Oh give it rest ~ It's was McCain's and the GOP's to lose ~ and they did! It's that simple .

I swear, you'd think one supreme court judge appointed Obama into office against the wishes of popular mandate.

WS ~ your commentary is all over the place ~ You seems to focus your venom on one man. Contrary to what you think , Obama is not the magic negro and not at the root of all of our problems. He can't be incompetent yet all powerful and the source of all that ills us at the same time . ~ So make up your mind ~ Your giving him way to much credit.

and neither can one senior tiny white lady Pelosi.

There is always the crass noisy one, ~ that don't want to really think ~ but root for their team. ~ I sorry, but you team sucks ! ~ We didn't make then suck! ~ They did it own their own. The numbers are in and the track record is clear to everyone. ~

You want to forget "yesterday" ~ I don't blame you ~ I'd like to forget it too, but the bills keep coming in while I look around for what we bought . ~ I don't see much. ~ just a lot of unfinished business everywhere you look.

NASA is the only shining star, where we got the bang for the buck. Where direction and focus yielded some results. I've not seen it or know how much Federal money was in Boston's " Big Dig" the only civil project I know of worth mention in the last decade.

Compared to the rest of the world ~ that really sucks! ~ While we've been wasting time and money ` "nation building" ~ the rest of the world has been very busy and spending their money wisely investing in their nations. While we threw money in a sand box.

This was the leadership we "had" ~ today , we've change directions. The people have spoke on this matter. That you don't approve or agree and want to start a war over it.

Just jump out there Froggy , ~ follow your prophet Beck. ~ AAA member/ drug abuser, 1 year Yale Theology drop out, Media man since he was 13 , ran out of just about every radio station he worked in, leaving nothing but conflict in his wake. Willing to make fun of an enemy wife's miscarriage on live radio. ~ son of a mother that committed suicide and then a stepmother too! It seems his mother's looked forward to getting away from their "son" anyway they could. ~ You like such a man ? believe such a man? It makes sense.

Just take him with you when you start your little war. I'll catch it on CNN.

If TX wants to secede then more power to them

D1ck Perry maybe the Governor of this fine state but he does not speak for everyone.

anymore the Rev. Wright speaks for Obama.

I'd cut off an arm first. ~ And you are right, we'd are almost Northern Mexico already while still belonging to the union.

D1ck Perry is sucking up to the "GOP" base as he sees it. ~ Kay Bailey Hutchingson is running against him ~ Both of them suck sewer water. ~ Kay is a another suck up nonstarter . That's all the GOP got?!!!!! ???? WoW! what a selection of brown nosers .

I've heard Kinky Freedman is going to try it one more time. ~

Understand that it was redistricting turned Texas a Red state.

Funny how the Civil War topic turns into a discussion about health care

That surprised me as well tranquilo123, that was quite a hand off . I decided that maybe they didn't want to think about all the ramification of civil war after all.

The two are linked only by a 4 decade distance, Much like the captain ordering the Titanic to came hard starboard soon as she steamed out of the Port of Belfast .

That's what the GOP has always used to get their way. Use Fear and called it Prudence if they do it, something else if someone else does.

We did much the same thing in Nam, ~ We called it "recon by fire" ~ any question about what lay ahead? ~ We gave it a clip and sat back and watched and listened. ~ It made for a rough neighborhood.

But we were not statesmen, all the talking was over and done for us and we had plans of returning home.

That some willing to hide behind such a backdrop , the threat of conflict only shows the desperation and their resolve to impede meaningful progress. Like a child in the candy store, they threaten to throw a fit if they don't get their way.

I personally feel that many of us "are" stuck in the middle. ~ Too poor to buy it and too wealthy to qualify for it and too proud to whine, cry, piss and moan about it.

The only way I'd end up in an ER is if I was out cold , having no say in the matter.

I don't think that I'm alone.

While I'll admit ~ I do see a trend in the poor, they've become 'conditioned" to the hand-out. ~ Have long since lost any self-respect and personal pride and will be the first one's in line for any give-away.

But! ~ The down-and-out "poor" should not be the main focus of "policy" ~ many , if not most of these people are conditioned so well, the have become the sea gulls and bottom feeders of society. Every society through out history has had them. They serve a purpose of sorts.

Policy should focus on preventing the creation of this type of citizen. And this cannot be done by ignoring the existence of disparity. By taxing your biggest contributor to the system ( the middle) the private sector while denying them access via overpricing. ~ The upper middle being subsided health care by virtue of better employers ( all branches of government, and supporting contractors, etc ) by the hard work and sweat of the private sector.

But that's what happening today ~ as more and more American's slip thu the cracks of a flawed system. Government expects their employee's to be solid citizens and they are confiscated "just enough" that they can be. The private sector is not exposed to this same pressure and confiscation is dictated by market price and willing to be blind to the well being or solid citizenship of employees. Leaving them to assume you are healthy and paying your bills. ~ They are your bills and up to you to be responsible, that you are being under confiscation is not their problem. Maybe you shouldn't have had that second child or helped a family member out. Maybe you need to get a second job.

When did you ever see, anyone dressed in rags working for the government? ~ When did you ever see worn and tattered carpet in the mayor's office. Government takes care of itself ~ even if it can't afford it ~ why? because they got the pencil and they come first! The middle is there to suck up the slack and any disparity.

Department heads of government work on a budget, ~ It's important for them to spend "all" of it ! no matter what ~ For next years budget in built off this years spending. Nothing is getting cheaper but labor as supply of labor exceeds demand.

The cost of Health care is an issue, ~ that it's not affordable out of your pocket brings forward the middle man, insurance companies. ~ So now Insurance is the issue.

So we have got ourselves into the situation of needing the gun to get the gold and the gold to get the girl.

The middle is holding up this house of cards ~ I think Obama was wise in attempting to address it early. Where any correction will come of it? I have concerns. If some of the greed and waste is not removed from this system the problem will only continue to get larger.

But we need to be aware there is limits to how much we can carry with this present system in place ~ People are just living longer and maybe this must stop or change the system to accommodate.

Well that's true if you are calling 1913 to 1939 just a few years. And really these two wars got their start years earlier , 1913 was just the flash point and the final end of the war being in 45.

So really , we 're talking about period of time roughly 4 to 5 decades long. Where human kind couldn't believe what started out so seemly trite , only to turn into such horror.

This is why I resist all the talk of revolt and sedition. ~ The things we have and enjoy today are very much worth saving and protecting. A bad as some might think they are, they are not that bad yet ~ and well within the reach of political correction and redress.

