Close to "when I go out I'm interested in having a good time".

If someone emails you with misspelled words and bad grammar, do you respond?

Two things:
1. Typically bad grammar and spelling is a sign of a spambot of some sort. And I'm not talking about a misplaced modifier here or there; so if it's grammar is to the point of unreadability I chuck it.
2. If they are that careless on their grammar and spelling (and who doesn't realize that the red-underline isn't telling you you've made a very good point), where is the other person's mind?

One other that I didn't mention. "I'm not looking for cheaters or liars." As if that's gonna dissuade them.

10. The gratuitous boob shot.
What listings have those. I must be in the wrong city.

What are the worst and most common cliches you come across on a daily basis. My two are "I'm not into guys who play games" and "I want to start as friends and then see where it goes." (or some variant). On the former, I love to play a lot of games. Trivial pursuit, zonks, texas hold 'em. And on the second, we're on a dating site, not a friendship site. Friendship is nice, but it's kinda like going to a truck dealership and saying "I'm just interested in a car to start".

why is sex so important?

Because otherwise there would just be two wallflowers staring at each other.
And I won't lie, sex is very important. It's not the only thing, but it is a thing.

What's the line between assertive and agressive

So I try to hook up with a girl who's at work, trying all the usual moves, that sort of crap, and it ends up that she doesn't want to date me because I'm not enough of a Christian for her, whatever that means. At the same time i've been told I'm too shy. Well, something like that isn't going to do wonders for me, but what am I to do to get somebody in my life. Act like how I think a jerk would act like so I go against my own shyness?

One of those standard things you have to say. Personally, I'm an indoor guy, computer honk, but trying to break out.
