Hope, not really sure where your comment
I think you are putting your wishes before theirs
Is comming from.
Obv they want a dog, and so would I, but im being realistic, I work im not at home, im being "responsible"
So the compromise and best sense thing to get is a ginuea pig. Un like a hampster they can play with it, without it poss wissing across the floor under the sofa or something.

Someone said about the kids looking after the pet whilst im at work, as they are only 8 themselves, thats a NO NO
10 hours in the house alone, 4 days a week would be terible for a dog, and what would I come come to!!!
I think its a Ginuea pig..
Although i find them ugly.
I think really I wanted another dog, and comming on heres, maybe me realise its totally unpractical, really :( I knew that really :(

^^^ that might be so mr above poster, BUT I personaly think all children should experiance a pet, petting, loving, abit of responsibility ect ect - all part of relationship building ect.
When I look back at my childhood I think fondly of the cats we had, when they came for cuddles, and my dog, when I used to work it as a teenager (I was devestated when Sam died).
Atleast ive thought about it for 2 years, mulled it over, and even come on here for some advace (from people I dont know), rather than rush out at thier 1st wim and buy something.
Someone at work said they knew someone with a Tea Cup Yorkie, thats kept in a cage some of the day - is that out of order?
PS cant do ferrets, they make me shugger (and dont old men put those down thier trousers). As for a big snail, I have a snail phobea (long story).
What id rally like is a bald dog/cat, that doesnt bark/meow, can let its self out for wee's.. LOL

Just wanted to run something past other people.
I have 8 year old twins, and they really would like a pet.
I used to have hampsters when i was younger, and a dig at about 11 (yorkie)
I do think its an important part of a childs life, having a pet.
OK now fish are un pettable, I hate hampsters/rattie things.
I guess theres always a gineapig, but id worry incase a fox got it, and the children see me washing it off the patio (could scare a kid for life LOL)
I work 4 days a week, office hours, so is a small dog out of the question (ie tea cup yorkie) ??
Cant have a cat, illergic to them?

I knew someone who washed the dogs bowls up with her dishes, cups ect.. gross
I have OCD for cleaning, doc wanted to put me on pills for it (chill pills) - but i think its a good obsession LOL
It got worse in 2004 when i brought a Dyson, as now its an obsession to see how much dirt I can get up (as you can see it through in the collection box)
I know my kids will grow up, and thier childhood memories will be of me cleaning.. I even get them dusting the leather sofas, and TV area before we leave in the mornings.
GOD no wonder in single, men would be scared to come over incase I hoovered them up.
Actually taking of hoovering, I hoover my patio (geat for getting dirt out of the pointing)
You could eat your dinner off any of my floors or surfaces.
I collegue once collected something from mine, and knowing my problem, told me my living room was untidy just to wind me up (not a good thing to do) !!!!! the sod.

QUARN BURGERS HELP
Posted:
8/24/2009 1:35:10 PM
OK, now im a shit cook, or maye im just lazy.
Before kids I used to just eat beans or rice pudding from the tin.
Now I do cook things, but only if you get it out of a packet and put onto a baking tray.
Decided today, to start making more from scratch, basically then i know whats in there.
I find allot of veggie foods, have a high fat contents in (not all but some pre made stuff).
SO how does one make quarn Burgers
I have the following receipe. But what is Oyster Sauce all about in burgers??
Thanks for your help, any alternative receipes gladly received - next week im moving onto making a pie!!
250g Quorn Mince
1 small onion, chopped
1 chilli, chopped
Bits of coriander, chopped
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons Vegetarian oyster sauce (made of mushroom extract, and i swear it’s yummier than real oyster sauce )
1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
1-2 eggs (as a binder, add enough to allow mince to hold together)
Salt and pepper to taste, maybe even a dash of paprika for those who like it spicy!
Protocol:
Just add all ingredients above and mix till well-distributed.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and blob in a large spoonful of your patty-mix. Flatten with spatula to desired width and thickness!!!! Allow to brown, then flip over carefully and cook the other side.
Serve in burger buns with ketchup, grilled cheese, lettuce and whatever else you fancy