You let loose the dogs of war, it becomes a few rich men's game , any out-come, unclear and uncertain.

Revolutions consume their young. The notion of "if it don't kill you, it will only make you stronger" ~ is a very long viewpoint, consuming several generations allowing only benefactors with "clean hands" to make such claims.

What I see, is some people feel the system has failed us as we learn more and more where the past administration failed us in so many ways and if that what enough ! ~ now we have a president of color in office. How could this have happened! ??? ~ This was never something we ever thought or considered might happen in our life times. It just doesn't make any sense! Maybe It's time to throw off the shackles of the Federal Government. The system is flawed. Something is bad wrong! ~ Let's tear it down and start anew.

I say to you, I understand, and something is bad wrong. ~ but this should offer you some idea how far off track the prior administration had traveled and how disappointed and feed up the American people were and still are.

Obama didn't win the elect because he was black but in spite that he was black.

This should afford us a view, of just how far removed from the American People John MC Cain and his political advisers truly were at the time. People such as Karl Rove have a complete disconnect from most any American that I know.

MCCain lost the election, Obama won by default.

The only things that's broken with our system today that needs addressing , is the ability to openly tell lies to the people without the fear of fault , foul or penalty. That would stop this ability to conceal and hide.

If we could fix that! ~~ Much of our problems of government would disappear.

I'm saying , I don't see it happening in my life time but maybe more of a slight distraction , maybe a 7 day news event. Everybody can read, watch or listen and be amused for 7 days before it's suppressed. But! ~~~ this might well be the beginning, a tiny seed. If the ground stays fertile, it might well grow into a major revolt ~ some two decades later.

I am 61, I would be required to live to 130 or 50 to ever see such an event.

But ! History does tell us , it's coming.

For now , there is too many people that still think they are immune and haven't suffered enough.

There is some people that have ~ but they are powerless to affect change. they are silent, ~ for now. After some three generation of the "silent ones" there will come a leader to guide them and terror will be their weapon of choice with attrition the Achilles Heel and overwhelming numbers

When pinned by overwhelming force, you bite off your oppressors nose or ears. When life is not worth living you find glory in death. This will become the badge of self -worth as it becomes harder and harder to find.

Sound familiar?

Americans has not reached such a point ~ yet!

For now , all this talk of revolt is pure idle nonsense.

well there is the north and south ~ true ~ and then you have Minnesota

True Texas has the right ~ but civil revolt, is that , a revolt ~ it's a power play , rights , no rights is unimportant at that moment. The right is to seize the moment and capture the day.

Civil revolt wears many mask, succession being but one.

Revolt has a life of it's own, it takes very strong leadership to keep one on course. More times then not the reasons "why" get lost in the struggle and it become more of "opportunities" for a few. In the end trading one oppressor for another at great expense and human cost.

This leadership is not there today as I look out across the political spectrum. I don't see it coming. I only see and hear the loud ones that wish to feather their nest by yelling, "there's gold in them there hill! ~ Buy your pan, pick ax, shovels and mule from me! I'll even throw in the Lost Dutchman's last known travel plans and essay report. But wait! that not all! You also get a first aid kit complete with live leeches along with Gimply Johnson snake bite kit, 3 pounds of hard tack and 5 pounds of coffee I got off Juan Valdeze just this morning.

All of this talk of revolt is being created by special interest and their agents purely for diversion and to instill fear in the "believers".

People that like the game the way it's being played now and don't want to see a new deck or a new dealer much less a new game.

That's really what all "this howling" is all about. And it's as clear to me as the nose on your face.

I wouldn't invest 2 minutes of my time listening to anything Ruppet Murdock was behind. And that you can find people like Newt, Karl Rove and Chaney waiting in the wings somewhere , it should be clear to everyone else.

I think the South would win because of our diverse industry and over-all more pro-firearm culture.

what makes you think any future civil uprising will split between such boundary lines?

You are showing your cards just one more time as you deny you possess them.

The way Glenn and Palin are going with the supporting crowd they attract and they to play any part in it, I see more of a Khmer Rouge. Stupid people trying to kill off the brightest ones among them. An attempt to turn back the clock , where the less bright only need to possess the will to kill and void moral compass or compassion for neighbor. Anybody that wears glasses and really "reads" is toast. They don't what to compete with "thinkers" but only to follow the alpha monkey.

we were told earlier that there more harmful stuff coming from an Automobile tail pipe then cigarettes.

You know, I have a hard time believing that! ~ I guess I should ask , what kind of car!

There is chemicals ~~ everywhere!

The world is made of them, compounds ~

Just because , some people have moderation issue ~ we get this , this kind of prevailing "mindset". ~ Our personal choice is killing the ozone layer and all of our neighbors and close friend ~ and it all our fault! ~ That health care is so high! That insurance is so high!

If people didn't smoke ~ there be a sweet smelling peace in the whole universe.

My guess ~ sugar will kill you quicker ! it just don't have the odor!

My Dad is dieing, from COPD , ~ Diabetes, Pastorate cancer , and being a grouch his whole 84 years. ~

If he hadn't started smoking at 12 and continued until he was 68 ~ there is no telling how long he might live. ~ 110! god forbid!

Really? you can't smoke in Chicago? ~~ Everybody going to die from the "Pat Boone" disease! Acute Clean Living! in Chicago? ~~ Such Hyprocricy has no limits and know no boundaries.

Hands up and all say 'aye' if you are Irish and believe that means we are a unique race ..
Posted: 11/20/2009 6:59:45 PM
I double checked ~ yep! it's two pages of pig swell. ~

We Are Americans it true, ~ but there was a time not too far off, my grandparents came to this country from Ireland. From stowaways to indentured servants, ~they were oxen framers, never wealthy enough to own a horse , much less a buggy. Your were considered rich to own a horse. Something as useless as a buggy was pure glutton extravagance.

The Irish along with the Germans, Swedes and Poles settled much of the early American frontier and you can still find pockets of them scattered all over America today. These areas and their people still celebrate their ethnicity every year and draw crowd by the thousands. Never have I seen so many green and blues eyes people gather, eat, drink, dance and sing.

Now , if this mean nothing to you ~ so be it, Maybe you don't really know about America and Americans as much as you thought you did.

