In response to everyone if you look at the context of the questions I asked in the beginning I was basically referring to promiscuity; sorry if i spelled that wrong. I personally would not go against my beleifs and sleep with anyone, regardless of wheather they were a smooth talker or not but if i remember correctly not too long ago guys didnt message a girl saying she had nice t!ts pardon the language. Maybe its more of a manners thing but I also see it as a lack of romance.

Damien... Actually it was asked the way i wanted to ask the question..Also if asked the other way it goes against forum rules and could very well get my profile taken away. It was a thought I wanted feedback on case closed.. Now lets stay on track with the thread here.

Thanx for the advice I definitely will not sway from my morals and that seems to make my options smaller.

Im asking this question after receiving numerous emails from guys that seem to want to jump past the courtship and right into bed. Are the majority of women the same way? Or am I just unlucky? I have come across a few guys who still like to be romantic but they seem to me to be few and far between.

Dating rules

Hun there are no rules, its life. Just like any other social interactions you have the choices are ultimately up to you whether you make first move or not. Do what is right for your morals and values.

Well hun I really think the only advice to give is go for it. Its common to feel nervous when changes are happening in your life, moving is scary all in itself. When the right girl comes along just dont be afraid to let her know you like her.

I agree with the fact that you can be a tomboy and be girly as well, I dont own a dress and really kinda avoid wearing dress clothes but I like to wear my jeans form fitted and my t shirts too. For me its just that i like what i like and it just so happens that some men like it too.

Im christian and have been looking for a bible for quite some time now and cant seem to find a bible for young adults such as myself. I have found some for teens that deal with some of the issues I deal with but the ones for women are just not for me. Im hoping someone can help me figure this out.

What style of dancing have you had some training on?
Posted:

I used to break dance in my teens and I have a little bit of belly dance training which is a great way to learn how to move your hips. I now mostly do hip hop and modern self taught with help from fellow dancers who have previous training. I also did that strip aerobics which is quite the workout.

nes4ever69 although I've never read the necronomicon it was actually written by one of my favorite authors Mr H.P. Lovecraft. It has no truth to it at all.

Well I am curious about how many religions are out ther and what they are all about. What brought you to decide on the religion you follow? I would also like to see peoples views on life if they consider themselves not to be part of a religion.

Sexual Morality
Posted:
6/6/2006 11:06:09 AM
I'd first like to say yes Im not perfect at grammar or spelling so if I say something
confusing let me know and i'll try to explain. I'd also like to say I beleive there is a
God and that my words can only be taken as opinion to those who dont beleive.
Breaca-"(which may also explain the 90% who do not accept the Christian version of deity)."
What do you mean by this? 90% of what? and not to make assumptions but are you a hedonist?
Feral-"For my part, I remain unconvinced that either your individual views or an apparently
arbitrary figure based on uncited information regarding an, at best, tangentially related
topic truly answers my question as to how sexual thoughts or motivations can be described
as "deadly"."
Well here goes, lol. Basically as you were saying that every action has a reaction so goes
with thought. Lustful thoughts may lead someone to act out sexually which may lead to
sexually transmitted diseases like Aids which is deadly. I agree you can not say that a
thought can directly lead to death but it can lead there eventually.
Tim4925- "Speaking of sexual morality in the Bible, who did Cain and Able have sex with?
There was no mention of Eve having any girls as far as I know?"
Well is it safe to assume you are talking about incest here? If so then I know this might
stir up some comments but certain things are only considered wrong according societal
standards. Dont get me wtong I still find incest disgusting but that is my own personal view.
Bright1raziel-Sex is everything to our society and yet is demonised by many and swept under
the carpet, because many people see it as imoral"
Now i can only speak for myself and the people associate with but we dont see sex as immoral at all. In fact sex is a wonderful thing to experience with the one you love and have commited yourself to.
Feral-'and does marriage truly confer upon the husband ownership of the wife?"If so, is this
reciprocal or unidirectional?" Marriage does not mean the man owns the woman or the other way around, some people just have distorted points of view.
"Fully recognising the probable origin of this particular view, is there any evidence outside of religious texts (the Bible, Quran, Torah) that suggests or supports this interpretation of sexual roles?"
well this is only theory but stds could support that somewhat.
"Could you explain or specify in what way(s) sexual practice is abused?"
There are many ways like rape, or any form of sexual control.
Jlcrome-"It would be nice being 20 years old again and meet the girl of my dreams and get
married then have sex that would be my idealism for me. But sometimes life throws us a curve
ball and sometimes bad luck comes our ways."
i dont want to seem rude but that has nothing to do with luck at all, and everything to do with choice.
"God designed us to have one sexual partnerfor marriage for life."
i disagree with your statement, our life on earth is to prepare us for heaven.
last but not least i just want to say that the term marriage is decribed on paper it is
described by love and the joining of two people.
sexual practice is abused but like most people are saying on here my beleif is that when it
hurts someone it is abuse.

Why Evil...why doesn't our Creator just eliminate evil once and for all?
Posted:

You post something which is of course of your own choice but then you dont back it up. If there is no free will then tell me what your theories are to deny that. Are you using the claim that to every action there is a reaction? I hope i dont sound rude or anything.

Posted:

The best advice I can give is that God gave us all free will. Adam and Eve took that too far, as well as some other people. What I was getting to is that with free will we are given the choice, the option to choose eternal life with christ or to live our lives selfishly possibly hurting others along the way. I know suffering firsthand as well as I assume anyone out there does. I also know that the bad things that happen arent because of God but because of bad people. As for your ending question "What good is evil anyway?" well it isnt but God doesnt give us anything that he doesnt think we cant handle. This last theory is my own, I beleive fully that if we didnt experience pain and suffering we wouldnt know joy and love fully.
