These Low Lands
Weakness of the past
Like vapor in the trenches
These lowlands haunted
By a man clad in frost
All evil deeds done
Are piled up into hills
And visible on the left side
Fields of bad omens
Behind the skyline
The worst noise of the world
Violent crows of this dream
Flying backwards
Open below us
Another swarm grows
Feel like tumors
Which shall return
And every night someone
Moves all the clocks forward
And the sun seems to
Set always at the sunrise
No one leaves this place
No roads out from here
No passing birds ever
Really do pass by
No one entering here
Walks without trembling
No one ever dreams of
The hands of tender fathers ©

The Empty Skies
The dead walk
In the silent world
Oh, how the dead talk
With empty words
Redemption
By thought injection
And the dead march
To the voice of deception
This is now a new beginning
There will be no creation from chaos
No light at the end
Just a faint glimpse of the forgotten
Screaming
Overcome by silence
Suffocated
By the unspoken
And the dead walk
With no fear
And the dead fall
With the horrors of living
Murky demented eyes
Stare at the empty skies
Desperately searching for something
Something that once was there
It's too late for salvation
While falling to oblivion
We are doomed to stagnation
To witness the inverse creation ©

The Justice Of Suffering
I curse the love for you
And the pale souls you have tasted
The sings of filthy passion
Will soon turn to cries of pain
When I claim what is mine
Through the justice of suffering
When the paying of her sins come closer
The night will end in tears
And the moment you dirt her skin with your fingers
You will be sentenced the same
Every second with her I count
And for every second you will suffer too
No light will save them now
When the words of hope have all been spoken
And I wash the blood from my hands
And let them lie silent and cold on the flowers
For my anger is greater
Than the hand that once swept your cheek
And my anger is greater
Than the human I was
I will claim that is mine
Through the justice of suffering
No light will save them now
When the words of hope have all been spoken
And I wash the blood from my hands
And let them lie silent and cold on the flowers
Is this poison in your womb
Worth of the burning flesh
In this pyre of ghost lovers
But every second with her I count
And for every second you will suffer too
The night will end...
It will end in tears soon ©

In The Halls Of Awaiting
Evening full of grandeur, skies tinged with red
Mountains crowned with crimson, treetops with scarlet blaze
As the dusk is falling, night settles in
Stars slowly come out, moon glides skywards
...Still cheerless is in my soul, my heart filled with cares...
Longing for the misty shores, weather-beaten strands so poor
Where the weeping sky arch's over water calm
Pining for primeval woods, murky shade of leafy roof
Where the silent trees arch over our path
Do you walk in mourning, still wear the grief
Raiment of sorrow, remembrance of me
Through the years of bleakness, winters of bitter cold
Will you not forget me, forsake my soul
...Low-spirited is my song, downhearted my tune...
Beyond enchanted sea, wistful is my sleep
Darkness by my side, through the dreary night
Will you follow me, through eternity
To another world, to the quiet halls
I've lost my way in the dark, strayed apart from my love
I've faced the demons of might, passed away into shades
Long are lonely years, slowly pass these days
In undying land, in the divine light
Where I wait...in the dark
The black of the night turns to dusk of the dawn
Through the mist now shines the fairest light of all
The caress I've waited for eternity
Into the shades, together we fade ©

'From the Shadows We Are Silenced'
From the Shadows We Are Silenced,
Within this fading time, silent be our cries.
Fear filled the reckoning, the unseen enemy,
Foreshadowing the dusk now ablaze in distrust.
Fading lives forever, abandoning the better,
Falsified in trust has united our demise.
Stricken to revenge and coped into these lies,
Falling like the hays with fire in their eyes.
An enemy that's sworn foreseen visions of war,
Grief stricken in doubt of what would be no more.
Rivers flow with red whilst discounting all regret,
Unending lives have bled all in one the seed is torn.
An iron fist of hate leaves no remorse in it's wake,
A dying ember breathes but the life does not remain.
Of malice and corruption we all breathe to partake,
Undying mask of treason draws the void into it's place.
The new order upheld with the fallen embraced,
Of imperial wounds instilled a new disease is born.
The scattering of ashes, in silence it lays firm,
In form it stands as one then flees to it's return.