Glenn Rose is one such town and many of my people settled there many years ago. Glenn Rose or The Glenn of Roses is unique in that it one of the few places of earth where dinosaur track can still be found today, they there in the stone by the hundreds. Showing records of stalking , chase and battle as one attacked and ate the other. It's the site of a prehistoric sea coast line, the coastline has receded some 350 miles to the south and what once mud is now turned to limestone.

Maybe that's not Irish enough for you ~ but everybody came from somewhere. Just living in Ireland is not what make one Irish. It's the old blood.

Next Election and Obama
Posted: 11/20/2009 6:52:23 AM
I will do that, ~ my little search kinda indicated ~ even if Ron Paul is not part of the next decision, some of his ideas are and shared by some.

It should be "old news" that we've been sold down river.

But what I've yet to see is anyone that is willing to correctly identify "these" forces.

The term " special interest" is a very wide brush. Plus we contend with a lot of "mislabeling" in this country today.

There are "things" "forces" in place that need to be narrowed down and defined.

Until we can "all" understand what to fu-k we're discussing ~ we achieve little in attempt to address these forces.

While the term "special interest" is fine ~ who's carrying the water for such forces? For they to are agents of special interest and must be identified and addresses. They are the soldiers of special interest. ~

and just being a special interest isn't all bad. ~

We need, I need some understanding in such matters.

Which ones are hurting us and which one are serving us. They all attempt to suggest that they serve American's best interest. But do they really?

While I might support Obama ~ doesn't mean I'm into tree hugging, ~ or protesting with frigging tea bags or willing to bend over for a body cavity search. I don't like anyone humping my leg.

I understand ~ the team is finally assembled and in place to start addressing all these Wall Street shanagians. Things I know little about really and i have to "trust" it's really being done. Can I? ~ I really don't think so. Not until I see some heads roll. And even then, I'll never be sure they killed the head of the snake.

people engage in all kinds of unhealthy behavior. ~ Just pick one!

The same people that whine about smoking could easily be doing something much more harmful, having bad habits. Running red lights, pulling out in front of buses. Overeating, constant griping, too much sugar, too much salt, a fool for a bad woman or man that don't smoke, clumsy with livestock, clumsy in love, clumsy with money.

Like a two fingered carpenter telling you to be careful.

Tea is a drug, coffee is drug, egg nog is a drug ~ there "always" been drugs and drug use. And all has their usefulness.

If someone wants to smoke that's one thing, if someone wants to abuse smoke that's another. No one can expect to smoke 40 cigarettes in a 24 hour period and be healthy.

No one can expect to have 5 malted shakes in a 24 hour period and be healthy.

It moderation in all things. Be respectful in all things.

But ugly women smoking don't turn the op off. ~

Some people are ugly just to keep other people away.

Some people are ugly regardless how nice they smell.

I had an ugly girl tell me once , only one of us had to be pretty. One of the best nights of my life. Maybe it was because she didn't smoke.

Where's your head at. part 1 politics
Posted: 11/19/2009 2:13:49 PM
I'm hearing Palin/ Beck for 2012 ~ now wouldn't that be a line up!

I think it would be a good thing ~ Something there for everyone.

If people with a history of Glen Beck's can run for president , I'd say just about anyone can.

I wonder who'd be VP? ~ Guess they could draw straws or rock, paper sissors.

Anyone read Beck's Bio? He's seems to be rough on "mother's" and just about everyone he's around really.

They are both singing each others praises with Rush's blessing.

Her book went on sale yesterday, I not read it. Most I hear about it, it's light of substance. Much like the last GOP campaign I suppose, not bothering with the "silly issue" but about character!

I'm not sure why, but some people loved it and loved Palin and they still do! But they can't tell you why either. She's their kind of woman or so it appears. And I must admit , there is littles doubt Todd got his hand full. about one day as Todd and I'd be done.

As for myself, for a presidential choice, "liking" is just a small part of what I'm looking for. I like Evil Knievel , Alice Cooper, and Tiny Tim.

I met a girl on POF , met out last Sunday, she's from Mexico City, been here 11 years. She a big Palin / Beck fan. ~~ and hates the rest. ~ yet can't tell you really why either.

It seems these two people inspire and fills some people "void" in their understanding of the world they live in and politics.

I don't agree with Southernlass often, but I always understand where she's coming from and why.

I know little of Ron Paul but I do agree ~ we need a major house cleaning on Capital Hill.

and the first thing that needs to happen it start getting this special interest money out of politics. Money is a politician life's blood.

Now how that might happen ~ is beyond my scope of understanding. But you'd think it might be possible. For until this does happen, we be trading one evil for another evil.

The hunger to serve has been replaced by the greed of a few.

Guns a right but healthcare a privelage?
Posted: 11/19/2009 11:53:40 AM
not to consider quality of life?

as far a medical treatment being "socialized" perhaps it's time.

or keep it as it is " socialized" in varies degrees ~ and stages.

where supply and demand is in play ~ the supply immune to anti-trust laws and the demand overwhelming.

While, my and your tax dollars goes to subsidize "better" employers that offer their employee's a health care package while you and I might have none of our own.

Where the cost of a broken or damaged arm might cost 28,000.00 for the doctor bill alone but the insurance company will only cover $12,000.00 and the doctor left to sue you for the balance ( a real story- my brother) and he's still not fixed! But the doctor is "quit finished"

Shall we just call it "Hard Hocky" ~ that's the way the cookie crumbles?

How much does Government employee's pay for quality medical coverage?

Well, ~ that's how much the rest of us should expect to pay.

LOST MY BEST FRIEND TOO SUISIDE!! GOT ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO GET OVER THE SHOCK AND PAIN OF IT?
Posted: 11/19/2009 5:33:48 AM
while I see this thread is old, for someone out there it is very current and still very real.

I don't think we get over such things so much as learn to live with them.

which bring me to the reason of my post.

There once was a time, I thought of myself as being strong and could overcome any adversity. That was when I was a much younger man and very foolish, pride, ego and vanity I have in abundance. I was only short in experience.

Since then, the world has shown me, I too, like everyone else, ~ have limits.

When you have reached yours, ~ go see a medical doctor! They can can help you with such things. In a matter of just a few days you will feel better.

There is no need to live in such internal pain, there is medication that can correct this mental mess that you find yourself in "today" and gives you the ability to "cope" and return to your "normal" self again.

But be aware, ~ these drugs are addictive and not to be abused, finding yourself trading one problem for another. You still need to do your work, process these feelings you have and "accept" . Understand you are sick and in the process of healing, stay away for "drama" or "important" decision making for awhile.

