I show my boobs on my profile to be real and not to mislead the guys. In the past I did not reveal my busty figured and when guys met me their jaws dropped. I do not have to wear baggy shirts to hide my boobs. Men can be gentleman and not make crude remarks to me!

How about STDs or paying child support for 18 or 21 years? I work in an STD clinic and it is very scarey with all the diseases that are out there. Also, why should women always have the burden of birth control, why don't men come up to the plate nad be responsible? Some women cannot tale chemical b irth control , such as pills, shots, or the ;patch. AAlso, can not use IUD or diagraphm. You need some STD and birth control counsling dude!!!!

Sometimes, you can tell the pic is old by the color on the picture or the hair style or clolthes are out of style. Some guys on here use a picture that is 10-20 yrs old for their profile picture and then when you look at the rest of their profile they are aged or extreamly overweight or do not look teh same!!!!

I joined Pof to find a LTR, very hard to do and find. Before i joined Pof I took a 4 month break form dating because i broke up with a boyfreind of 3 and half years who had a severe drinking promblem. This was a difficult relationship because he had so many personalities. I left him because i loved myself. I was hoping to find a mature man that had his act together nad knew what he wanted. What i got was completly different. Becareful, there are lot of people on here that have criminal records!!! However, I made on line friends that I chat with who live far away and they are caring and sincere. However, many men are not real and sincere. They say they love you, you are the only girl for them, you are so gorgous, then say they do not want a relationship. I had dates too that we only beame freinds too and thats cool. Also, the men i am not attractive to both physically or emotionally want to marry me. The men I like alot do not want to marry me or take me seriously. Yes, there are some realy sweet men on here but I know its not going to go anywhere. I know someday I will get it right.

I get asked these annoying questions too, I get asked why I did not get amrried or why I did not have any kids. Its kinda getting personal! Whats worse is when they bash their ex wife or girlfreind. It tenses me up. or they tell alllthe bad stuff an ex did to them. I quesion why the hell they are on a date with me? I am excellent cook. I love to cook. The more skills we have in life but the better it is for them! What bothers me is that men in thier 40s who do not know how to cook that well!!! My mother never held my hand, she taught me life skills to last a life time! I think some of these guys and girls were babied when they were growing up and they did not have to lifta hand. I think people forget that getting hurt is part of life. I have been hurt in a lot of realationships, but I do not pine over what happened to me. I had lots of bad things that happened to me with men and a lot of unanswered questions from men who would not respond back to me when i emailed, texted, or called them. Its their lost. I try to look at people as individals and people handle their bad situations differently.. Every bad situation that happened to me made stronger. I am a positive person no matter how much bad stuff has happened to me in my love life or personal life. I am upbeat, happy, and I love myself.Things happen for a reason and i always grew as aperson from them.

3 marriage proposals by men I am not interesed in and i am not dating them ! Posted: 11/3/2009 5:09:58 PM
This is really weird and i did not meet any of these men on line!I had 3 marriage proposals in October 2009. I had 2 men that I just met, I told them straight out we are only friends and they still both asked me to marry them! I never even kissed these men on the lips! One of them was still married and told me he loved me and he said he would divorse his wife for me. He then called me and told me his wife served divorce papers on him. He siad we can get married! I told them I was not interested in them several times. It was hard to get rid of them until I hung up on them abruptly. My ex who lives in Washington, d.c. calls me out of the blue and told me he loves me and in 2 years he will be getting his 20 year pension from the Government job as he has been a congressional staffer . He said I do not have to even work becaue his pension is so huge. He can find aother job and keep his pension. I would have to move back to Washington, d.c. where I met him while I was an intern. The really strange part was he been s seeeing a woman who did not have a lot of sexual experiences, in other words she was a virgin until she had sex with my ex. My ex said he was just using her because he did never had sex with avirgin and he is going to dump her after the new year. He wanted me to come and see him while he was dating this women and we would tell her we are friends. He sent emails and called me and told me that he loes me and that I was the best sex he had in his 41 years. He told me if he had more money he fly me into Washington, d.c. every weekend because he misses the sex. I refused to see him, he offered to pay half my plane ticket. He sent me an email and telling me he loves me, he misssed how we made love. He admitted the sex was the best part of the realtionship but there has to be more to a marriage then that. He told me my values and beliefs are to Mid-West ... meaning I am too honest, ethical, and got morals. He said if I live in the Federal city I need to know how to use people, lie, be decietful, cheat, and only care about myself. He is a very conservative Democrat and I am more of a moderate to Liberal Democrat. I told him when you love someone you accept them for who they are and do not try to change them. This guy is not mature enough to be married because he thinks couples need to be matching book ends. I lived with this guy on weekends while i was an intern in 2005-2006. Yes, we had great times going to political events, going to see the historical events, and numerous clubs and plays. I refused to marry him even if I could go back to living the glamerous life of the Congress with fancy parties, celeberties and Congressional perks. October 2009 was quite a month for me but if I married any of these men I would end up divorce. I do want to get married , live together, or have a significant other but the guy has to love me for me. I know one day i will find that special guy.

