What's your favourite quote?
Posted: 5/15/2006 2:10:48 AM
A few of my favourites, that I haven't already read:

"Be careful what you wish for"

"The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence"

"The only things that are certain are death and taxes"

I'd have to see it before making an opinion. I've got nothing against tatoos. I thought about getting one some time ago but couldn't come up with something I'd always cherish. Maybe one day I'll think of it and go for it.

I suspect the subject of your post is a ruse. What's your real question and where did you get that cool photo of the polar bear?

Do brunettes like you 'cause there's a lot more of them around and many are very georgeous. Maybe you should just forget about the blonds for awhile. I'll bet you this. If you walked into a restaurant, let's say with a lovely brunette as your date, and there was a blond in site she'd probably give you a little attention then.

NO OFFENCE to blonds, redheads, mixed color hair, bald, etc women.

what would you say is the greatest sit-com ever?

After reading and being reminded of all the old sitcoms I always enjoyed SOAP. Anyone remember that one. Billy Crystal was one of the characters way before he ever did a movie.

It seems to me that sayanora has recovered. She has regained enough strength to move on and post another post.

Astrology? obviously not for everyone!!

Pardon me, I'm still trying to get the hang of this Forum stuff. In my previous post I was responding to the post by "webhead".

Webdude, you're obviously an intelligent guy and I suspect playing the Devils advocate.

I say so because I really doubt you rely only on purported conclusions from studies funded by who the He** knows.

Are these researchers, or their bosses, related to the ones that forced Galileo to house arrest???

Why do some members block others based on whether that person admits to smoking, for example. I can somewhat understand when you're looking for a mate, to raise a family... What I don't understand is why refuse to JUST talk to someone if they "smoke"?

What's next, blocking someone with a family history of heart disease, kidney disease, brown eyes, etc. People are only encouraged to lie about their profile.

Yes, I'm an occasional, realize it's bad and am trying to quit.

Seinfeld , in my opinion was the greatest comedy sitcom ever. It was absolutely brilliant , original, genius. I still find myself talking about episodes even though it's been off the air for years.

For those who tend to agree with me you might want to check out the sitcom "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (you'd have to rent it). It's an HBO sitcom written by Larry David, the co-producer of Seinfeld. Larry David was the voice of Georges Boss when he worked at the baseball stadium.

No offence to lovers of "Friends" but I can't get over how much money the actors were paid. It was OK but pretty corny, silly, juvenile.....

Hmm....do men know how creepy they can be sometimes?
Posted: 4/27/2006 5:37:12 PM
There are definitely some creepy guys out there and the one(s) you refer to may fit that profile. There are a lot of other profiles though that you've got to condsider. Guys with little tact that mean no harm.....just not the James Bond type.

Guys have the near impossible task to come up with something to say to a woman in trying to woo them. Especially after hearing comments from women of how many ridiculous pick-up lines they've heard.

On the flip-side, women could say just about anything and we libidinous Neanderthals will not complain..."She talked to me... I think she likes me..."

Back to the James Bond type.. there are some guys that have a gift and can say just about anything to a woman and be considered charming, whereas some other guy saying the same thing would be considered a creep . AGAIN I AM NOT DEFENDING THOSE WHO ARE LEGITIMATELY CREEPY.

So, after reading a few other posted replies I'd have to say you've been given a lot of good suggestions. Examples: ask them how big there penis is, tell them you do live alone but the place is really congested with all your fire-arms, Block Them...or if they just don't have any tact give them a few pointers

Astrology? for life and love...
Posted: 4/24/2006 8:34:18 PM
I'm skeptical but not closed minded. There's a lot to consider. Look at all that's been discovered, proven, invented....since we humans could think.... even with all the doomsayers, disbelievers, self-rightous zealouts, dictators, censors, religious fanatics.... that stood in the way of what has become.....

This fantastic device called a computer hooked up to the internet..using cable..satellite...radio waves..that . of what has become . At one point wasn't the earth flat and at the center of the universe? I try to be wary of the charlatans (mostly relatives) who'll con you out of your life savings. On the other hand I try to be open minded.

I think it was Einstein that said "Imagination is more important than knowledge".

Anyway my point is I believe there's some validity to astrology but it's not YET considered a science.