Good Luck with it ~ you can do this!

Remember the "surge" Mc Cain's "surge" ? ~ Do ya ? It's working!

he was very proud of this effort ~ and was the Maverick ~ going against popular opinion if you remember.

I feel I might need to remind you. ~ For you forget so much.

You forget JFK's words as well " The absence of war does not constitute a peace"

For these people ~ beside drugs and camel dung for cooking ~ "We are the biggest game in town" ~ they are milking us!

If these people want whatthey say they want ~ let them go get it! ~ and we will help them like the French help us. ~ They offered "some" support with material. man power and mind ~ but it was American "will" to be free and willing to fight and die for it. ~

These people are not like young America and can be talked into dieing for just about anything and have not clear direction or focus on the 21 Century ~ They want to live in the 12th Century ~ so let them. ~ with Gods speed , let them. That their are self defeating in their direction ~ so be it. ~ It a fool folly we play ~ and I curse the day ~ our leadership ever got involved with them. ~

For 1/10th the money ~ I could supplied you with Bin Laden head in half the time it's taken us to get where we are today.

Anybody that voted for MC Cain the brown nose maverick , the hero POW. ~ LosT !

Obama is not skirting hard issues as far as I can tell, ~ There is a lot going on behind the scenes that we are not catching wind of. It has to be this way, both business and military secrets are a hard reality and must be factored in as a unknown possibility. As the Bush administration should have taught us (if you didn't know already) things are rarely as the seem.

Wall Street, I understand little about ~ but what happens there "matters" ~ It my hope that leadership has assembled bright people to that do understand it's complexity and are working on so correction. ~ This kind of work takes time and it done behind closes doors and out of view only to suddenly appear on the front page news.

I was not aware that my tax dollars was subsidizing other American's Major Medical Plans. I was not aware that Insurance providers enjoyed antitrust immunity . I was not aware that that America health care cost has increased 5 to 10 times the rate of everything else they might spend their money on just in the last 15 years. I was not aware that America was the only country of the top 5 nations that didn't offer it's citizens so type of health care. I didn't know that is was possible for big companies to privatize their profits and socialize their losses. I didn't know there was a such a thing as welfare for the wealthy. I didn't know that companies could package and mislabel product and sell them at a increased price and not be committing a crime. I didn't know insurance companies could offer insurance to product while not having the money to back them, default and no one goes to jail ~ but actually pay it's employees huge performance bonus. ~ I don't know how all this happened. ~ I don't know how Home Land Security made us any better off. I don't why there not more people in jail. I don't know why D1ck Chaney thinks anyone is interested in listening to him. I don't know why anyone would want to go bird hunting with him or listen to his daughter ( the straight one) . I don't know what's to win in Iraq! I don't know what to win in Afghanistan.

I do know that John Mc Cain was not up to the job ~ of addressing all these thing. ~ Maybe when he was a young man ~ but not today.

So you got Obama , and at it's so clear here and on Capital Hill , he's being resisted at every turn in the road by people that think they know something and have a better idea.

I'm beginning to think Obama might be ready to cut and run in Afghanistan.

Want that give you" disenchanted ones" something to hoot about! I can hear you now. " He lost and perfectly good un-winnable war ! What a waste! We could have make a "cat box" out of it!

A graceful withdrawal ~ like in 5 minutes! is what I propose I wish it was possible ~ We need to get into a position of containment and let the country rot from within. If he was listening, that's what I'd say to him.

Since killing them all and letting God sort out the good ones from the bad one is not an option on the table. I see no other way out of this insane debacle. The chance to win was lost in 2002. ~ If there was to be such a thing as a "win" l

The American people only wanted One skinny raghead. Al rest of this is Carl Rove and D1ck Chaney nonsense.

That Obama hasn't made know his decision about sending more toops, I take as a encouraging sign. Obama can't trust the Afgan's as well as many of our own people with delicate information. Like this Pete Hoekstra,

"In 2004, Hoekstra broke his term limits pledge by announcing that he would run for a seventh term, citing his membership on the Select Committee on Intelligence. By this time he had also accepted an amount of money from political action committees; in 2006 alone, Hoekstra had accepted more than $160,000 "

The man likes his job!

"Asked if there was a concern that Hoekstra was leaking sensitive information, a Republican spokesman for the House intelligence committee told Maddow’s show, “I do not know, guessing, since [Aulaqi] was deported, he knew he was a target anyways.” Maddow noted that Aulaqi wasn’t “deported,” but rather left the country voluntarily, according to the 9-11 Commission. (Aulaqi had contacts with some of the 9-11 hijackers.)

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Silvestre Reyes (D-TX) said, “I am disappointed that some have rushed to the news media with unfounded information in order to gain headlines.”

Hoekstra has been trying to use the Ft. Hood shootings to engage in a political attack against Obama, claiming “administration officials delayed briefing members of Congress about the alleged gunman,” thus raising “red flags” about what the White House was hiding. “What do they know that they don’t want us to know?” Hoekstra said on Fox News."

The man leaks information like an rust bucket! ~ He's a " tweeter" and keeps the whole world informed by the hour ~ and he chairs a Intelligence committee no less.
Our GOP working for you.

- I'm still wondering how much long the "Bush did it" excuse will be used by Obama and his supporters.

Not so much an excuse but a matter of public record ! And FOREVER! as you seem to keep wanting to forget. So when you start talking like you might have just fell off the turnip truck yesterday, we feel inclined to remind you and feel sorry for you and your lack of memory as to where you came from and how you got here.

No excuse necessary ~ for a good memory. I will never forget and I won't allow you too. The cost paid was too high to permit you to forget.

So are we clear on that? The answer will be the same tomorrow and the next day and the next day. As many times as you forget ~ there will be someone to refresh your memory.

Well this notion some people have of Obama being the messiah is false, much like many other notions they have . It seems that they have become so accustom to being wrong for so long , they have developed a health appetite for eating crow. Where anal retention is superseded by only the ability to think that blind fate, veiled bigotry and ignorance a virtue.

That they live in America where any opinion is a right and a privilege to voice is no accident and something the rest of us must endure. But it doesn't mean we can't laugh at them in their folly and the childish understanding of the world they live in.

Where the process if knit-picking , embellishing and indulging in pettiness is considered some kind of a team sport and a feeble attempt to divert people attention from the serious issues of the day. As they play into the hands of "special interest" and refuse to take the medicine that will cure like small children that must be chased down to doctor.

