Until both of us were walking strangely. Only taking time out to eat (keep up our energy), bathe frequently, go to the bathroom, and have family time with the children in the picture when they come home from school. I just got my first really nasty one, and posted a question about it (How do you respond to hate mail) he called me a 'nigga' and it really hurt. Most of the people here responded very kindly to me and told me to block and report him. I was almost ready to change my profile preferences and just delete the ones I wasn't interested in, but I did that on another site and spent most of my time cleaning out my mail and I didn't want to do that anymore. I just wanted to be me. It's the reason I came here. Thanks to them - you know who you are - I'll stick around a bit and hopefully find someone to be really good friends with, or maybe more. If as the first response says, she comes back, then great. If not, we would still like to have you around.

I don't go out very much, and my views may be a bit antiquated but here's my take: If he asked you out - he should pay. If you ask him out - you should be prepared to pay. If there is no clear concept- always be prepared to go dutch and pay for your own. You arrived first and had a tab. When he arrived the BARTENDER should have kept his mouth shut because he was totally out of line. Since he did not, when it came time to pay the bill, You should have had the bigmouth bartender find every drink that YOU ordered, and split it. Of course, to remain a lady, this should be done discreetly. Let him find out when he gets ready to leave and has to roll up his sleeves, he won't pull that on anyone else again. You are a good person, like me. We just have to learn to be ladies without being doormats.

This is the main reason why I am too intimidated to approach men in the first place - afraid of how I will be perceived. That and the way I was brainwashingly raised that men are supposed to ask women out. I have to tell you though, being 'the Lady' leads to some pretty lonely nights.
