I totally understand where u are coming from. I'm in a very similar position right now myself. I've been a stay at home mom for about 6 yrs. My husband moved out 4 months ago. Unfortunately for me I have a lot of physical problems that prevent me from being able to do much, which makes finding a job even harder than it already is. All i have been living on for the past 4 months is less than 1/2 of our last tax return lol. Not really sure what i'm gonna do right now so i can't really give advice but i sure wish u luck

usually if u have the girl for 6 months out of the year u can claim her. just call the IRS. or i have heard of some people having it set up to where whoever would get the most return claiming them but split the return

I think its great that there are dads out there that take care of their kids full time. There are way too many deadbeat dads!!! As for the custody, get a lawyer. I'm sure u can get it if u have them most of the time anyways, but the system is crap though. so good luck with that

I would never let my kids call me by my first name..as far as they are concerned my name is Mom, or mommy. My oldest boy went thru that for a bit. I just ignored him when he called me by my name. after a few times of that he called me mommy again LOL

I would love to date a responsible, single dad i'm just having problems finding them in my area. and also having trouble finding ones that aren't just after sex, or looking for a model, or one that will accept that i have physical problems.

my ex has to pay $192 a week in child support. He has made 3 payments so far to the clerks office in the courthouse. my question is what the hell takes so long for someone to sign their name to a piece of paper so i can get the kids stuff they need? its been 3 weeks now.

I have no problem dating a guy with kids. My only problem is that most guys that i come in contact with either want just sex or some kind of model. Well lets put it this way after having 3 kids i'm no kind of model lol

I disagree with u tree...i lost my son and i never did a thing. my mom said she didn't want to call child protective services in cause she didn't want me to have to go through all that. U know what? I wished she would have cause then i would still have my son. he was fed, clothes, had diapers and toys ,...everything he needed...i worked as much as i could to support the both of us. I was a single mom. The only thing i did was not listen to everything my parents told me to do. I didn't kiss their ass. I even had my friend who watched my son and was at my house almost everyday go to court on my behalf...u know what happened? they made her stand outside the courtroom while they royally screwed me. I had 2 days to find me a lawyer before the court date. What chance did i have? NONE!!!!!!

I would like to know the answer to that question too. My oldest son went to visit my parents on a thursday. The next day my parents went and got temporary guardianship of him. I knew nothing about this til sunday when i called to let them know i was coming to get him. They said no cause he's ours now. Tell me how this can happen? He was with them for 2 yrs before i got him back. they got him so spoiled in those 2 yrs that the next 2 yrs when he was with me...all i heard was i wanna live out there. So thats where he lives now. At least i know he's happy and he's taken care of but i don't understand how something like that can happen.

I have been a stay at home mom for 6 yrs. I love it!!! I wouldn't trade it for anything. But unfortunately most men now days want a woman who works for money. Stay at home moms are unappreciated anymore. They are out there though.