Mankind has always been his worst enemy, ~ " I have met the enemy and it is I"

You people are so funny ~ your killing me here. Enough already, when are you going to take life a little more serious and become responsible grown ups and educated thinkers.

Subject:
<div class="quote"> Obama is spending more money on the war than Bush did from what the numbers are telling us. More troops=more $$$

Considering all war materials, personal and VA expenses , pay-offs , black opts ,etc ~ Bush spent 4 trillion dollars and left a job undone and Bin Laden flipping us the bird.

Presently 188 thousand troops are in both theaters as I've read one place . Which is in conflict with the numbers below offered by the Washington Post.

>>Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, October 13, 2009

President Obama announced in March that he would be sending 21,000 additional troops to Afghanistan. But in an unannounced move, the White House has also authorized -- and the Pentagon is deploying -- at least 13,000 troops beyond that number, according to defense officials.

The additional troops are primarily support forces, including engineers, medical personnel, intelligence experts and military police. Their deployment has received little mention by officials at the Pentagon and the White House, who have spoken more publicly about the combat troops who have been sent to Afghanistan.

The deployment of the support troops to Afghanistan brings the total increase approved by Obama to 34,000. The buildup has raised the number of U.S. troops deployed to the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan above the peak during the Iraq "surge" that President George W. Bush ordered, officials said.

The deployment does not change the maximum number of service members expected to soon be in Afghanistan: 68,000, more than double the number there when Bush left office. Still, it suggests that a significant number of support troops, in addition to combat forces, would be needed to meet commanders' demands. It also underscores the growing strain on U.S. ground troops, raising practical questions about how the Army and Marine Corps would meet a request from Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan. <<

So you sure can't fault Obama for not support our men and women in uniform. Even though it was a war he was very much against from the offset ~ If you'd listen to him then ~ we could have saved all that loot your wringing your hand over like an old widowed woman.

and then you have the real human cost ! ~

Well ~ I think everyone knows it must be paid for and is nether a right or a privilege.

I don't think that's the fuss.

It's more like you having to pay 200% more them you should for a nice heavy frame 357 S&W with a one inch barrel ( a working man piece) . ~ You may have the right to have it ~ but it's out of your reach. And the times you're allowed to use it and what you use it for, is dictated to you by contract. With any breach of contract privileges resended.

well maybe everybody don't know that ~ but that's because of the juicy deal congressmen and senators have allowed Insurance companies ~ They have a duck shoot ~ from the womb to the tomb ~ they've got your happy ass.

Think about it for a minute ~~~~~ this healthy care reform has little to do with a "give-me"

and much to do with the power of special interest as they bleed us dry like a Louisanna tick on an old hound. `

That you are not sick yet ~ is good. ~ but someday ~ your time too shall come.

I have a sister-in-law that came down with this swine flu ~ She's been in ICU 3 weeks hanging on by a thread. ~ On the 4 day when her kidney failed and heart stopped ~ they took control of all her body functions ~ I never seen so many machines , wire and tubes. ~ Put her under with drugs so she wouldn't fight all the wires and tubes for two weeks.

Tomorrow she coming out of ICU and into a rehab hospital for two week to learn to use her body again. ~ It free, someone donated the money, because she's a fighter and survivor ~ it was one hell of a fight. This an extreme case ~ but what ever the bill will be ~ it could never be paid in one life time.

The point? I 'm not sure there is one ~ what price do we place on a life? Insurance companies deal with such things everyday along with doctors and staff.

I'm thinking ~ they need to be paid well ~ but these numbers are beyond imagination.

Bottom line ~ get sick enough , and can't find the help ~ you'll die.

Health Care a "right" ? ~ well No and yes !

It appears that government is and has been in the health care business for some time.

In fact ~ paid off politicians ~ have seen to it that it a very lucturive business. Having anti-trust immunity as I understand. ~

It's so lucturive I'm paying for someone else medical coverage while I ain't afford it for myself!

Now ~ how is that really suppose to work for me?

It's so lucturive we can't seem to affect any change in the present setup, as the power and influence of "special interest" fights us tooth , hair and nail to resist any change.

I figure if I'd having to buy someone else ~ perhaps someone might buy mine? NO?

Well, why not, if I must pay for other people health care?

What the people are asking for i ~ Hmm ? I suppose that's impossible.

If they got it affordable enough ~ they are afraid too many people will actually use it!

Damn , we can't allow that to happen. I'd break us!

Health care "should not" be a right but it should be within the reach of say 80% of the people, letting churches and private funding, etc pick up the rest, they one that fall through the cracks.

But the present prices of health care are inflated some 200% as far as 'I'm concerned.

Beyond a working persons reach ~ If I didn't have to pay income tax, state tax, school tax, personal property tax, user tax, road tax , city sales tax and didn't have to buy General Libility business Insurance, Car insurance, house Insurance I think I could afford Medical Insurance. ~

But, having insurance these days ~ just mean that! ~ you got it ~ but you better not dare attempt to use it. They don't want you to use it ~ just buy it. If you do use it ~ it only make it more difficult to afford ~ and it will carry only more disclaimers.

So ~~~ these special interest group are holding us hostage.

It'd be nice if it was privilege ~but your privilege is to die and they want to take that away from you along with your money. So your privilege is only to endure and suffer.

So far it's not against the law to owe someone. Now when they take that away ~ we are really screwed.

Right. Okay. >**I dislike the award because it is a product of the media worshipping him in my opinion. >However, I understand the allure of the fairy-tale. Free/affordable pie for all! > Yes, I agree that the healthcare system needs fixing, but I don't think Obama's plan is the way. >> cash for clunkers=fail > they want to run healthcare? LOL >He's already done enough damage. I'm worried what this country is going to be like after just one term. I can't stand to think what he'd do with 2 >Think about it. CURRENTLY there is a shortage of nurses schedualled to peak around 2020. >> What Obama proposes will not only be an invasion of the person's privacy, but it will destroy that balance and hospitals will be over-run, >>If 96% of America can get into a hospital when it needs it...what do you think will happen? Hospitals are already stretching their staff to the max >>You think nursing is easy, >>funny how no one will answer the question, what percentage of Blacks voted for McCain and what percentage of whites voted for Obama? >>Take away the teleprompter and he sounds like a complete moron. >>There is nothing brilliant about being able to read from a teleprompter<<<< And who made such a claim?

You say one trillion and I've heard other say much the same things as well and at the same time I hear of the cost being netural, with cutting out waste and better over all management.

