I would say it all depends on the connection. There's no right or wrong answer. It depends on the two people involved. I went out with a girl for 6 months were on the first date, there was pretty much everything but sex, second date everything. And went out for 3 years with a girl were it all happened on the second date.

I think that if he asked you out... he should pay. If you asked him out.... you should at least pay for yourself. Asking a guy out and expecting him to pay for it all makes you no better then a guy who asks a girl out and only having the intention of sleeping with her.

you made one mistake.... you werent honest with him and told him you just want to get laid. I have been with a few girls like that. Went out... we both had a good time, but before things got sexual, she was up front and honest.... she wasnt looking for a relationship, or anything serious... if phsyical things happened between us to not take it as a sign. With both people honest there was no problems.... just great sex!
