Has anyone been brave enough to meet someone with no pic at all?

Sure I have gone out on a date without ever seeing a photo of this very pleasant and articulate (over the phone and IM) woman. After showing up at her door to begin our date (dinner), I was very pleased with her appearance and demeanor. After a great night of conversation and getting to know one another, I was more than pleased with my "courage" to go on a date without ever seeing what she looked like.......so after this GREAT date, I would not hesitate to do it again; after all "the biggest risk.....is NOT taking one." And what a well rewarded risk this date was!!!

A few years past I met this woman on the internet. Although she had no photograph posted, she was very articulate in her writing, and after a few telephone conversations, delightful and fun. We decided to go to dinner together (she had seen photographs of me). You can imagine the anticipation as I knocked on the door waiting for her to appear. To my delight she answered with a beautiful smile, pretty, and wearing a nice dress (I love dresses; not on me of course!). We went to dinner at a nice French restaurant; the conversation flowed effortlessly and we were soon laughing and having a wonderful time together. After a couple of hours we decided to go dancing at a nice club nearby. The date couldn't have been nicer! As I was driving down Seaward boulevard we kept talking.........about everything. I was so entranced with her and how well the night was going, I "spaced" a red light, nearly hit another car, and spun out in the center of the intersection. Needless to say/write the blind date of all blind dates, ended as we came to an abrupt stop. She was crying and frightened; I was so sorry for the driving blunder I had made (first time I had ever ran a red light). In any event she wanted to go home. I walked her to the door, sincerely apologized, gave her a hug, and drove slowly away. I never saw or talked to her again, to my dismay.