I prefer to think both an embellishment and the cost being somewhere in the middle.

That England and Canada can find a way to offer their citizens access to affordable health care yet North Americans can't ~ I find that odd.

That as it presently stands now ~ while I have no coverage on myself yet "my" tax dollars goes to subsides employee that "do" , I find that equally odd.

While I really don't think government should be in the health care business ~ it appears they already are and I had little to say about it. ~

What is being asked for, is a little more fairness and equitable for all concerned.

But the one's that's enjoyed the sweet side of the present setup protest and think it's fair that I help pay for their medical coverage. ~

I however do not. ~ The disparity is overwhelming.

This is very much like attempting to resend as planned the tax breaks for the wealth. ~ They have become accustom to the present rate and feel that they are deserving and feel this is an attack on them because they are wealthy.

There's a lot of us finding ourselves on the short end of this deal and we're telling you, it can not continue and asked for an adjustment.

Now take that anyway you want too. ~ Capitalism, supply and demand ~ market value, however you want to view it. But somethings gotta change.

As for all this disdain and ill will directed toward the current President ~ I will address later but for now only say ~ It's unnecessary and well over the top and outside any realm of political discourse. The motives given fail to justify the personal flares and pettiness offered.

Everything starts and end somewhere . ~

If I borrowed your car ~ and return it running on fumes ~ throw you the keys and say Thanks A lot! ~ and when you run out of gas on the way to the Gas station ~ It's not my problems? It all your problem? ~ I bear no fault or responsibility. ~ It's all your fault for loaning it to me. LOL! ~ It could easily be looked at that way and the criminal mind does. ~~ Obama didn't have to run for President ~ But to say he knew actually what he was getting into, is pure bull crap and you know it. But I doubt if it'd changed anything if he had, only seeing a greater need to serve.

You are not being very realistic ~ and there a reason for this ~ And you can't tell us your reason why because down deep you know your thinking has a bias that you can't expose to us. So you're left to make up petty girly whiney things that's beneath you.

And the same thing goes for the poster that would hold a grudge for Obama receiving an award. ~ The President didn't seek such an award. But you wish to despise him for receiving it. ~ And why is that? ~ You know why, but you can't tell us why. ~ Because it wouldn't be socially unacceptable. It would show us how tiny you are. ~ So you just hate and really can't tell us why. ~ You don't like the fact that many other people fail to agree with you or understand your hate ~ and you really trapped with it and it makes you hate all the more!

Personally, ~ the award surprises me as well ~ but this should tell you what the rest of the world thinks ~ Now where that's important of not ~ we can debate.

I think you are all sickly funny bunch of puppies. You've got something stuck inside your craw that's killing you and you can't spit it out ~ so you just whine and choke and make up things Like ****y little girls that's not getting their way.

I feel you pain! ~ I really do ~ and I love it.

I 'd don't even care that much about Obama ~ he was the best of the two and so far hasn't done anything to prove otherwise. The choice wasn't " rocket surgery " But I'm sure enjoying the show as people choke on their veiled bigotry and they refuse to spit it out for us to all see.

Many ~ but not all Americans are part of all these people ~ I have no great bias myself ~ and see myself as many races of people. but mostly German / Irish, If I lived a life in a small community or Island ~ I could see how people would be sensitive to regional differences.

So forgive me if I offend. ~ I was thinking Benny Hill was a Brit. ~ From here ~ That's a short distance from Ireland yet I know the difference is profound and the history violent.

Most American are mongers ~ or use to be. ~ We getting a lot of East Indians and Arabs these days. They seem to like our women ~ I can't say the same about theirs. Not hardly a fair trade if you ask me.

American Anglo's really fit best us I suppose. ~ I still love good stories and the sweet sound of a violin or viola and quality firearms and potatoes and admire both the German and Irish

lol Dance you are so pro Obama it makes me want to puke. Do you not understand that we all agree Bush sucked. Everyone knows that. It is time to STOP blaming Bush and try and work on things to move forwards.

I am pro President ~ I only had two choices , he was the better of the two.

And in "no way" is it a matter of blaming Bush. ~ It's a well know fact . That you wish to ignore this, while expecting this President to correct 8 years of wrong in 8 months. ~ You are being very unrealistic and I wish to point that out to you. Things don't move or change that fast when it comes to national policy and programs. Obama is President and not a messiah. But if by chance he was, it took the 1200 years for the last messiah to affect any noticeable change ~ in world events. ~ So if you are excepting Mc Donald service ~ you need to go to Mc Donald's and place your order.

And moving forward is not what these talking heads like Beck and Rush are interested in. They are attempting to divert your attention away from "special interest" and their paid off cronies and middle man. ~ And they doing a very good job of it with some noise people that just want to be anger. ~ This is the same bunch that kept the Bush agenda. And here you are buying it yet once again.

When will people finally realize...republicans AND democrats both have MAJOR FLAWS AND CROOKS...it isn't one party that is hurting America...it is both! Both parties are CORRUPT.

If you are looking for an argument, you won'tfind it here. ~ But again I tell you it's the power and influence of special interest. ~ You know? the guys that send you Beck, Rush and ~ All extentions of Karl Rove and Company with Ruppert Murdock again furnishing the platform.

Obama hasn't been in long enough to "fail" ~ but there is plenty of people working to see that he does. ~ If he does fail , we do too. ~ So you are willing to celebrate that? I think many are ~ as they express unfound hatred for the man. It more like cutting your nose off to spite your face. No one person can define the reason for such hate.

As far as the poster that brought forward budgetary failures and programs failures. ~ I'm not sure what you are talking about. ~ While you say no one can explain them ~ perhaps you be kind enough to articulate , like" what and when" and then you might get an answer.

Many of you talk like you care ~ but about what, is not clear as you shoot yourself in the foot.

I can't think of one instance in the last 9 months where my freedom or liberty has been altered "at all" ~ now the 8 years prior ~ Oh yes! ~ It seems that " Immigration and Naturalization Service served us poorly and let some coc~kroackes in, And the "FBI" failed us and didn't catch a internal plot and the "CIA" failed us by not staying on top of things.

So ~ Instead of the President, cutting off some head and bring down Hells Fire ~ he decided to create some more Federal Government Via "Home Land Security" thinking maybe they just might work, since the rest didn't. ~ Then our Bill of Rights was compromised so they could chase down anyone they thought was a "Bad Guy" ~ and they assume "everyone" is a bad guy until found different. So basically you now have "big brother" up you ass and somehow this is just Dandy.

