Long hair on older women
Posted: 5/21/2008 7:51:43 PM
I'm 55 ;5ft 3; size 2 & I cut my hair onca a year if it needs it or not. Presently I am coloring the grey, that is the most work I do. I can braid it, french twist it or bun it faster than any of my friends with short hair. I keep it long in the summer so I can wrap it away. Let it grow long for the winter, When I cut it , I cut it short, one length & let it grow again for a year. I don't really care what other people say, its my life, my hair & my choice. My question is what about shorts & short skirts, I'm willing to consider social norms sometimes. No one believes my age, its a mental concept to me.
I have always set my standards regardless of anyone else's opinion, do what you want as long as you want. if your not hurting anyone else it should be Ok, The only person who I would care about would be the opinion of a family member or close friend. I don't really care about the opinion of men, I am much too secure in my opinion of myself to care. I know what my personal value is & that seems to attract more men whether my hair is short or long. Take care of yourself for yourself, your happiness depends on you, not your hair, eyes, leggs or anything else. Abundant happiness & health to all.

hi john,

This is an easy read & has a very personal tag. Besides telling the tale you also cross the lines of human achievement, where you find footing & how. You take the reader from a know nothing kid failing miserable to the glimmer of hope & to sucess. This time i enjoyed the finish of the instructor, completion & finish details matter to me.

The best pilot I ever saw. From my book in progress,

hi john,

The information on the situational awarness interested me more than the story of the harried sidekick. The laspe of the co-pilott was to be expected but enjoyable. I am assuming that the plane landed safely, you left that to the imagination of the reader & techincally something of the passengers in the back should be brought to safety. I hate to fly & have never educated myself about planes & was able to follow the landing methods easily. I like the personality of dan that you brought into play, and the easy story telling method you use. It brings you into the story on a friend basis & is endearing.
