I am an extreme newbie and believe the forums could be so helpful in getting t know people. Especially when so many people seem to be shy about sending messages. What better way to determine who you may want to get to know better. I'm also almost sad I didn't become single 3 yrs ago rather than now.

Ok, I just read your profile and if I were a man the pics wouldn't scare me away, but your profile would. I personally like your directness, as I am the same way, but you have way too many specifics that could could be deciphered as negatives.

Nix the fishing on a first date? I think that's an original idea, though, it would limit your pool, unfortunately. I guess people don't realize that there are actually many things you could learn about a person while fishing with them.

I definitely relayed the wrong impression. I was being sarcastic about the weight. Should I still remove or can I add something to show that if weight is a problem you should stop now? Irish Eyez, my 3rd sentence (I believe) states what I want. Should I expand? Thanks

Ok, I'm brand new to this or any website. I've read many of the profile review threads and think mine may need an overhaul. My boss says I'm concise (she likes novels I might add) and I may have done that here. What do you think?

I was not looking, but also not ready to take my profile down, especially since he has been so inconsistent. I don't know if this has anything to do with it. Maybe he saw me online and it bothered him, but I doubt it! Most of the time that I log on, it is to see if he is online and he is... I really don't remember everything in your first post. I only remember your second. Is there a little emoticon that screams WARNING, DANGER, you don't trust him and he doesn't appear to be as serious about you as you are him.

I think trust, respect, compromise, and honest communication are the keys to a relationship. I will always let you walk in front of, or beside, me and I am new to online anything, but your comment " I will always let you walk..... is scary.
