Dating is all about income

To the author:
As for this money/ gold-digger biz, I think that if you take a woman who has worked hard to earn her degree and her financial status, who finally has the means to follow her dream of, let’s say, traveling the world. Then you try to match her up with an average guy who works for minimum wage all his life. No matter how attractive or quick witted, he is going to be eventually left at the airport holding his own baggage. Keeping a woman from her dreams is like speeding towards a red stoplight. It may be fun with the pedal to the metal but when the smell of burnt rubber and brake dust fades that big Rolls that was doing 35 the whole time is gonna eventually catch up. Whether you be man, woman, or Richard Simmons we should be able to not only be headed for the same finish line, but be able to clear the same hurdles.
You say that you don’t bring up the sex topic unless she does. I say if she considers you respectful then talking about sex with a non-perv approach just says you are open and confident with your own sexuality as well as learning about her views on sex. Ignoring perhaps the deep-seated of human emotions could only end in devastation.
I believe your dating challenges not only involve what you bring to the table, but how you carry yourself. Somehow I do believe that it’s all some kind of test and whether women know it or not, even if women are not looking for a husband they are testing us to find out if we are worthy marriage material. If we don’t look them in their eyes when they are speaking then we are considered too weak to protect them or pervs because we are staring at the twins (Here’s a little test. Give her the honest respect of looking her in the eyes when she is talking to you the whole time, then let her notice one CASUAL glance south to let her know she’s got the more carnal side of your attention. Besides she didn’t squeeze into that slinky thing for religious reasons, come on. If you haven’t given her any reason to make you a martini hat then she won’t, and if she does then she’s the one in need of a little self love, not you.). If we are too nice then we are not assertive enough to hold our own when important decisions need to be made. And, I say so be it. Women should be on the look out for losers and maybe those curves do naturally make our heads spin because it is somehow encoded in our brains that they are a sign of fertility. Damn chimps! Well, so what, I say don’t fight nature; as body language needs to be as powerful as it is, so does subconscious selection.

Different Marriage Rules?
Posted:

I think that the inventor of this forum post has only further identified the problem. Marriage Is Not A Contract. Marriage is (no I’m not married) what I had believed to be a sign of mutual devotion. Just maybe the reason for all of these unhappy endings is the soul fact that people translate those two famous words “I do” as “ball and chain”. If you get married and your significant other tosses his credit in the toilet then your 750 rating flushes along with it. Now that’s one of the elements of this “U.S. marriage” crap that ruins the whole idea, right? On the other hand, having children together should, without doubt, involve a “contract”. “Baby’s Daddy” gets a kick in the sack for not paying child support, would probably be the first criterion.

Do men realy think that blonds are more attractive?

A hairstylist's point of view:
It's a ratio thing. I believe that is what started the whole Marilyn Monroe thing anyways. I bet the world's brunette/blonde ratio must be around 3 to 1. This must mean that there is a uniqueness factor in there somewhere that some of us may crave. Still overall, in today's Barbie doll powered culture, the irony lies in true beauty which is not seen but by the heart. All women are beautiful and, as luck may have it, enhanced by their imperfections. Beauty is the perception of a collected mind. Truth is what keeps us there. I can say an apple is beautiful before taking a bite of the worm. Even so, nothing is as far away as one minute ago so bleach those tresses and augment away, let them fantasize of the beauty you hold inside with just one fleeting look. Just please get that broccoli out of teeth first. Thank you.

Why not tell the truth

Touché, you can ask honest people for honesty. Obviously you’ve had the misfortune of confiding in a dishonest person. Haven’t we all. Ah, what ever happened to high school puppy love? Did it grow horns or just get a master’s in real life? Here’s my take, if a guy doesn’t understand his sex drive and why chimpanzees bump coconuts about 50 times a day and humans do not, the poor guy will be caught in a vicious competition of standards with the guys at work. One idea might be that men typically don’t know themselves very well and if a man fails to understand why he wants to get it, get it, and get some more, the wife feels like a vagina with feet. Likewise, I feel that women, in general, know themselves pretty well but fall short of understanding the nature of male sexuality. I could only picture Dr. Ruth marrying Dr. Phil. I recall a good point in a psychology speech once about the differences between male and female sex drives that women were only physiologically designed to have sex once every nine or ten months roughly. Thank God this chastity doesn’t actually govern marriages/ relationships today because us guys would feel strangled by the very penis we admire so much, not to mention knocking the lamp off the table every time we walked by. I would have to conclude that women and men must understand as well as respect each other’s sexuality/ emotional behavior on an educated level (key words) if there is any chance of having a healthy relationship. I feel that this ignorance is the basis behind all cheating, arguing, misunderstanding, things that lead to this, which lead to that.

Why Cant He See?

Don’t call me a hater or a scholar for that matter, but your poem lacks dimension and possibly some metaphors. Pass along the feeling without directly describing what’s going on. Instead of the waves being loud, the violent waves roar, instead of thinking you’re drifting in a cloud or something.
Constructively,
Anthony