'To a Breathless Cause'
My sins now weep to a ghostly breath,
This pain and sorrow inflicts my death.
This world turned to misery and hate,
All my fears I cannot escape.
Afraid to find the answers I seek,
Tired, worn, numb and weak.
Tears that form mirror the pain inside,
Suffocating into silent cries.
Anger forms then turns to sin,
Searing thoughts unleashed within.
Darkness falls and then descends,
Upon my soul, without end.
Screams of fears I cannot break,
Trapped inside, I see my fate.
Shadows of darkness that whispers lies,
Gleam of solitude unfound, despised.
An epic end and without time,
From clemency, I've been denied.
Robusting shadows in my dreams,
Forms then fades between the screams.
A life once felt now without means,
Beaten down, I scar and bleed.
A solid state crumbles away,
Darkness drives the light in vain.
A cloud of dust from my remains,
A final gasp then breath escapes.
The deepest darkest realm on Earth,
Inflicts the pain of unending hurt.
A selfish mind that I put first,
Letting free the lessons learned.
Shameful greed I've shunned my way,
Withdrawn, I whisk in flames.
From these hands I've seen disgrace,
I look to blame but view displace.
Sending forth with words of hate,
Deception written across my face.
I fall into the eyes of defeat,
The enemy yells and boastfully speaks.
Crushed down I feel so weak,
Ending sorrow but find deceit.
Anger feeds this fire within,
Brushing flames to burn my sin.
Tearing the lies all light is dim,
Evil despised the path to him.
With no avail I feel at loss,
This nightmare holds 'To a Breathless Cause'.

'Whispers in the Forest'
Darkness drives the wind of night, An endless forest with endless sight,
Trees sway at the constant beat, Of the trembling at the ground beneath.
Silence pierces all that's still, With fear in those who seek the light,
Howls and cries of the lonesome ones, Remains in place, Remains undone.
Fear is few and far in between, The silent ones who remain unseen,
The moon eclipses through the dark, To the abyss it has been charred.
The forest stirs with mighty wind, Unrest is found from deep within,
A final cry cracks the night, The light of dawn is now in sight.
The restless ones now lay in peace, The stir of whispers have fled their dreams.

'My Deepest Sorrow'
Lost in hate I try to see, What has brought my iniquity,
All my hope I try to flee, What holds me down inside of me.
I walk this path what seems to be, A hopeless thought I'm not so free,
Give me hope and another chance, Wake me up from this horrible trance.
Beneath the ground is where I stand, Praying for a healing hand,
All this anger I know I can, My solid foundation has turned to sand.
On my knees I pray for hope, This wealthy life has gone for broke,
My time in hell I've lost my mind, These missing pieces will come in time.
'My deepest sorrow' am I to blame, Am I the one who deserves this pain,
I scream out loud but no one hears, This distant cry as I fall to tears.
The paths I choose feel the same, These days pass by as it continues to rain,
'My deepest sorrow' still remains.
I cry for help then look up high, To look back down with a sigh,
I almost feel I'm out of time, I feel the darkness I hold inside.
I feel the tremble I feel so wet, All my body is covered in sweat,
These distant years will fade away, Trapped in this prison with nothing to say.
All this solitude I'm now awake, I've been forgiven but still feel hate,
Caught in this land of misery, I look around with nowhere to flee.
No way out is all I see, No answer here to set me free,
I breathe the air of eternity, A different ending is what I seek.
...............
An evil thought is on my mind, A crooked trail I leave behind,
The things I do are all a crime, I piece of mind I have yet to find.
Make amends to do the same, Right from wrong I'm put to shame,
A better year I have yet to make, It's over now please give me space.
I feel the anguish I feel the heat, That burns inside I feel discreet,
From my head to my feet, From the heart where I bleed.
Done so wrong I lay at night, My body's worn and can no longer fight,
I lie within with all my might, A prayer of hope.....this pain....I cry

Not Giving Number Out = DROPPED
Posted:

OP:
Do what makes you feel comfortable. If you don't feel like giving out your number right away, then don't. Don't succumb out of your comfort zone. You have reasoning for doing the things you do, and you hold every right to feel safe.
When in doubt, get the hell out. Let them know how you feel and if they can't agree then move onwards.