Full of pretty shallow and stupid individuals in my opinion!!
Obv never went to a rave, as they were full of friendly people, youd start by going with 2 matesm but then meet lots of new people, and end up in a group of 20
I NEVER saw any trouble, fights or attitude..
So you were totally wronge about your comment. Mind you in your snap you have your igh viz jacket on, so youd have fitted right in

I started raving in 87 at Berwick Manor Rainham, then moved onto Seduction Dance Weekenders Caister, roller express, chunnel, bagleys, cross, laberinth, club UK and loads of others.
I love it.
Best times were defo Seduction, Roller Express and Club UK
Got to know a few DJs, so got in on a few guest lists so saved a few pennies.
I liked trance and happy house, HATED hardcore and Jungle
Now and again I go onto Utube and play some old tunes.
Wouldnt want to do it now, im a responsitle mother of 2.

why cant i get work
Posted:

Its nice to see someone who wants to work, there are so many scrongers that dont
Most business have been hit, I work in shipping, and have seen so many small companies go pop. Infact our import trailers are less full, and less frequent than they used to be, and same with the exports.
I think we all have to ride the storm and hope we all come out of it as best we can
Try fliering/posting leaflets? adversising in sweet shops and free papers.
I wish I could suggest more, but I cant :(

Is it really better for you to drink bottled and/or mineral water rather than from the tap
And does it really come from ie volcano rock, how do we know they just dont fill it up from the tap
Sorry if its a stupid question, but doc says I dont drink enough water, so im just looking into it all.
And whats this about drinking hot water with lemon in 1st thing in the morning?

BUT a close mate is desperate to start a course.
But I hear you just shit yourself, and im thinking "this cant be good for the insides"
Anyone tried these?? I am trying to talk her out of it, shes over weight yes, and not sure she has the willpower to loose weight naturally.
But if this is going to mess her inside up, she needs to know the full story and whats to come in years to come (do they have side effect when not taking them)
All info appreciated, as just watching out for a mte :)

Also they said they took it in turns to check on all the children each night. So they were all leaving their children each night to eat at the tapas bar.
Did you hear the part where Jane said she looked in on her sick daughter? i couldnt believe she left a sick child to still go out
Yes I agree with the above, a would never eave my kids anyways
My life has been on the back burner since 2001 when they popped out.
I am lucky that I had a great holiday/clubbing/pubbing youth, and I my role now is to ensure my kids have a great childhood and are safe.
I worry if in the summer im on my patio, and they are inbed in the house. Infact ive often been out there for 5 mins, and come back in.
I like to hear whats going on!!!
Thats resturant was NOT near by, is was a far trot
That night all those parents put themselves 1st!!!

I have had many mixed feelings about this.
I have always felt sad for them, but also at angry. Angry they let her down, angry that they put themselves 1st to have a good time, and angry that now hundreds of parents (me inc) are paranoid.
I am off to Menorca in 6 weeks time, and although I always watch my kids like a hawk (I am 100% over protective dont even sit in my back garden in the summer, if they are in bed upstairs incase I cant hear whats going on in the house), im so para now, I shall sleep in thier bedroom on holiday (even if its on an inflatable) or I will have 1 in with me, and 1 in the other room with my mum.
But then maybe in a way theres a positive here, making us all see that there are wicked people out there, and that we need to hold our children close to us.
I only hope that she is not suffering.

Its important to know if somepone has kids.
Before I had mine I wouldnt have dated someone with kids, so id want to know before getting too envolved.
Call me shallow, what ever, I prob was then - but I didnt like kids, let alone someone elses (this was in my early 20's and one had ones head shoved up ones arse).
I would have felt pissed off it id grommed (so to speak) and met up a few times, a possible future partner, only to find out he had kids, and failed to tell me.

You know I dont post very often on here, although I answer my mail, and lurk the forums, but I have to say what a shame it is someone has said this thread should be deleted as its redundent.
I come on to ask genuine advise.
Sorry if its not an exciting topic like "my neighbours shagging my sisters mothers aunties, 3rd cousin removed" or "what cheese do you like and why"
I thought a forum was to discuss ect, isnt this a discussion.
Or do people just feel better self asteem by chosing to delete others topics?

