Straight to the point..he was an idiot. Please dont go lesbian, us single dads are having a hard enough time finding a real woman!! Hang in there, hon...there are men that want you for who you are, not what you got...I wish you the best of luck and the most out of happiness.

Hey, man..just stick with it and be picky...cant be picky at a bar, worst place to be. Try being a fat,33yo man with child who iswith me 24/7/365!! Talk about rolling a rock uphill!!
Stick to your guns, you will meet someone, your young.

Strangely enough..those are the three things Im looking for!! I doubt any men here are looking for the helpless little girl..at least, not the real men. As for the sexual end of things, I cant say for anyone else, but I rather enjoy a woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. I want my equal, thats why Im here. Im already raising a child, dont need another LOL

Well, donwilliams..you are certainly entitled to your opinion. But, for the record, having a child does make someone wiser and smarter and change their life forever. Example...before I got my daughter, I was a cop turned biker...ran with some pretty rough groups and I tended to be the toughest or the craziest..neither was very good. So, before my daughter, your attitude and comments would have caused me and my brothers to track you dow and put you in a friggin hurtlocker.
See, Im not doing that...although a few of my old friends are here right now, and they dont feel the same as me. But, no worries, they will behave because I will "explain" to them in actions they understand that you ARE entitled to your own opinions and we may not agree, but thats just fine. So, they will get it.
See..Im a better,wiser man already!

How many single dads actually take care of there kids..

My daughter is with me 24/7..has had no contact with her mother since 3 months old...she is fixin to be 3 years..her mom live 2200 miles away. I wouldnt know what to do without her...and I feel for any dad who has to be without his kids. For that matter, any mom who has to be without is just as painful. Unless of course, it was their choice, as in my case.

new dad, 1 1/2 year old son, need advice

The previous post was a great idea, throwing yourself down and having one yourself is a great idea! Also, ignore this behaviour as well
Actually..its funny you say this..it actually works with my daughter!! I have her full time, have had her since she was about 3 months, her mom doesnt see or talk to her...but when she would throw a tantrum, whether in public or at home, I would show her what it looks like! Every time she screamed, I would too...eventually (and, no , it didnt take long at all) she decided on her own that she didnt like daddy hollering when she did, and she just up and quit. I believe in time outs too...she has a chair that she must sit in on those rare occasions and she must stay there until she is done..an, the trick, she must come tell me she is done. That works great too. It gives them the power to decide and to distiguish between the good and the bad. Trust me, it works! Stay the course, bro..and always remember the love.

I couldnt agree with you more, young lady!! I know my lil sweetie saved my life in many ways, and one was stopping me from continuing on a destructive path of looks and sex above all else.
And, for the record, I cant imagine you having too many problems in the men dept. You are quite beautiful and obviously intelligent.
Just my opinion.

Im sure whatever you decide will be perfect. You are showing your undying devotion to your kids, thats what counts. I am a full custody dad and a non custodial dad and each of my girls has a tattoo on me with their names and a special design just for them. For instance, My youngest has her name and a large cherub angel, because she is my angel.
And, whoever said "prepare to get addicted" wasnt lying...I started with my first daughter, now I have 6 tattoos and more to come!

Personally, I really need the brains and personality over the looks. After all, the most beautiful painting in the world cant carry on a conversation worth a damn!! But, yes, the shallow still rule the world I think. Im no Fabio (wouldnt wanna be!! seriously, who stands up on a roller coaster??) and I have learned that many women and men prefer the "Barbie/Ken complex with all the personality of a bag of wet leaves. Oh, and dont forget the money!! God knows they wont. But, hey, thats just me talking!!