Maybe you have not found the right one yet. I am picky, Its been a challange for me to find a long term relationship. Sometimes its not you, its the person you are interested got too many flaws or they just are not mature enough to commit! There are so many artificial people on line its awful or they say how wonderful you are and what you mena to you... then poof they dispear. Be patient, and do not settle because some people have bad credit, criminal record, or don't pay their bills on tim or not at all.

I agree with red flags, I was called a red flager when I was writing my thesis paper in grad school and wrking 2 jobs, did not mean to ignore people in my family, even ignored my parents because iw as too busy. 3Sick family member 4. Dead family member 5. He's just not that into you 6. Forgot to pay the internet bill 7. Doesn't have time for the internet 8. Computer/modem failure Red flags to me is they tell you they want a a long term relationship but all they talk about is sex and in the 2nd email they tell me they have an 8 or 9 inver and they are fixed so I have no worries about getting knocked up.

This happened to me many times in my life. I felt bad when a wife of 20 yrs called me and told me to leave her husband alone. He was an attorney who had 3 school age children. I told her I was sorry and told i will leave him alone. This was ages ago buy I was only watching tv with a guy I was dating and his girlfriend of 10 yrs comes in his door with her key and gives me a dirty look. She screamed at him and told me that this is her man of 10 yrs. She told me to leave, she then calls me on her cell phone and asked me a bunch of questions, she comes over to my palce and apoligizes, gives me her phone number to contact to go out for a drink and pick up some men!!!!! This happened twice when the girlfreinds called me and told me I was seeing their man and they were with them for over 7 yrs. I told all these women thatI was sorry I did not know. I felt bad for all these women because they were all in tears.

Yes, happens to people all the time. This one guy I only like as friend, like a brother, we share the interest of photography and he would take me to the alter the next day if he had his way. There is only one promblem, I am not attractive to him physically or emotionally attractive to him in a romantic way. I tell him we are freinds only, buddies like guys. He tells me " call it want you like. " I want to be your boyfriend." I tell him no, our realtionship will not go in that direction. He says he loves me all the time. I telll him I love you like a brother thats is it! he even would like me to get an apt. with him after he sales his house. I told him I do bettter living alone. The reason you are arguing with your late father and you can not go to his grave is because you can not forgive him for the way he treated you. I learned taht letting go of grudges and forgiving is not for the person who wronged you, its a cleansing of the soul and heart. If we hang on to the person who wronged us then we are exactly like the person who did us wrong. I have forgiven people who wronged me in order for me to find peace and happines sin my self. I have a sister hwo is very jelaous of me and has done some hurtful things to me in the past. I just feel sorry for her and say a prayer for her. Forgivenes is not about forgiivng the other person, rather it is for yourself and letting go of the pain they caused you. It does not mean you have to be friends with that person.

I agree never move somehwere for a man... You move for things like this. A job promotion. A change of careers. Family needs you. move to another area for a specialist that is ina prestigious medical clinic. ( my cousin moved to Arizona for her cancer and MS... she is doing great) But not for a boyfriend that you thought would work out. Men are too flakey, I am sure women are the same way too. I worked in a women shelter 10 yrs ago and this young woman from olkaholma met her boyfriend on line and moved to Iowa to move in with him. She found out a few days after she moved in with him he was sentenced to prison ofr 3 months, he did not pay his rent for 2 months and he was evicted from his home because he did not pay his rent. This woman had no job and did not have enough money to go back home. Staying at a woman's shelter is not romantic.
