give it some time !! I have been here almost a year and I have met only 3 people in person I've met some online that are really just good people ....... then again... I have also had some bad experiences with IDIOTS, but most of the true nuts will reveal themselves in some way if you continue conversing online with them long enough. Don't be dissappointed with the slow response. I was suprised to find out that online romance moves in cycles just like it does in the real world. At times I will open my mail to find that I have Nothing ! for days! nothing ! Then suddenly for no apparant reason. I will have more than I have time to answer, for several more days ! Then just a suddenly as it appeared its gone again! Makes no sense my online picture is the same....... every day.... I have only changed a few words in my profile since day 1.

Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud Posted: 11/19/2005 9:03:46 PM
I am so proud of whoever it was that finally decided to do something about these people ! I also had similar incidents with match & yahoo... In fact it happened so often that, now, I don't even bother to check with either site when the "someone's interested in you " emails come in. until tonight, I never realized that these sites were also using MY NAME in order to send out these fake interest emails ............. TO people I never even heard of ! I just never thought about it. That really makes me angry! POF is the ONLY site that has done exactly what they said they would do from the beginning. No fake winks - no fake someone is interested in you emails. Think about the tremendous tool we have at our fingertips every time we connect to the internet. The information is limitless, never before has there been so much knowledge available to so many, so easily........ and therein lies the problem. How do we keep the cheats & sneaks from ruining it for everyone else?................................................... Somehow this problem seems familiar ! oh yea sounds like a page out of my past. I would be interested in getting involved in this class action. If we allow this type of online fraud to continue, we may as well just give them our pc's too... because in time, the information online will be void of the imput of reputable people............... scary thought

I was married to a man I loved dearly for 10 years . He went to sleep & never woke up, last april. I stood him up 3 times before we actually hooked up. I met him, instantly knew I could still walk away w/o any problems, but I was so interested. Just too scared to do it. He was persistent, but nice about it. Otherwise I'd have blown him off as a bully. I wish he were still here, but I saw times in that 10 year relationship that I wish I'd have kept running way back when You men just don't know how scary it is to actually meet someone that could turn out to be the "someone". I've dated a lot of guys but so far only 2 have compeletely bowled me over. & I stood both of them up more than once. signed chicken s^%# reneajb

Right here in my little home town. I met this man. Beautiful man, you don't see just a whole lot of those. but he had a good job drove a nice truck, Smiled a lot friendly to everyone he met. This man turned into the devil himself less than 6 months later. As soon as he thought I was stuck with him & could not leave (Wrong) he changed. He told me God told him to kill his X wife.( but he didn't ) He took my clothes, my keys, put me out in 25* weather in the middle of the night, gave me a concussion, a black eye. I went next door naked to use the phone to cal the cops. He saw me , knew what I was doing & threw my clothes out the window. I walked out of there that night. Went back the next day while he was at work. Got my, car my clothes loaded everything that was mine including the frig onto a trailer by myself & LEFT !!!! A short time later the cops arrested him for climbing the tree in my yard at night to watch me . BE CAREFUL !! He is still beautiful & he is still a mental subject ! & he isn't alone ~ there are lots of them. I didn't meet him online. He grew up 10 miles down the road from me. reneajb

They got killed off by men who take advantage & leave them with children they can't feed & broken lives that are next to impossilbe to mend.If men would demand honesty from other men in terms of the relationships they have with their women then slowly but surely it would become uncool to treat ones female partner with such disrespect . In other words they ( the bad guys ) are ruining it for the rest of you that are truely sincere !! Stop them before they ruin it all together !! & stop covering for the buddies that are cheating males or females cheaters are ruining it for everyone !! No body trusts anymore it sucks !

you go girl !!! who ever said that life gets boring as you get older !! here's to hoping they are wrong. I just got out of a relationship witha man that thought he was suppposed to be able to runaround with everywoman he knew & I was supposed to just wait for him,. Trouble s that once he got home he was too tired ! not that he was ever tha great a lover to start with ~~! but I thought originally he had possiblilties ! He did possibilities of giving me something Ididn't want ! This relationship took up 5 precious years of my life that I'll never get back. It almost destroyed my sexual self esteem, I never had inhibitions before~~ do now. So my problems are just theopposite of yours. I still have all the same scenes in my mind only now I'm not sure of myself enough to go for it ~~ not yet anyway~~ I'll get there ~~ If I meet a man that I feel comfortable with... And I will. then I hope to turn up the kink again Just because I middle aged ~~ doesn't mean I have to be conservative Hell we're just now getting enough experience w/o kids running everywhere to really be good at it !! Good luck & yes you ae entirely on the right track congrats for the wieght loss by the way this site PLenty of fish has done more for my self estem than anything in a long time , I can't afford the"pay for"sites & I need to relate to grown ps everyonce in a while i love this site.