^^^Expect as in racial slurs, nasty looks from people, snide comments, social disagreements, some brotha wanting to whoop yo azz...
etc.
That's what I mean by
expect
. Some people may feel uncomfortable dating out of their race or won't date a certain race because of whatever reason. It's not for everyone.
Of course all this is based from a social/public p.o.v. However the two people involved feel is up to them. If they can deal with possible hassle and shallowness from others then more power to them.
It's just not for everyone....

I've met men of a different race who will make a comment to me like "I've never been with a Black woman before."
Okay....it's like the same thing if someone asks if they date out of their race. Sometimes it's a confirmation [in this case to you] that he hasn't dated a black woman before. It's not necessarily meant to be a bad thing like black women are a different species from another planet, it's more of letting
you
know that he hasn't experienced the possible hurdles of IR dating.
There are black women who won't date a man [of different race] who hasn't already dated out of their race [black woman in this case] before as well. Sometimes it helps confirm to them that the said man already knows, experienced, feels comfortable and has knowledge of what to expect while doing so.

Rejection-men have been dealing with this a long time.
Posted:

I'm not into the
supermodel
mold. I would be happy to be with someone who is the sweetest person out there and a great personality. Looks only matter
initially
[since that is what attracts human to human]. I would rather be with a non-supermodel, non-Megan Fox type with a good heart than that supermodel type with a b*tchy attitude, can't trust and a complete annoyance to be around.
Seems finding someone honest is far too distant.....yes there are guys out there who would rather find compatibility and love than the thrill of chasing someone with the looks which deems itself temporary and often ends unsatisfied.

Have you ever decided against messaging someone because of uncertainty about racial requirements?
Posted:

fatANDsassee:
People are distorted that way. Usually those complications arise from bad experiences within their own race. Some white women will absolutely not date white men, which in itself raises red flags. Maybe they had negative experiences with white men before which forced them out, but to cast aside an entire race as if all white men are the same breeds ignorance.
People in every race do that, and that black woman you mentioned of hating on black men also spells disaster.
Who really wants to be with someone who hates his/her own race? The same race where they have a mother, father, brothers, sisters, uncles, nephews, cousins etc.
That to me is denying one's mother and father.

Do ANY Men Read Profiles (First or at all?)
Posted:
11/20/2009 7:37:15 PM
Frankly, I don't read or respond to people with long detailed profiles. It just seems like a red flag for "needy" or "lonely" or "egomaniac" or unrealistic about who they are and who they might meet. I just don't have time to be held hostage....
Ummm....not always. You know some people are more open and expressive of themselves. Who wants to read a few sentences that state absolutely nothing?
Detailed profiles don't always have to be negative you know...
Some people are just more equipped of initiating dialogue (in profiles) more so than others....and not speaking on behalf of pictures. If you're looking for a true relationship, I would
think
details is what you would seek.

Yes.
My buddy is like that. He's had FWB's the past 10 years and I don't see him settling down for a serious relationship with anyone soon.
As you mentioned no commitment, responsibility (and of course) sex are the obvious reasons he has his thoughts entwined in nothing serious.

Man I am telling you...
Nobody else delves this deeply into this matter you have yourself buried in.
I don't worry about how many black women are or aren't interested in me. If I so happen to cross paths with one and we have great chemistry, then that's great!
I don't worry or wonder how many black women will miss the Mandingo dating a white boy.....
Sorry trying to add humor.
Seriously though, I am open to all races but I don't wonder how many people may reject me because of race. There can be a multitude of reasons behind it. I don't need reasons. I get rejected and move on about my business. I don't dwell in a cellar of sorrow.
Relax man. Take a deep breath and focus on finding someone for you and who accepts you for you.