Every week I defragment, clear cookies, do a windows defender run, and clear space / disk clean up.
I used yahoo as my web brouser, but have been told firefox is better??
I am on wireless with AOL, and i must admit find I have more probs with AOL than I ever did with BT broadband that I had for 8 years
I will close all other brouser windows when im camming now, see if that helps.
Not sure what down load package I paid for ??

After my dad died, we sorted through bits at mums, and I found the front part of a trainset (just the engine) and it was a TRIX train
It was just post war, and I looked into it all, and put it on ebay
I had a bidding war for it, and people contacting me to ask me to take money off auction.
In the end I accepted £280, and put it topwards my new Samsung 37" TV (I know dad wouldnt have minded)

Wondering if anyone can give me any tax advise.
If someone has a UK company (small about 15 people) but also have a non manned/not operated from - office/house in Southern Ireland under the same company name, would this be for tax purposes.
Is southern ireland a tax haven like Jersey ect?
What are the benefits of doing this.

Jade Goody Has Cancer
Posted:

I just read a comment on here quote
"one which should not be exploited by Miss Piggy!!!"
I am totally digusted at that and other comments, its certainly made me see a few forum posters in a diff light.
There are allot of celebs, or so called celebs that I cant stand.
I dont mind Jade, because shes REAL and is happy to take the piss out of herself, and has made me laugh a good few times.
I feel really sorry for her, as there must be nothing worse than dieing when you have younge children, when you always thought you would be there to protect them.
This whole thing has deeply upset me, being a mother of younge children myself.
I also hope that other ladies go and get that smear they have put off, and im know that this Jade story will save lives in the future
NO she isnt the only person to have cancer, but she has made her plight public because I truely think she wants to warn others (and so what if shes making a few bob, after all its for her kids futures, not hers now)
God bless you Jade.xx

Benefit cheats.... what more can be done ?
Posted:

i know several ladies up the school that have the council house for free, pay no council tax, and admit to me they get JUST under 1K a month from the government/benefit system.
2 I know have thier fella living there on the quiet, and he gives them £200 a week "house keeping" to live there.
Yes it pisses me off, yes im bitter.
I wanted a council house, but quote by the council "there are non left", so I struggled in my 1 bed batchular pad with my twins till they were 4, and I was brave enough to treble my mortgage and buy a house.
So having my nose rubbed into it by theese cheats who get just as much off the gov for sitting on ones arses, when I get JUST over that and have to work for it, and then they get the same again off partners living there ILLIGALLY is wrong.
Would I sqeal on them, prob not - as the saying goes "dont shit on your own door step" and I have to see these people up the school every day.

Also I have twins, and beleive me when they have thier mates round after school, its great having 7 seats.

I dont mind popping round to keep you warm.
Other than that oil filled radiators are good, as even when switched off (after heating) they hold their heat.
And eat lots of hot foods!!

Starving yourself?

I starved myself for 2 years and went down to 7 stone.
It gave me a buzz, to control my food - but really made me feel shit. My hair thinned/fell out, and ive now damaged the cartilage in my knees
It really isnt worth it in the long run

Has anyone ever done a home gall bladder flush
I beleive it consists of drinking apple jiuce for a few days, then flushing out with olive oil and lemon juice.
I just wondered if it worked for anyone?

What a find...

When my dad died 2004, we didnt throw anything away.
Then last year we decided that we had to make a start.
He had 2 pre war morris cars in the garage, that we got a collector in to access and in the end he brought them.
In 1 of the cars he found a box, abit water damaged with a train engine in (just the actual engine no carraige). He was honest and gave it to us.
It turned out to be a pre war TRIX from Germany.
My mum said I could have it, and I put it on ebay and had a MASS bidding war, people from all countries wanting it.
In the end it went for about £400, and I brought myself a new TV for the lounge LOL - im sure dad didnt mind.
