If you think that is bad, I sat through an Aaron Carter concert with my ex-girlfriend and 4 screaming 11 year olds, where is the tylenol!

I work 2-10 permanently so I am a late owl, usually 1 am, I don't require a lot of sleep either, 4-6 hours usually but sometimes have to recharge and sleep 7-8 hours!

I am not scared about getting old, I have had a good life and three healthy boys, but I will say that I don't like the aches and pains that come with aging, always was and still am very active but those little creaks and cracks getting up in the morning are the pits! If you feel old then you will be old, if you set your mind to remain as young as possible then it removed most of the fear of being old.

I am a veteran, spent eight years in, fought in Grenada, my Dad a Korean vet, my uncle WWII, my son Iraq, we have served proudly and although did not agree with some of the wars never questioned my duty! I am just so glad that my son came back alive, I have a female friend on here, Roxi, whos son just completed his Marine basic training, Roxi, I will say a prayer for him!

I have read that before Roxi, and being a Vet and having a son that is in the Navy it makes you think, I know alot of people oppose the war, but those young men and women over there have no choice, alot of them enlisted because of poverty, job training and the chance to get there college paid for, but they are still are sons and daughters and I pray for them every chance I get! Right or wrong, are young men and woman are being killed every day over seas, you can rebuild countries but you can never replace the life of a fallen soldier or repair the damage done to his or her family! Tink, I would not think any less of you, you seem like a warm, caring, funny woman! My oldest son is bi-polar and on meds, I love him dearly, he could be difficult at times, but he is a human being first and foremost and deserves respect and love, even though he is bi-polar. I would date someone with depression, there are lots of meds out there to treat and help!

Wes I know where you are coming from , it sounds like a mirror image of what happened to me, BUT if it was not meant to be it was not meant to be, I harbor no bitterness or resentment or reservations about woman, just like us men they are all different, you just have not found the right one and the ones you lost, its there loss not yours! I am a very active 50 year old, I loath laying around except for the occasional down time, ie when its pouring rain, or 60 below zero a good movie, I would love to find someone, I am flexible , very open and would give and take in a relationship but I believe my next one we will have to be friends and have some chemistry between us in order for it to work. Just hang in there Wes, you have your children, mine are grown and flown the coop so to speak, it could happen anytime!

If I found my soulmate, I would be willing to relocate, with my sons grown and on there own, I look at it as the second half of my life! I know some would not but true love is sometimes not right around the corner and I feel you could miss out on your true love if you limit yourself to your own backyard so to speak!

I have never been to Cuba, sounds like a blast, right now just taking mini- vacations to see a lot of the USA that I missed when I was younger! Been to many countries, Korea, Japan, Austrailia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, England and 99% of the time the people are so friendly and helpful. As a man I think you are safer but still have to avoid certain areas in countries just like here in the USA.

Silver Lake by Wild Rose is crystal clear, beverages, toys allowed, camping 10 minutes away, no motor boats allowed just paddle boats and canoes, that is one reason the water stays so nice, cost a dollar to get in but is well worth it, also slides for kids into the water.

Dear purplecraze, you should know that if you have faith that there is forgiveness. Sounds to me like your self-esteem is low to, your looks and body are a shell its what inside your heart and soul that really counts, if you are unsure about dating maybe you should take a break and just make some friends on here.