Quote from OP:
I'd much prefer to know that 100 women rejected me for non-racial reasons than to be left wondering if some -- including a possibly small amount -- rejected me for racial reasons.
Why are you looking to validate what percentage rejected you because of race? Your only going to end up with a migraine every time you seek such a matter, as well as heartache because of those who dislike you because of you're race.
Negativity draws negativity.
It seems you spend way too much time focusing on depressing matters when all you need to be doing is finding someone who loves you for you.
Race is only an issue when you make it one....and in this case you seem to be making it more difficult for yourself.
Take it easy.

In my OPINION,
I think some in here are a little too harsh.
Aside from that, shr23c you're misfortunes may come from within yourself. I don't know about you or your character but I am just throwing things out there to think about.
Your story sounds typical for a lot of people and the unlucky virtues that you've been through.
Maybe these dates are happening too quickly or even without patience to gain knowledge of one another? Rushing into things often causes epic failure.
If you really seek love from (in your words) your prince, maybe be more patient and slow down. (basing off of my & possibly common sense philosophy)
Take your time and get to know someone because the next may just happen to be your prince....
Good luck!

obviously a lot of whites voted for our president since blacks make up less than 13 percent of the US!
Of course we did (including myself). For whatever reason some people thought race relations would improve....
Obviously it was just a quick fix. We are now back in our name-calling/degrading/stereotypical/hateful/spiteful/discriminating/devolving/bashing/mongrel trampling of each preposterous lack of knowledge we contain.

Pretty much agree with everyone else here.
Go out on dates with both and then determine who you like the best.
Since you mentioned jobs, I would (personally) want a woman who was around more often since a "great" job is not too much of substance to me. Just having someone around would be a preferable choice to many I am sure.
Good luck!

I feel he used me to get back at his white ex and make her jealous because she left him for a black guy.
My God....what in the hell did he do to make her go black?
[no pun intended]
some black women are hesitant to date white men.
That's because some people are too involved in the race game. i.e. stereotypes.
If people didn't delve so deeply into these types of matters, they would not be hesitant because their minds would be free and not succumb to what they hear.
Example: White men who believe all stereotypes about black women most likely won't date them.
But, white men who know that these stereotypes are rubbish are more likely to be open.
Example 2: Black women who believe all white men have jungle fever are most likely not to date them.
But, black women who know this as rubbish are more likely to be open.
To sum it up: If you think too much into everything especially in race dating then you are more likely to be hesitant no matter what.

Falling in love too fast or at a good pace?

It should come natural. Take things as they are and don't force anything or do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Some people fall in love way too fast and it only hurts them in the end. Better to take things slow and let things come and go naturally at it's own pace.
If it's real it will eventually show.

I would date an Indian woman just like any other race. As long as they have the same qualities I look for in any race (especially religion) I'm down for it.

You complain he's still on pof.
But you come here to complain about it while you're still here too?

Obviously, you can't tell I'm the same person with a different name.
Apparently, you must be blind too. Of course someone else has to be typing for you...

Why are you still yapping about me? As if I'm the only @sshole? As if nobody is at times?
I see you don't let go of things too easily. I have done forgot about that ever since it happened. Damn, I couldn't imagine something someone did to you 10 years ago. You still think about that too?
Get over yourself.

Is different taste in music enough for you to kill the second date?

I agree with everyone who says music is a part of them. My music defines me, my mind, body and soul. It is who I am and best represents my personality.
There are certain genres of music I cannot stand. So it is very important I am with someone who shares similar interests since it defines not just us individually, but the both of us together.
Not much you can do if you like metal and like going to concerts, but she hates it and refuses to go with you or at least hesitates to go with you.
All in all, each person is different. Some people are more open about music than others. Others, like myself are restricted to what defines me and best expresses me. As I also refuse to be "changed" to accommodate another's preferences.

Are you asking:
Does having sex change how I feel?
Or a sex change, change how I feel?

Well, I suppose some things can be interlaced well.
But, I don't think Death Metal and Rap would go over smoothly.
I am sure there are exceptions and not necessarily always the rule.