All because the Government that was in place was not doing their damn job. ~ Nor was the Attorney General Office or was the Securities and Exchange" ~

But just for fun ~ let's Blame Obama ~ It sounds fitting and the mind set that got us into this mess.
>>"
What interview was this? You're quoting, right? Unless you're confused about punctuation"<<

Those sentences does not sound like a typical Obama response but more MC Cain actually.

Obama is probably one of the best orators we've had as president, not as gifted as Reagan but that was Reagan primary profession. I hear people suggest he does'nt make sense and he fumbles at times. ~ The fumbles, yes, sometimes, we all do, but he's always been clear and concise . The failure to understand is not Obama's. I could never understand my English Lit teacher either, feeling certain she didn't have a clue what she was talking about, ~ for I sure didn't .

Like I said earlier, they are going to attempt to take him apart, from assshole to appetite .
If you listen to such attacks and take them seriously you'd wonder how such a man might find his way to the supper table much less Capital Hill.

agree! way too early ~ it took 5 years to withdraw from Nam. ~ And they were "smart" people. We are not working with "smart people" in Iraq or Afghanistan . This will be no help to Obama. `

The GOP choose to not run on the issues last time around but character and attempted to trash Obama at every turn. The next time around they will only have more to throw. And they will throw it ! everything that's not nailed down. ~ It's going to be nasty.

Presently the GOP is greatly divided and still seems to pander to the far right~ which won't give them the numbers they need to win. The only way they can pull 2012 off considering their present track is the make themselves appear to be the "better" of two evils.

Obama needs to knock one or two out of the park, only then will he be seen as a "heavy hitter" He needs a track record. ~ This~ job creation needs to start being seen by more people and soon. Like early Rome , ~ the "peoples" need to see a show ~ anything to make them feel somethings happening.

Should the President render salutes to military personnel ?
Posted: 11/8/2009 7:40:40 AM
I think this is a fools folly myself and there is more pressing matters at hand.

But at the moment I need some distraction from the realities I've been handed this morning.

If you have it be so , we might endulge law makers to address this quandary and come forward with an infinitive solution on the matter of the Presidential salute.

I'm quite sure this could be done.

My first question might well be ~ who else might the President salute besides military personnel? ~ For if we are going to such lengths to define and narrow intent and purpose, I'd sure not wish to leave anyone, party or group left out.

And there is a walking salute and a Attention Salute. There is occassions both formal and informal, there is locations in and outdoors, There is all kinds of military presence around the President 24/7. ~ The President can't step out of the Oval office and to the Rose Garden without confronting at least two military Scentry guards.

So you are opening up a big can of worms here.

I'm with the prior poster, ~ that offered that if the President is seen as "pandering" by saluting ~ He would equally be "pandering" to "others" that wished him not. I don't see this as pandering anymore then, opening up a door for someones with arms loaded.

If I was President ~ and asked such questions as this or if I had , had sex with "this" woman, I have you escorted off the property and have the FBI do a background search on you to see what your motives were and if you were a threat to me. I'd not mess with you and you'd be wise to be squeaking clean or I'd show you what anal retention is all about.

~ Thanks for the diversion ~ I feel some better now ~ But I still need some thing to kick around, somebody to make my day.

Is senator Graham calling it like it is?
Posted: 11/7/2009 7:13:09 AM
I assure you I have been here ~ I been engage in politics long before your prophet Glenn Beck got his first pair of long pants.

And it's true we helped the French in their time of darkness ~ when the dark forces of fascism raised it's ugly head through out Europe, ~ much like it attempting to rise again here in the US today.

But there is a time line to consider ~ History is a progression of events ~ This time line voids out any argument that you attempt to make about the French. ~ unless of course you wish to move history around for your personal understand and validation for your own twisted "views" We could well say, " If a pig had wings it'd fly" ~but pigs don't have wings ~ so any point is lost and your left with only a comical image of a flying pig.

Some people here in America today are falling into the same footstep of the German people after WWI. with the hate and anger for their fellow American. Willing to Lay blame are the wrong doorstep~ with one stroke of a wide brush "Liberal" You are looking for someone to blame for your pain and the things you see that "wrong" . ~ The truth of it is , you are late in being engaged and paying attention to your leaders and world events. Where was you when we needed your support and offering resistance to the" powers that be" years ago?

So it is only now that you have woke up ~ and see the present course is unsustainable. Well , Good Morning! How was your nap?

You need to get up to speed, there's a lot that you have missed while you grew up and was snoozing.

It took years to get here and it will take years to get out ~ This notion of laying waste to the whole country and government and starting all over that you and Beck entertain ~ is "not" an option.

And calling me names ~ and labeling me ~ just shows everyone here how simple minded you really are and how foolish your ideas are.

This tiny crowd that you follow is just loud ~ in an attempt to make up for their small numbers. ~ Resolve and Resolution is not what they seek but a scorched earth cleansing.

And it may well happen ~ but if it does , you and me and all Americans will suffer like we've never suffered before and it will take two decades minimum to rebuild. This fight for "ideas" is what keeps places like Iraq and Afghanistan one step above a Stone Age existence.

Today, we suffer from the power of special interest as their money and influence has our elected politicians bought off as they bleed the nation of it's personal wealth. ~ This is the "enemy" and human suffering and conflict is their game. There has always been good money is war for a few and their "hanger on" crowd. All the middle men. ~ Much like the "Gentery" and Knights of old Brittan and her Royalty. All the rest being peasants and of no great importance other then to pay the Tax man and provide conscripts of regional warfare at the whims of the Royalty.

Each life is comprised of minutes ~ what you fill them with is your business . But I don't like having to take out someone else's trash. ~ You take out your own garbage. And you are talking garbage out of your Flustration and inability to make the changes that need to be made overnight. ~ What you want can't happen overnight ~ even if you do lay waste to the whole country.

So I suggest you cool your jets and realized you not in this alone and we have more then one group of peoples interest to consider. We endevor to get from point A to point B with all cargo and crew accounted for. We might well takes some losses along the way but we'er not throwing people or cargo over board and we are not scuttling the vessel.

Do older women fancy quite younger men?
Posted: 11/7/2009 5:32:34 AM
Spontaneous exposure to pomigranite in the fruits and vegetable isle could well have created stonehenge. I got a rise out of the story.

