Hemingway get the running of the bulls all famous? If he hadn't wrote about it it probably would have gone un-noticed. But like every one says there is a sucker born every minute. These people really don't suprise me any more. Thrill seeking is one thing but to the extreme of what is out there now? There was a stupid reality show on this week end about some guys in Finland going around and absolutely mutualating them selves and they think it was funny. Let the bulls stay in the pastures time to drop old stupid traditions. Me I get my kicks on route 66.