If I were you, I'd try it again. ~ I had the same thing happen in Dairy Products last week! I was having a tough decision with some hard Mexican cheese and this young brown Goddess from out of nowhere appear and took my hand and filled my head with wild thoughts ~ and poof! , she was gone. but the cheese was excellent!

I've never seen anything so beautiful before. ~ I think I need a cigarette.

Do older women fancy quite younger men?

Some do and some don't

Some women are immature for their age ~ and a younger man works

Some women are very mature and would feel like they are babysitting.

Some women just want a good romp and feel their efforts better served looking among the young instead of a hard search to find someone her age that can deliver the package.

They are out there ~ but the older we all get ~ the few there are that can preform at high levels. But they have this same problem with younger men as well it's just not as pronounced.

Rare is the time I find an even match ~ it's hard ~ but great when you are so lucky.

But in the end ~ she's looking for a total package. A man that can deliver and hang ~ a man that can allow her to be herself. A man that knows when to quit talking. A man that knows what not to say. A man that can make her laugh. A man that makes her feel secure and safe.

If she can find all that in a younger man ~ she will take it.

Should the President render salutes to military personnel ?
Posted: 11/6/2009 2:39:08 PM
Well OP I respect your views but I'm not sure how you arrived at them or why you feel so deeply about them. ~ We are all men and women first and the we take on roles and position.

Being a protestant and already having a Dad ~ I've had a hard time calling a priest "Father" ~ but I'm not sure if this is the same thing.

The Founding Fathers ~ became military men ~ out of need . ~ George Washington wanted , was offered and accepted the position as Commander of the Continental Army.

When this work was done, he accepted the position as President and was offered more.

That he retired and passed the position on ~ a president was started and later defined as our early government defined itself and how things would work with separation of powers and the separation of church and state.

The President is still seen today as the Supreme Commander above all other's. ~

This nation was forged by military might as civilian united and committed to the cause of the ideas of "free men" Free men can not be free without a military.

I feel you are reading more into the salute then what is being offered. This is something that is exclusive and permitted for this "one" civilian" One needs to bear in mind he represents every American. Including the one's that have weivered their "bill of rights" to be soldiers. He is more then just their President he is their Commander.

As we have learned , the act of returning a military salute has evolved much like our nation and it's government.

You see harm ~ where I see none.

The Founding Fathers of the United States were the political leaders who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 or otherwise took part in the American Revolution in winning American independence from Great Britain, or who participated in framing and adopting the United States Constitution in 1787-1788, or in putting the new government under the Constitution into effect. Within the large group known as "the founding fathers," there are two key subsets, the Signers (who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776) and the Framers (who were delegates to the Federal Convention and took part in framing or drafting the proposed Constitution of the United States). Most historians define the "founding fathers" to mean a larger group, including not only the Signers and the Framers but also all those who, whether as politicians or jurists or statesmen or soldiers or diplomats or ordinary citizens, took part in winning American independence and creating the United States of America.[2] The eminent American historian Richard B. Morris, in his 1973 book Seven Who Shaped Our Destiny: The Founding Fathers as Revolutionaries, identified the following seven figures as the key founding fathers: Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton.[3]

Some people have strong feeling ~ We had a bulletin board in the company area back in Nam. On it, was photographs of the chain of command. ~ Our Latrine was outdoors and large 55 gal, barrels buried in the ground with screen covering the top. ~ On morning I went to pee and someone with "strong feeling" had removed Nixon picture and placed it over the screen. ~ So why ? why such strong feeling? and such strong reactions ?

I 'll never known.

Should the President render salutes to military personnel ?

Obama is the Commander in Chief, the head of all our country's armed services.
And yes, as much as I do not like many of Obama's policies this is one of the dumbest tit bits brought forward on Obama.

Well the OP didn't start it out that way ~ he took excepting with any President returning a salute. ~ Or at least thats the way it was presented.

It would not surprise me that some might direct it at the sitting president. ~ It seems to be a gang bang sport to attack everything Obama says and does.

He is the President and like other President's before him ~ he takes liberties.

That many have disliked him from the off set ~ and found fault in the smallest of things it's not anything new. ~ He was attacked for offering everyone to check the air pressure in your car tires to ensure better gas mileage to failing to put his hand over his heart when they played " Old McDonald had a Farm" ~

The C&C can salute are he wants too ! and is head of the military of the United States of America the most awesome military force know to mankind. But that comes at a great price and great responsibilities. To know one "can" ~ does not mean one "should."

In the act of saluting ~ I prefer a snappy return myself. ~ It's fitting.

Military guards, sentry and picketts serve a purpose ~ to over see security ~ that's made harder if required to hold a salute for your eyes must be fixed for the return or until the President has left the area.

So it makes perfect sense to return a salute.

We know the sycophants on the left won't self regulate but we hold our politicians to a higher standard. And we won't stand for that kind of cronyism from the GOP any longer. It seems the only people who want responsible government anymore is those that attend Tea Parties. The rest of the nation is fine with the status quo as long as their people are in power.

Total agree! The problem I'm have is that many of these same people that are spearheading this movement are the same ones that that got us where we are at today. ~They have called me unAmerican, unChristian, Picko , Tree Hugger, Give-me-crat, Dripping Liberal, Bleeding heart Liberal, Baby Killer, and lately a "brown clown lover" for refusing to support 43's administration and now this new packaging they offering . From heated debates to bar fights with threats of gun play. It's the same old thing ~ all over again!

So I agree whit what you are saying but I don't see any change ~ they are flying the same banner , calling me the same things and telling me they are "different!"

It's the same alpha monkey disguised in a different outfit! and the organ grinder is still Karl Rove and Company.

If this group can seperate it's self from the like of KR, Chaney, Newt , Rush, and Bill O'Really only then might they be believable and that they are different.

They won't do that ~ it would be impossible for them to, it's be like cutting off an arm.

Can you prove the media is liberally biased?
Posted: 11/5/2009 4:58:49 PM
Subject:

The funny thing is that Rather thought he was unbiased.

Well that's the way bias seems to work ~ from the 'thought level"

Rather was attempting to expose some unattractive truths that had been skillfully cover up long ago. Rather was on a quest! like blood hound. that's what he did and what he was.

Rather found himself in a squeeze play and was compromised and handed over by CBS. I've read a lot on this. It's a very interesting story the deeper you dig and learn who's who and what brought all these forces together.

Bottom line ~ Dan didn't have the juices to see it through ~ his gun to tiny and many didn't care to know the truth.
